      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="3885">murmured</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>and <strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>: and the <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="5712">congregation</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, Would God <strongs number="3863">that</strongs>we had <strongs number="4191">died</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>! <strongs number="176">or</strongs>would <strongs number="3863">God</strongs>we had <strongs number="4191">died</strongs>in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>! </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="4100">wherefore</strongs>hath the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs>us <strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, to <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, that our <strongs number="802">wives</strongs>and our <strongs number="2945">children</strongs>should <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="957">prey</strongs>? were it <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2896">better</strongs>for us to <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>into <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='8'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2654">delight</strongs>in us, then he will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs>us <strongs number="413">into</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>it us; a <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="2100">floweth</strongs>with <strongs number="2461">milk</strongs>and <strongs number="1706">honey</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='10'>But <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5712">congregation</strongs><strongs number="559">bade</strongs><strongs number="7275">stone</strongs>them with <strongs number="68">stones</strongs>. And the <strongs number="3519">glory</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs>in the <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs>of the <strongs number="4150">congregation</strongs><strongs number="413">before</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>, How <strongs number="5704 575">long</strongs>will <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="5006">provoke</strongs>me? and how <strongs number="5704 575">long</strongs>will it be <strongs number="3808">ere</strongs>they <strongs number="539">believe</strongs>me, for <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="226">signs</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I have <strongs number="6213">showed</strongs><strongs number="7130">among</strongs>them? </verse>
      <verse number='12'>I will <strongs number="5221">smite</strongs>them with the <strongs number="1698">pestilence</strongs>, and <strongs number="3423">disinherit</strongs>them, and will <strongs number="6213">make</strongs>of thee a <strongs number="1419">greater</strongs><strongs number="1471">nation</strongs>and <strongs number="6099">mightier</strongs><strongs number="4480">than</strongs>they. </verse>

      <verse number='17'>And <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>, I beseech <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, let the <strongs number="3581">power</strongs>of my <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs>be <strongs number="1431">great</strongs>, according <strongs number="834">as</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='18'>The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="750 639">longsuffering</strongs>, and of <strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="2617">mercy</strongs>, <strongs number="5375">forgiving</strongs><strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>and <strongs number="6588">transgression</strongs>, and by no means <strongs number="5352 5352 3808">clearing</strongs><em> the </em><em> guilty </em>, <strongs number="6485">visiting</strongs>the <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>of the <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="8029">third</strongs>and <strongs number="7256">fourth</strongs><em> generation </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'><strongs number="5545">Pardon</strongs>, I beseech <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, the <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>of <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>according unto the <strongs number="1433">greatness</strongs>of thy <strongs number="2617">mercy</strongs>, and <strongs number="834">as</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="5375">forgiven</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, from <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>even <strongs number="5704">until</strongs><strongs number="2008">now</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, I have <strongs number="5545">pardoned</strongs>according to thy <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='21'>But <em> as </em><strongs number="199">truly</strongs><em> as </em><strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="2416">live</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs>with the <strongs number="3519">glory</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'><strongs number="3588">Because</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>those <strongs number="376">men</strongs>which have <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="3519">glory</strongs>, and my <strongs number="226">miracles</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>in <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>and in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>, and have <strongs number="5254">tempted</strongs>me now <strongs number="2088">these</strongs><strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="6471">times</strongs>, and have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs>to my <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='23'><strongs number="518">Surely</strongs>they shall not <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="7650">swore</strongs>unto their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall <strongs number="3605">any</strongs>of them that <strongs number="5006">provoked</strongs>me <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>it: </verse>
      <verse number='24'>But my <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="3612">Caleb</strongs>, <strongs number="6118">because</strongs>he <strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="312">another</strongs><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him, and hath followed me <strongs number="4390 310">fully</strongs>, him will I <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834 8033">whereinto</strongs>he <strongs number="935">went</strongs>; and his <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>shall <strongs number="3423">possess</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>(Now the <strongs number="6003">Amalekites</strongs>and the <strongs number="3669">Canaanites</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>in the <strongs number="6010">valley</strongs>.) <strongs number="4279">Tomorrow</strongs><strongs number="6437">turn</strongs>you, and <strongs number="5265">get</strongs>you into the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>by the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>of the <strongs number="5488">Red</strongs><strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='26'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>and <strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs><strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='27'>How <strongs number="5704 4970">long</strongs><em> shall </em><em> I </em><em> bear </em><em> with </em><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5712">congregation</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="3885">murmur</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me? I have <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8519">murmurings</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="3885">murmur</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me. </verse>

      <verse number='29'>Your <strongs number="6297">carcasses</strongs>shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>; and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that were <strongs number="6485">numbered</strongs>of you, according to your <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="4557">number</strongs>, from <strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="4480 1121">old</strongs>and <strongs number="4605">upward</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>have <strongs number="3885">murmured</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me, </verse>

      <verse number='31'>But your little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>ye <strongs number="559">said</strongs>should <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="957">prey</strongs>, them will I bring <strongs number="935">in</strongs>, and they shall <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>ye have <strongs number="3988">despised</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='32'>But <em> as </em><em> for </em><strongs number="859">you</strongs>, your <strongs number="6297">carcasses</strongs>, they shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='33'>And your <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961 7462">wander</strongs>in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs><strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>, and <strongs number="5375">bear</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>your <strongs number="2184">whoredoms</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">until</strongs>your <strongs number="6297">carcasses</strongs>be <strongs number="8552">wasted</strongs>in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='35'><strongs number="589">I</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>have <strongs number="1696">said</strongs>, I will <strongs number="518 3808">surely</strongs><strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="2063">it</strongs>unto <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5712">congregation</strongs>, that are gathered <strongs number="3259">together</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me: in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>they shall be <strongs number="8552">consumed</strongs>, and <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>they shall <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='36'>And the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>to <strongs number="8446">search</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, who <strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>, and made <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5712">congregation</strongs>to <strongs number="3885">murmur</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>him, by bringing <strongs number="3318">up</strongs>a <strongs number="1681">slander</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='37'>Even those <strongs number="376">men</strongs>that did bring <strongs number="3318">up</strongs>the <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="1681">report</strongs>upon the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, <strongs number="4191">died</strongs>by the <strongs number="4046">plague</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='38'>But <strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="5126">Nun</strongs>, and <strongs number="3612">Caleb</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3312">Jephunneh</strongs>, <em> which </em><em> were </em><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>that <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="8446">search</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, <strongs number="2421">lived</strongs><em> still </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='39'>And <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs><strongs number="1696">told</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1697">sayings</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: and the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="56">mourned</strongs><strongs number="3966">greatly</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='42'>Go not <strongs number="5927 408">up</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="7130">among</strongs>you; that ye be <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5062">smitten</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>your <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='43'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>the <strongs number="6003">Amalekites</strongs>and the <strongs number="3669">Canaanites</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>you, and ye shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>: <strongs number="3588 5921 3651">because</strongs>ye are turned <strongs number="7725">away</strongs><strongs number="4480 310">from</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, therefore the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>you. </verse>
      <verse number='44'>But they <strongs number="6075">presumed</strongs>to go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="2022">hill</strongs><strongs number="7218">top</strongs>: nevertheless the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>, <strongs number="4185">departed</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>out <strongs number="4480 7130">of</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='45'>Then the <strongs number="6003">Amalekites</strongs>came <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3669">Canaanites</strongs>which <strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="2022">hill</strongs>, and <strongs number="5221">smote</strongs>them, and <strongs number="3807">discomfited</strongs>them, <em> even </em><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="2767">Hormah</strongs>. </verse>
