But <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="3427">tarried</strongs>at <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. And <strongs number="3097">Joab</strongs><strongs number="5221">smote</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="7237">Rabbah</strongs>, and <strongs number="2040">destroyed</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5850">crown</strongs>of their <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 5921">off</strongs>his <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>, and <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>it to <strongs number="4948">weigh</strongs>a <strongs number="3603">talent</strongs>of <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>, and <em> there </em><em> were </em><strongs number="3368">precious</strongs><strongs number="68">stones</strongs>in it; and it was <strongs number="1961">set</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>'s <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>: and he brought also exceeding much spoil <strongs number="3318 3966 7235 7998">out</strongs>of the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='6'>And yet <strongs number="5750">again</strongs>there <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="4421">war</strongs>at <strongs number="1661">Gath</strongs>, where <strongs number="1961">was</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <em> great </em><strongs number="4060">stature</strongs>, whose fingers and <strongs number="676">toes</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="702">four</strongs>and <strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs>, <strongs number="8337">six</strongs><em> on </em><em> each </em><em> hand </em>, and <strongs number="8337">six</strongs><em> on </em><em> each </em><em> foot </em>: and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>was the <strongs number="3205">son</strongs>of the <strongs number="7497">giant</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>But when he <strongs number="2778">defied</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="8092">Shimea</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>'s <strongs number="251">brother</strongs><strongs number="5221">slew</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="411">These</strongs>were <strongs number="3205">born</strongs>unto the <strongs number="7497">giant</strongs>in <strongs number="1661">Gath</strongs>; and they <strongs number="5307">fell</strongs>by the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, and by the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>. </verse>
