      <verse number='2'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">speaketh</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="2088">This</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="559">say</strongs>, The <strongs number="6256">time</strongs>is <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs>, the <strongs number="6256">time</strongs>that the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>should be <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>Then <strongs number="1961">came</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3027">by</strongs><strongs number="2292">Haggai</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='4'><em> Is </em><em> it </em><strongs number="6256">time</strongs>for you, O <strongs number="859">ye</strongs>, to <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>in your <strongs number="5603">ceiled</strongs><strongs number="1004">houses</strongs>, and <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs><em> lie </em><strongs number="2720">waste</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>therefore <strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; <strongs number="7760 3824 5921">Consider</strongs>your <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Ye have <strongs number="2232">sown</strongs><strongs number="7235">much</strongs>, and bring <strongs number="935">in</strongs><strongs number="4592">little</strongs>; ye <strongs number="398">eat</strongs>, but ye have not <strongs number="369 7646">enough</strongs>; ye <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs>, but ye are not filled with <strongs number="369 7937">drink</strongs>; ye <strongs number="3847">clothe</strongs>you, but there is none <strongs number="369 2552">warm</strongs>; and he that earneth <strongs number="7936">wages</strongs>earneth <strongs number="7936">wages</strongs><em> to </em><em> put </em><em> it </em><strongs number="413">into</strongs>a <strongs number="6872">bag</strongs>with <strongs number="5344">holes</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; <strongs number="7760 3824 5921">Consider</strongs>your <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>to the <strongs number="2022">mountain</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="6086">wood</strongs>, and <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>; and I will take <strongs number="7521">pleasure</strongs>in it, and I will be <strongs number="3513">glorified</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Ye <strongs number="6437">looked</strongs><strongs number="413">for</strongs><strongs number="7235">much</strongs>, and, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, <em> it </em><em> came </em>to <strongs number="4592">little</strongs>; and when ye <strongs number="935">brought</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="1004">home</strongs>, I did <strongs number="5301">blow</strongs>upon it. <strongs number="3282 4100">Why</strongs>? <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>. <strongs number="3282">Because</strongs>of mine <strongs number="1004">house</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2720">waste</strongs>, and <strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="7323">run</strongs>every <strongs number="376">man</strongs>unto his own <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="5921 3651">Therefore</strongs>the <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>you is <strongs number="3607">stayed</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 2919">dew</strongs>, and the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>is <strongs number="3607">stayed</strongs><em> from </em>her <strongs number="2981">fruit</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And I <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>for a <strongs number="2721">drought</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="1715">corn</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the new <strongs number="8492">wine</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="3323">oil</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><em> that </em><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="127">ground</strongs>bringeth <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="120">men</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="929">cattle</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3018">labor</strongs>of the <strongs number="3709">hands</strongs>. </verse>
