      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1984">Praise</strongs>ye the <strongs number="3050">LORD</strongs>. O give <strongs number="3034">thanks</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><em> he </em><em> is </em><strongs number="2896">good</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>his <strongs number="2617">mercy</strongs><em> endureth </em><strongs number="5769">forever</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="4310">Who</strongs>can <strongs number="4448">utter</strongs>the mighty <strongs number="1369">acts</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>? <em> who </em>can show <strongs number="8085">forth</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="8416">praise</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="835">Blessed</strongs><em> are </em>they that <strongs number="8104">keep</strongs><strongs number="4941">judgment</strongs>, <em> and </em>he that <strongs number="6213">doeth</strongs><strongs number="6666">righteousness</strongs>at <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="6256">times</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="2142">Remember</strongs>me, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, with the <strongs number="7522">favor</strongs><em> that </em><em> thou </em><em> bearest </em><em> unto </em>thy <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>: O <strongs number="6485">visit</strongs>me with thy <strongs number="3444">salvation</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='5'>That I may <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>the <strongs number="2896">good</strongs>of thy <strongs number="972">chosen</strongs>, that I may <strongs number="8055">rejoice</strongs>in the <strongs number="8057">gladness</strongs>of thy <strongs number="1471">nation</strongs>, that I may <strongs number="1984">glory</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thine <strongs number="5159">inheritance</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>We have <strongs number="2398">sinned</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>our <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, we have committed <strongs number="5753">iniquity</strongs>, we have done <strongs number="7561">wickedly</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Our <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs><strongs number="7919">understood</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>thy <strongs number="6381">wonders</strongs>in <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>; they <strongs number="2142">remembered</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>of thy <strongs number="2617">mercies</strongs>; but <strongs number="4784">provoked</strongs><em> him </em><strongs number="5921">at</strongs>the <strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>, <em> even </em>at the <strongs number="5488">Red</strongs><strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Nevertheless he <strongs number="3467">saved</strongs>them for his name's <strongs number="4616 8034">sake</strongs>, that he might make <strongs number="*853"></strongs>his mighty <strongs number="1369">power</strongs>to be <strongs number="3045">known</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>He <strongs number="1605">rebuked</strongs>the <strongs number="5488">Red</strongs><strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>also, and it was dried <strongs number="2717">up</strongs>: so he <strongs number="1980">led</strongs>them through the <strongs number="8415">depths</strongs>, as through the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And he <strongs number="3467">saved</strongs>them from the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of him that <strongs number="8130">hated</strongs><em> them </em>, and <strongs number="1350">redeemed</strongs>them from the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="341">enemy</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='16'>They <strongs number="7065">envied</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>also in the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>the <strongs number="6918">saint</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>The <strongs number="776">earth</strongs><strongs number="6605">opened</strongs>and swallowed <strongs number="1104">up</strongs><strongs number="1885">Dathan</strongs>, and <strongs number="3680 5921">covered</strongs>the <strongs number="5712">company</strongs>of <strongs number="48">Abiram</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And a <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>was <strongs number="1197">kindled</strongs>in their <strongs number="5712">company</strongs>; the <strongs number="3852">flame</strongs>burned <strongs number="3857">up</strongs>the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>They <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>a <strongs number="5695">calf</strongs>in <strongs number="2722">Horeb</strongs>, and <strongs number="7812">worshiped</strongs>the molten <strongs number="4541">image</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>Thus they <strongs number="4171">changed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="3519">glory</strongs>into the <strongs number="8403">similitude</strongs>of an <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs>that <strongs number="398">eateth</strongs><strongs number="6212">grass</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>They <strongs number="7911">forgot</strongs><strongs number="410">God</strongs>their <strongs number="3467">savior</strongs>, which had <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>great <strongs number="1419">things</strongs>in <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='22'>Wondrous <strongs number="6381">works</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="2526">Ham</strongs>, <em> and </em>terrible <strongs number="3372">things</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>the <strongs number="5488">Red</strongs><strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>Therefore he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>that he would <strongs number="8045">destroy</strongs>them, had <strongs number="3884">not</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>his <strongs number="972">chosen</strongs><strongs number="5975">stood</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>him in the <strongs number="6556">breach</strongs>, to turn <strongs number="7725">away</strongs>his <strongs number="2534">wrath</strongs>, lest he should <strongs number="4480 7843">destroy</strongs><em> them </em>. </verse>

