      <verse number='2'>Then <strongs number="348">Jezebel</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>a <strongs number="4397">messenger</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">So</strongs>let the <strongs number="430">gods</strongs><strongs number="6213">do</strongs><em> to </em><em> me </em>, and <strongs number="3254">more</strongs><strongs number="3541">also</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">if</strongs>I <strongs number="7760">make</strongs>not <strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="5315">life</strongs>as the <strongs number="5315">life</strongs>of <strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>them by <strongs number="4279">tomorrow</strongs>about this <strongs number="6256">time</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And when he <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><em> that </em>, he <strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="413">for</strongs>his <strongs number="5315">life</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs>to <strongs number="884">Beer</strongs>-sheba, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> belongeth </em>to <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and <strongs number="5117">left</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="5288">servant</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='17'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <em> that </em>him that <strongs number="4422">escapeth</strongs>the <strongs number="4480 2719">sword</strongs>of <strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs>shall <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs><strongs number="4191">slay</strongs>: and him that <strongs number="4422">escapeth</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 2719">sword</strongs>of <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs>shall <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="4191">slay</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>Yet I have <strongs number="7604">left</strongs><em> me </em><strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1290">knees</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3766">bowed</strongs>unto <strongs number="1168">Baal</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>hath <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5401">kissed</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>So he <strongs number="1980">departed</strongs><strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>, and <strongs number="4672">found</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="8202">Shaphat</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">who</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="2790">plowing</strongs><em> with </em><strongs number="8147 6240">twelve</strongs><strongs number="6776">yoke</strongs><em> of </em><em> oxen </em><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>him, and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>with the <strongs number="8147 6240">twelfth</strongs>: and <strongs number="452">Elijah</strongs><strongs number="5674">passed</strongs><strongs number="413">by</strongs>him, and <strongs number="7993">cast</strongs>his <strongs number="155">mantle</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs>him. </verse>
