      <verse number='37'><strongs number="3326">After</strongs>this <strongs number="5126">man</strongs>rose <strongs number="450">up</strongs><strongs number="2455">Judas</strongs>of <strongs number="1057">Galilee</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2250">days</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="582">taxing</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>drew <strongs number="868">away</strongs><strongs number="2425">much</strongs><strongs number="2992">people</strongs><strongs number="3694">after</strongs><strongs number="848">him</strongs>: he <strongs number="2548">also</strongs><strongs number="622">perished</strongs>; <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3956">all</strongs>, <em> even </em>as many <strongs number="3745">as</strongs><strongs number="3982">obeyed</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs>, were <strongs number="1287">dispersed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='38'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs><strongs number="3569">now</strongs>I <strongs number="3004">say</strongs>unto <strongs number="5213">you</strongs>, <strongs number="868">Refrain</strongs><strongs number="575">from</strongs><strongs number="5130">these</strongs><strongs number="444">men</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>let them <strongs number="1439 846">alone</strongs>: <strongs number="3754">for</strongs><strongs number="1437">if</strongs><strongs number="3778">this</strongs><strongs number="1012">counsel</strongs><strongs number="2228">or</strongs><strongs number="5124">this</strongs><strongs number="2041">work</strongs><strongs number="5600">be</strongs><strongs number="1537">of</strongs><strongs number="444">men</strongs>, it will come to <strongs number="2647">nought</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='39'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs><strongs number="1487">if</strongs>it <strongs number="2076">be</strongs><strongs number="1537">of</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, ye <strongs number="1410 3756">cannot</strongs><strongs number="2647">overthrow</strongs><strongs number="846">it</strongs>; lest <strongs number="3379">haply</strongs>ye be <strongs number="2147">found</strongs><strongs number="2532">even</strongs>to fight against <strongs number="2314">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='40'><strongs number="1161">And</strongs>to <strongs number="846">him</strongs>they <strongs number="3982">agreed</strongs>: <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>when they had <strongs number="4341">called</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="652">apostles</strongs>, and <strongs number="1194">beaten</strongs><em> them, </em>they <strongs number="3853">commanded</strongs>that they should <strongs number="3361">not</strongs><strongs number="2980">speak</strongs><strongs number="1909">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3686">name</strongs>of <strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>let them <strongs number="630 846">go</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='41'><strongs number="3767">And</strongs><strongs number="3588">they</strongs><strongs number="4198">departed</strongs><strongs number="575">from</strongs>the <strongs number="4383">presence</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4892">council</strongs>, <strongs number="5463">rejoicing</strongs><strongs number="3754">that</strongs>they were counted <strongs number="2661">worthy</strongs>to suffer <strongs number="818">shame</strongs><strongs number="5228">for</strongs><strongs number="846">his</strongs><strongs number="3686">name</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='42'><strongs number="5037">And</strongs><strongs number="3956 2250">daily</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2411">temple</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>in every <strongs number="2596 3624">house</strongs>, they <strongs number="3973">ceased</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs>to <strongs number="1321">teach</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2097">preach</strongs><strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>. </verse>
