      <verse number='2'><strongs number="3947">Take</strongs>you <strongs number="8147 6240">twelve</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, out of every tribe a <strongs number="376 259 376 259 4480 7626">man</strongs>, </verse>

      <verse number='12'>And the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="7205">Reuben</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="1410">Gad</strongs>, and <strongs number="2677">half</strongs>the <strongs number="7626">tribe</strongs>of <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>, passed <strongs number="5674">over</strongs><strongs number="2571">armed</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs><strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them: </verse>
      <verse number='13'>About <strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="2502">prepared</strongs>for <strongs number="6635">war</strongs>passed <strongs number="5674">over</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>unto <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>, <strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="6160">plains</strongs>of <strongs number="3405">Jericho</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>On <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1431">magnified</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; and they <strongs number="3372">feared</strongs>him, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>they <strongs number="3372">feared</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of his <strongs number="2416">life</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='16'><strongs number="6680">Command</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>that <strongs number="5375">bear</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="5715">testimony</strongs>, that they come <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs>therefore <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Come ye <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='19'>And the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>came <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>on the <strongs number="6218">tenth</strongs><em> day </em>of the <strongs number="7223">first</strongs><strongs number="2320">month</strongs>, and <strongs number="2583">encamped</strongs>in <strongs number="1537">Gilgal</strongs>, in the <strongs number="4217">east</strongs><strongs number="7097">border</strongs>of <strongs number="3405">Jericho</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And <strongs number="428">those</strongs><strongs number="8147 6240">twelve</strongs><strongs number="68">stones</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>they <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>, did <strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs><strongs number="6965">pitch</strongs>in <strongs number="1537">Gilgal</strongs>. </verse>
