      <verse number='2'><strongs number="3213">Howl</strongs>, fir <strongs number="1265">tree</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="730">cedar</strongs>is <strongs number="5307">fallen</strongs>; <strongs number="834">because</strongs>the <strongs number="117">mighty</strongs>are <strongs number="7703">spoiled</strongs>: <strongs number="3213">howl</strongs>, O ye <strongs number="437">oaks</strongs>of <strongs number="1316">Bashan</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3293">forest</strongs>of the <strongs number="1208">vintage</strongs>is come <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><em> There </em><em> is </em>a <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="3215">howling</strongs>of the <strongs number="7462">shepherds</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>their <strongs number="155">glory</strongs>is <strongs number="7703">spoiled</strongs>: a <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="7581">roaring</strongs>of young <strongs number="3715">lions</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="1347">pride</strongs>of <strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>is <strongs number="7703">spoiled</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>my <strongs number="430">God</strongs>; <strongs number="7462">Feed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>of the <strongs number="2028">slaughter</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="834">Whose</strongs><strongs number="7069">possessors</strongs><strongs number="2026">slay</strongs>them, and hold themselves not <strongs number="816 3808">guilty</strongs>: and they that <strongs number="4376">sell</strongs>them <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="1288">Blessed</strongs><em> be </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; for I am <strongs number="6238">rich</strongs>: and their own <strongs number="7462">shepherds</strongs><strongs number="2550 5921">pity</strongs>them <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='8'><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="7969">Three</strongs><strongs number="7462">shepherds</strongs>also I cut <strongs number="3582">off</strongs>in <strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="3391">month</strongs>; and my <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs><strongs number="7114">loathed</strongs>them, and their <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="973">abhorred</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs>I, I will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7462">feed</strongs>you: that that <strongs number="4191">dieth</strongs>, let it <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>; and that that is to be cut <strongs number="3582">off</strongs>, let it be cut <strongs number="3582">off</strongs>; and let the <strongs number="7604">rest</strongs><strongs number="398">eat</strongs>every <strongs number="802">one</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>of <strongs number="7468">another</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And I <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="4731">staff</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="5278">Beauty</strongs>, and cut it <strongs number="1438 *853">asunder</strongs>, that I might <strongs number="6565">break</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I had <strongs number="3772">made</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And it was <strongs number="6565">broken</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>: and <strongs number="3651">so</strongs>the <strongs number="6041">poor</strongs>of the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>that waited <strongs number="8104">upon</strongs>me <strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="1931">it</strongs><em> was </em>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And I <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="518">If</strongs>ye think <strongs number="2895 5869">good</strongs>, <strongs number="3051">give</strongs><em> me </em>my <strongs number="7939">price</strongs>; and <strongs number="518">if</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, <strongs number="2308">forbear</strongs>. So they weighed <strongs number="8254">for</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="7939">price</strongs><strongs number="7970">thirty</strongs><em> pieces </em>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='15'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="3947">Take</strongs>unto thee <strongs number="5750">yet</strongs>the <strongs number="3627">instruments</strongs>of a <strongs number="196">foolish</strongs><strongs number="7462">shepherd</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, <strongs number="595">I</strongs>will <strongs number="6965">raise</strongs>up a <strongs number="7462">shepherd</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, <em> which </em>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6485">visit</strongs>those that be cut <strongs number="3582">off</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall <strongs number="1245">seek</strongs>the young <strongs number="5289">one</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="7495">heal</strongs>that that is <strongs number="7665">broken</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="3557">feed</strongs>that that standeth <strongs number="5324">still</strongs>: but he shall <strongs number="398">eat</strongs>the <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>of the <strongs number="1277">fat</strongs>, and tear their claws in <strongs number="6561 6541">pieces</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="1945">Woe</strongs>to the <strongs number="457">idol</strongs><strongs number="7473">shepherd</strongs>that <strongs number="5800">leaveth</strongs>the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>! the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="2220">arm</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="3225">right</strongs><strongs number="5869">eye</strongs>: his <strongs number="2220">arm</strongs>shall be clean dried <strongs number="3001 3001">up</strongs>, and his <strongs number="3225">right</strongs><strongs number="5869">eye</strongs>shall be utterly <strongs number="3543 3543">darkened</strongs>. </verse>
