      <verse number='1'>And <strongs number="310">afterward</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>and <strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>went <strongs number="935">in</strongs>, and <strongs number="559 413">told</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, Let <strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="7971">go</strongs>, that they may hold a <strongs number="2287">feast</strongs>unto me in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4310">Who</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs>I should <strongs number="8085">obey</strongs>his <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>to let <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="7971">go</strongs>? I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="1571 3808">neither</strongs>will I let <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="7971">go</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, The <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of the <strongs number="5680">Hebrews</strongs>hath <strongs number="7122">met</strongs><strongs number="5921">with</strongs>us: let us <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>, we pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>' <strongs number="1870">journey</strongs>into the <strongs number="4057">desert</strongs>, and <strongs number="2076">sacrifice</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>; <strongs number="6435">lest</strongs>he fall <strongs number="6293">upon</strongs>us with <strongs number="1698">pestilence</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>with the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="4100">Wherefore</strongs>do ye, <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>and <strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>, <strongs number="6544">let</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>from their <strongs number="4480 4639">works</strongs>? <strongs number="1980">get</strongs>you unto your <strongs number="5450">burdens</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2005">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="6258">now</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="7227">many</strongs>, and ye make them <strongs number="7673 *853">rest</strongs>from their <strongs number="4480 5450">burdens</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>the <strongs number="1931">same</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5065">taskmasters</strongs>of the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and their <strongs number="7860">officers</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Ye shall <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="3254">more</strongs><strongs number="5414">give</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="8401">straw</strongs>to <strongs number="3835">make</strongs><strongs number="3843">brick</strongs>, as <strongs number="8543 8032">heretofore</strongs>: let <strongs number="1992">them</strongs><strongs number="1980">go</strongs>and <strongs number="7197">gather</strongs><strongs number="8401">straw</strongs>for themselves. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And the <strongs number="4971">tale</strongs>of the <strongs number="3843">bricks</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs>did <strongs number="6213">make</strongs><strongs number="8543 8032">heretofore</strongs>, ye shall <strongs number="7760">lay</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>them; ye shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1639">diminish</strongs><em> aught </em><strongs number="4480">thereof</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><em> be </em><strongs number="7503">idle</strongs>; <strongs number="5921 3651">therefore</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="6817">cry</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Let us <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><em> and </em><strongs number="2076">sacrifice</strongs>to our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Let there more work be <strongs number="3513 5656">laid</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>, that they may <strongs number="6213">labor</strongs>therein; and let them <strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="8159">regard</strongs><strongs number="8267">vain</strongs><strongs number="1697">words</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And the <strongs number="5065">taskmasters</strongs>of the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>, and their <strongs number="7860">officers</strongs>, and they <strongs number="559">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, I will <strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="5414">give</strongs>you <strongs number="8401">straw</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="1980">Go</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">get</strongs>you <strongs number="8401">straw</strongs><strongs number="4480 834">where</strongs>ye can <strongs number="4672">find</strongs>it: <strongs number="3588">yet</strongs><strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="1697">aught</strongs>of your <strongs number="4480 5656">work</strongs>shall be <strongs number="1639">diminished</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>So the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>were scattered <strongs number="6327">abroad</strongs>throughout <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>to <strongs number="7197">gather</strongs><strongs number="7179">stubble</strongs>instead of <strongs number="8401">straw</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And the <strongs number="5065">taskmasters</strongs><strongs number="213">hasted</strongs><em> them </em>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3615">Fulfill</strongs>your <strongs number="4639">works</strongs>, <em> your </em><strongs number="3117 3117">daily</strongs><strongs number="1697">tasks</strongs>, as <strongs number="834">when</strongs>there <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="8401">straw</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And the <strongs number="7860">officers</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>'s <strongs number="5065">taskmasters</strongs>had <strongs number="7760">set</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>them, were <strongs number="5221">beaten</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="559">demanded</strongs>, <strongs number="4069">Wherefore</strongs>have ye <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3615">fulfilled</strongs>your <strongs number="2706">task</strongs>in making <strongs number="3835">brick</strongs><strongs number="1571">both</strongs><strongs number="8543">yesterday</strongs><strongs number="1571">and</strongs><strongs number="3117">today</strongs>, as <strongs number="8543 8032">heretofore</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='15'>Then the <strongs number="7860">officers</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>and <strongs number="6817">cried</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">Wherefore</strongs><strongs number="6213">dealest</strongs>thou <strongs number="3541">thus</strongs>with thy <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='16'>There is <strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="8401">straw</strongs><strongs number="5414">given</strongs>unto thy <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>, and they <strongs number="559">say</strongs>to us, <strongs number="6213">Make</strongs><strongs number="3843">brick</strongs>: and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, thy <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="5221">beaten</strongs>; but the <strongs number="2398">fault</strongs><em> is </em>in thine own <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>But he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="859">Ye</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="7503">idle</strongs>, <em> ye </em><em> are </em><strongs number="7503">idle</strongs>: <strongs number="5921 3651">therefore</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="559">say</strongs>, Let us <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><em> and </em>do <strongs number="2076">sacrifice</strongs>to the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>therefore <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="5647">work</strongs>; for there shall <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="8401">straw</strongs>be <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>you, yet shall ye <strongs number="5414">deliver</strongs>the <strongs number="8506">tale</strongs>of <strongs number="3843">bricks</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And the <strongs number="7860">officers</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>did <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><em> that </em>they <em> were </em>in <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><em> case </em>, after it was <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Ye shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1639">minish</strongs><em> aught </em>from your <strongs number="4480 3843">bricks</strongs>of your <strongs number="3117 3117">daily</strongs><strongs number="1697">task</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And they <strongs number="6293">met</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>and <strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>, who <strongs number="5324">stood</strongs>in the <strongs number="7125">way</strongs>, as they came <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">from</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And they <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7200">look</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>you, and <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs>; <strongs number="834">because</strongs>ye have made <strongs number="*853"></strongs>our <strongs number="7381">savor</strongs>to be <strongs number="887">abhorred</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>of <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>of his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>, to <strongs number="5414">put</strongs>a <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>in their <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>to <strongs number="2026">slay</strongs>us. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs><strongs number="7725">returned</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">wherefore</strongs>hast thou <em> so </em>evil <strongs number="7489">entreated</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>? <strongs number="4100">why</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2088">it</strongs><em> that </em>thou hast <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>me? </verse>
      <verse number='23'>For <strongs number="4480 227">since</strongs>I <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>to <strongs number="1696">speak</strongs>in thy <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, he hath done <strongs number="7489">evil</strongs>to <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>; <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>hast thou <strongs number="5337">delivered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>at <strongs number="5337">all</strongs>. </verse>
