      <verse number='1'>The <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="1954">Hosea</strongs>, the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="882">Beeri</strongs>, in the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of <strongs number="5818">Uzziah</strongs>, <strongs number="3147">Jotham</strongs>, <strongs number="271">Ahaz</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="3169">Hezekiah</strongs>, <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of <strongs number="3379">Jeroboam</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3101">Joash</strongs>, <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>The <strongs number="8462">beginning</strongs>of the <strongs number="1696">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>by <strongs number="1954">Hosea</strongs>. And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="1954">Hosea</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">take</strongs>unto thee a <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>of <strongs number="2183">whoredoms</strongs>and <strongs number="3206">children</strongs>of <strongs number="2183">whoredoms</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>hath committed great <strongs number="2181 2181">whoredom</strongs>, <em> departing </em><strongs number="4480 310">from</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>So he <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1586">Gomer</strongs>the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="1691">Diblaim</strongs>; which <strongs number="2029">conceived</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bore</strongs>him a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="7121">Call</strongs>his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="5750">yet</strongs>a <strongs number="4592">little</strongs><em> while </em>, and I will <strongs number="6485">avenge</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>of <strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>, and will cause to <strongs number="7673">cease</strongs>the <strongs number="4468">kingdom</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>at <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, that I will <strongs number="7665">break</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7198">bow</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>in the <strongs number="6010">valley</strongs>of <strongs number="3157">Jezreel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And she <strongs number="2029">conceived</strongs><strongs number="5750">again</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bore</strongs>a <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>. And <em> God </em><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="7121">Call</strongs>her <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><strongs number="3819">Lo</strongs>-ruhamah: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I will <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="5750 3254">more</strongs>have mercy <strongs number="7355">upon</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">but</strongs>I will utterly take them <strongs number="5375 5375">away</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>But I will have mercy <strongs number="7355">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and will <strongs number="3467">save</strongs>them by the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>their <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3467">save</strongs>them by <strongs number="7198">bow</strongs>, nor by <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, nor by <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>, by <strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>, nor by <strongs number="6571">horsemen</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Now when she had <strongs number="1580">weaned</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3819">Lo</strongs>-ruhamah, she <strongs number="2029">conceived</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bore</strongs>a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs><em> God </em>, <strongs number="7121">Call</strongs>his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><strongs number="3818">Lo</strongs>-ammi: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and <strongs number="595">I</strongs>will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs>your <em> God </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>Yet the <strongs number="4557">number</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>as the <strongs number="2344">sand</strongs>of the <strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="3808">cannot</strongs>be <strongs number="4058">measured</strongs><strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="5608">numbered</strongs>; and it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <em> that </em>in the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs><strongs number="834">where</strongs>it was <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto them, <strongs number="859">Ye</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <em> there </em>it shall be <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto them, <em> Ye </em><em> are </em>the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of the <strongs number="2416">living</strongs><strongs number="410">God</strongs>. </verse>
