      <verse number='1'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="567">Amorites</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> were </em>on the <strongs number="5676">side</strongs>of <strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs><strongs number="3220">westward</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="3669">Canaanites</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>the <strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had dried <strongs number="3001">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>of <strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">until</strongs>we were passed <strongs number="5674">over</strongs>, that their <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs><strongs number="4549">melted</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>there <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>in them any <strongs number="5750">more</strongs>, <strongs number="4480 6440">because</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>At <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="6256">time</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs>, <strongs number="6213">Make</strongs>thee <strongs number="6864">sharp</strongs><strongs number="2719">knives</strongs>, and <strongs number="4135">circumcise</strongs><strongs number="7725">again</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>the <strongs number="8145">second</strongs>time. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs><strongs number="6213">made</strongs>him <strongs number="6864">sharp</strongs><strongs number="2719">knives</strongs>, and <strongs number="4135">circumcised</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="413">at</strongs>the <strongs number="1389">hill</strongs>of the <strongs number="6190">foreskins</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="1697">cause</strongs><strongs number="834">why</strongs><strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs>did <strongs number="4135">circumcise</strongs>: <strongs number="3605">All</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>that came <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>, <em> that </em><em> were </em><strongs number="2145">males</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="4421">war</strongs>, <strongs number="4191">died</strongs>in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>by the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>, after they came <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3588">Now</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>that came <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="1961">were</strongs><strongs number="4135">circumcised</strongs>: but <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><em> that </em><em> were </em><strongs number="3209">born</strongs>in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>by the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>as they came <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>, <em> them </em>they had <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="4135">circumcised</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='7'>And their <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>, <em> whom </em>he raised <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>in their <strongs number="8478">stead</strongs>, them <strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs><strongs number="4135">circumcised</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>they <strongs number="1961">were</strongs><strongs number="6189">uncircumcised</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>they had <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="4135">circumcised</strongs>them by the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <strongs number="834">when</strongs>they had <strongs number="8552">done</strongs><strongs number="4135">circumcising</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1471">people</strongs>, that they <strongs number="3427">abode</strongs>in their <strongs number="8478">places</strongs>in the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">till</strongs>they were <strongs number="2421">whole</strongs>. </verse>

Wherefore the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>is <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="1537">Gilgal</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='11'>And they did <strongs number="398">eat</strongs>of the old <strongs number="4480 5669">corn</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>on the morrow <strongs number="4480 4283">after</strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs>, unleavened <strongs number="4682">cakes</strongs>, and <strongs number="7033">parched</strongs><em> corn </em>in the <strongs number="6106 2088">selfsame</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>

And <strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs><strongs number="5307">fell</strongs><strongs number="413">on</strongs>his <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>to the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>, and did <strongs number="7812">worship</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><strongs number="1696">saith</strongs>my <strongs number="113">lord</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>his <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And the <strongs number="8269">captain</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s <strongs number="6635">host</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs>, <strongs number="5394">Loose</strongs>thy <strongs number="5275">shoe</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 5921">off</strongs>thy <strongs number="7272">foot</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs><strongs number="834 5921">whereon</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="5975">standest</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="6944">holy</strongs>. And <strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs><strongs number="6213">did</strongs><strongs number="3651">so</strongs>. </verse>
