      <verse number='2'>And he <strongs number="6213">wrought</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="7535">but</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>like his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, and like his <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>: for he put <strongs number="5493">away</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4676">image</strongs>of <strongs number="1168">Baal</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>had <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='5'>But it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>was <strongs number="4194">dead</strongs>, that the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs><strongs number="6586">rebelled</strongs>against the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="3088">Jehoram</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 8111">Samaria</strongs>the <strongs number="1931">same</strongs><strongs number="3117">time</strongs>, and <strongs number="6485">numbered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>

And he <strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, The <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>through the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>of <strongs number="123">Edom</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>So the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="123">Edom</strongs>: and they fetched a <strongs number="5437">compass</strongs>of <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>' <strongs number="1870">journey</strongs>: and there <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>for the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>, and for the <strongs number="929">cattle</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="7272">followed</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="162">Alas</strongs>! <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>together, to <strongs number="5414">deliver</strongs>them into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>! </verse>
      <verse number='11'>But <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> Is </em><em> there </em><strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="6311">here</strongs>a <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, that we may <strongs number="1875">inquire</strongs>of <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">by</strongs>him? And <strongs number="259">one</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of Israel's <strongs number="4480 5650 3478">servants</strongs><strongs number="6030">answered</strongs>and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="6311">Here</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="8202">Shaphat</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="3332">poured</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>the <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>of <strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, The <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3426">is</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him. So the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>and the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="123">Edom</strongs>went <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs>have I to do with thee? <strongs number="1980">get</strongs>thee <strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>of thy <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, and <strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>of thy <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>.       <verse number='14'>And <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> As </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs><strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>, <strongs number="6440">before</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>I <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">surely</strongs>, were it <strongs number="3884">not</strongs>that <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="5375">regard</strongs>the <strongs number="6440">presence</strongs>of <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, I would not <strongs number="5027">look</strongs><strongs number="413">toward</strongs>thee, <strongs number="518">nor</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>But <strongs number="6258">now</strongs><strongs number="3947">bring</strongs>me a <strongs number="5059">minstrel</strongs>. And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when the <strongs number="5059">minstrel</strongs><strongs number="5059">played</strongs>, that the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="6213">Make</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5158">valley</strongs>full of <strongs number="1356 1356">ditches</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, Ye shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="7307">wind</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall ye <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="1653">rain</strongs>; yet <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="5158">valley</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs>with <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, that ye may <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs>, both <strongs number="859">ye</strongs>, and your <strongs number="4735">cattle</strongs>, and your <strongs number="929">beasts</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="2063">this</strongs>is <em> but </em>a light <strongs number="7043">thing</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: he will <strongs number="5414">deliver</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4124">Moabites</strongs>also into your <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And ye shall <strongs number="5221">smite</strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="4013">fenced</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="4004">choice</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="5307">fell</strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="2896">good</strongs><strongs number="6086">tree</strongs>, and <strongs number="5640">stop</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="4599">wells</strongs>of <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, and <strongs number="3510">mar</strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="2896">good</strongs>piece of <strongs number="2513">land</strongs>with <strongs number="68">stones</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in the <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs>, when the meat <strongs number="4503">offering</strongs>was <strongs number="5927">offered</strongs>, that, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, there <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>by the <strongs number="4480 1870">way</strongs>of <strongs number="123">Edom</strongs>, and the <strongs number="776">country</strongs>was <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And when <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4124">Moabites</strongs><strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>were come <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>to <strongs number="3898">fight</strongs>against them, they gathered <strongs number="6817 4480 3605">all</strongs>that were able to put <strongs number="2296">on</strongs><strongs number="2290">armor</strongs>, and <strongs number="4605">upward</strongs>, and <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="1366">border</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And they rose up <strongs number="7925">early</strongs>in the <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8121">sun</strongs><strongs number="2224">shone</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4124">Moabites</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>on the other <strongs number="4480 5048">side</strongs><em> as </em><strongs number="122">red</strongs>as <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='23'>And they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2088">This</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>: the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>are surely <strongs number="2717 2717">slain</strongs>, and they have <strongs number="5221">smitten</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="7453">another</strongs>: <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>therefore, <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, to the <strongs number="7998">spoil</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>And when they <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, the <strongs number="3478">Israelites</strongs>rose <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>and <strongs number="5221">smote</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4124">Moabites</strongs>, so that they <strongs number="5127">fled</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">before</strongs>them: but they <strongs number="5221">went</strongs>forward <strongs number="5221">smiting</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4124">Moabites</strongs>, even in <em> their </em>country. </verse>