      <verse number='26'>Therefore he lifted <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>against them, to <strongs number="5307">overthrow</strongs>them in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='27'>To <strongs number="5307">overthrow</strongs>their <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>also among the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>, and to <strongs number="2219">scatter</strongs>them in the <strongs number="776">lands</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='28'>They joined <strongs number="6775">themselves</strongs>also unto <strongs number="1187">Baalpeor</strongs>, and <strongs number="398">ate</strongs>the <strongs number="2077">sacrifices</strongs>of the <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='29'>Thus they provoked <em> him </em>to <strongs number="3707">anger</strongs>with their <strongs number="4611">inventions</strongs>: and the <strongs number="4046">plague</strongs>broke <strongs number="6555">in</strongs>upon them. </verse>
      <verse number='30'>Then stood <strongs number="5975">up</strongs><strongs number="6372">Phinehas</strongs>, and executed <strongs number="6419">judgment</strongs>: and <em> so </em>the <strongs number="4046">plague</strongs>was <strongs number="6113">stayed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='31'>And that was <strongs number="2803">counted</strongs>unto him for <strongs number="6666">righteousness</strongs>unto all <strongs number="1755 1755">generations</strongs><strongs number="5704 5769">forevermore</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='32'>They <strongs number="7107">angered</strongs><em> him </em>also <strongs number="5921">at</strongs>the <strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>of <strongs number="4808">strife</strongs>, so that it went <strongs number="3415">ill</strongs>with <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>for their <strongs number="5668">sakes</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='33'><strongs number="3588">Because</strongs>they <strongs number="4784">provoked</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>, so that he spoke <strongs number="981">unadvisedly</strongs>with his <strongs number="8193">lips</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='34'>They did <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8045">destroy</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5971">nations</strongs>, concerning <strongs number="834">whom</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">commanded</strongs>them: </verse>
      <verse number='35'>But were <strongs number="6148">mingled</strongs>among the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>, and <strongs number="3925">learned</strongs>their <strongs number="4639">works</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='36'>And they <strongs number="5647">served</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="6091">idols</strongs>: which <strongs number="1961">were</strongs>a <strongs number="4170">snare</strongs>unto them. </verse>
      <verse number='37'>Yea, they <strongs number="2076">sacrificed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>and their <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>unto <strongs number="7700">devils</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='38'>And <strongs number="8210">shed</strongs><strongs number="5355">innocent</strongs><strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>, <em> even </em>the <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>of their <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>and of their <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whom</strongs>they <strongs number="2076">sacrificed</strongs>unto the <strongs number="6091">idols</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>: and the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>was <strongs number="2610">polluted</strongs>with <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='39'>Thus were they <strongs number="2930">defiled</strongs>with their own <strongs number="4639">works</strongs>, and went a <strongs number="2181">whoring</strongs>with their own <strongs number="4611">inventions</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='40'>Therefore was the <strongs number="639">wrath</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2734">kindled</strongs>against his <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, insomuch that he <strongs number="8581">abhorred</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his own <strongs number="5159">inheritance</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='41'>And he <strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>them into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>; and they that <strongs number="8130">hated</strongs>them <strongs number="4910">ruled</strongs>over them. </verse>
      <verse number='42'>Their <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>also <strongs number="3905">oppressed</strongs>them, and they were brought into <strongs number="3665">subjection</strongs><strongs number="8478">under</strongs>their <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='43'><strongs number="7227">Many</strongs><strongs number="6471">times</strongs>did he <strongs number="5337">deliver</strongs>them; but <strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="4784">provoked</strongs><em> him </em>with their <strongs number="6098">counsel</strongs>, and were brought <strongs number="4355">low</strongs>for their <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='44'>Nevertheless he <strongs number="7200">regarded</strongs>their <strongs number="6862">affliction</strongs>, when he <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="7440">cry</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='45'>And he <strongs number="2142">remembered</strongs>for them his <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>, and <strongs number="5162">repented</strongs>according to the <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>of his <strongs number="2617">mercies</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='46'>He <strongs number="5414">made</strongs>them also to be <strongs number="7356">pitied</strongs><strongs number="6440">of</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>those that carried them <strongs number="7617">captives</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='47'><strongs number="3467">Save</strongs>us, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and <strongs number="6908">gather</strongs>us from <strongs number="4480">among</strongs>the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>, to give <strongs number="3034">thanks</strongs>unto thy <strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, <em> and </em>to <strongs number="7623">triumph</strongs>in thy <strongs number="8416">praise</strongs>. </verse>
