      <verse number='2'>To <strongs number="834">whom</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs>in the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="526">Amon</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, in the <strongs number="7969 6240">thirteenth</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of his <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>It <strongs number="1961">came</strongs>also in the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of <strongs number="3079">Jehoiakim</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="8552">end</strongs>of the <strongs number="6249 6240">eleventh</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="6667">Zedekiah</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the carrying <strongs number="1540">away</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>captive in the <strongs number="2549">fifth</strongs><strongs number="2320">month</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Then the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="2962">Before</strongs>I <strongs number="3335">formed</strongs>thee in the <strongs number="990">belly</strongs>I <strongs number="3045">knew</strongs>thee; and <strongs number="2962">before</strongs>thou camest <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 7358">womb</strongs>I <strongs number="6942">sanctified</strongs>thee, <em> and </em>I <strongs number="5414">ordained</strongs>thee a <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>unto the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs>I, <strongs number="162">Ah</strongs>, <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>! <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, I <strongs number="3808 3045">cannot</strongs><strongs number="1696">speak</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs><em> am </em>a <strongs number="5288">child</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>But the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">Say</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>, <strongs number="595">I</strongs><em> am </em>a <strongs number="5288">child</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thou shalt <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I shall <strongs number="7971">send</strongs>thee, and <strongs number="3605 834">whatsoever</strongs>I <strongs number="6680">command</strongs>thee thou shalt <strongs number="1696">speak</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Be <strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="3372">afraid</strongs>of their <strongs number="4480 6440">faces</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>thee to <strongs number="5337">deliver</strongs>thee, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Then the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>put <strongs number="7971">forth</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, and <strongs number="5060 5921">touched</strongs>my <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>. And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I have <strongs number="5414">put</strongs>my <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>in thy <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="7200">See</strongs>, I have <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs><strongs number="6485">set</strongs>thee <strongs number="5921">over</strongs>the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>and <strongs number="5921">over</strongs>the <strongs number="4467">kingdoms</strongs>, to root <strongs number="5428">out</strongs>, and to pull <strongs number="5422">down</strongs>, and to <strongs number="6">destroy</strongs>, and to throw <strongs number="2040">down</strongs>, to <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>, and to <strongs number="5193">plant</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>Moreover the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">what</strongs><strongs number="7200">seest</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>? And I <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs>a <strongs number="4731">rod</strongs>of an almond <strongs number="8247">tree</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, Thou hast <strongs number="3190">well</strongs><strongs number="7200">seen</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="8245 5921">hasten</strongs>my <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">perform</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me the second <strongs number="8145">time</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><strongs number="7200">seest</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>? And I <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs>a <strongs number="5301">seething</strongs><strongs number="5518">pot</strongs>; and the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>thereof <em> is </em><strongs number="4480 6440">toward</strongs>the <strongs number="6828">north</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Then the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, Out of the <strongs number="4480 6828">north</strongs>an <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>shall break <strongs number="6605">forth</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, I will <strongs number="7121">call</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4940">families</strongs>of the <strongs number="4467">kingdoms</strongs>of the <strongs number="6828">north</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and they shall <strongs number="935">come</strongs>, and they shall <strongs number="5414">set</strongs>every <strongs number="376">one</strongs>his <strongs number="3678">throne</strongs>at the <strongs number="6607">entering</strongs>of the <strongs number="8179">gates</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="2346">walls</strongs>thereof round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And I will <strongs number="1696">utter</strongs>my <strongs number="4941">judgments</strongs>against them <strongs number="5921">touching</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>their <strongs number="7451">wickedness</strongs>, <strongs number="834">who</strongs>have <strongs number="5800">forsaken</strongs>me, and have burned <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs>unto <strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, and <strongs number="7812">worshiped</strongs>the <strongs number="4639">works</strongs>of their own <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="859">Thou</strongs>therefore gird <strongs number="247">up</strongs>thy <strongs number="4975">loins</strongs>, and <strongs number="6965">arise</strongs>, and <strongs number="1696">speak</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="6680">command</strongs>thee: be <strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="2865">dismayed</strongs>at their <strongs number="4480 6440">faces</strongs>, <strongs number="6435">lest</strongs>I <strongs number="2865">confound</strongs>thee <strongs number="6440">before</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="589">For</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, I have <strongs number="5414">made</strongs>thee this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>a <strongs number="4013">defensed</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, and an <strongs number="1270">iron</strongs><strongs number="5982">pillar</strongs>, and <strongs number="5178">brazen</strongs><strongs number="2346">walls</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>the <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, against the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, against the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>thereof, against the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>thereof, and against the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And they shall <strongs number="3898">fight</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs>thee; but they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3201">prevail</strongs>against thee; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>thee, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, to <strongs number="5337">deliver</strongs>thee. </verse>
