      <verse number='2'>And she <strongs number="3254">again</strongs><strongs number="3205">bore</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="251">brother</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1893">Abel</strongs>. And <strongs number="1893">Abel</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>a <strongs number="7462">keeper</strongs>of <strongs number="6629">sheep</strongs>, but <strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>a <strongs number="5647">tiller</strongs>of the <strongs number="127">ground</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And in <strongs number="4480 7093">process</strongs>of <strongs number="3117">time</strongs>it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, that <strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 6529">fruit</strongs>of the <strongs number="127">ground</strongs>an <strongs number="4503">offering</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="1893">Abel</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 1062">firstlings</strongs>of his <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>and of the <strongs number="4480 2459">fat</strongs>thereof. And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="8159">respect</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="1893">Abel</strongs>and <strongs number="413">to</strongs>his <strongs number="4503">offering</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='5'>But <strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs>and <strongs number="413">to</strongs>his <strongs number="4503">offering</strongs>he had not <strongs number="8159 3808">respect</strongs>. And <strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs>was <strongs number="3966">very</strongs><strongs number="2734">wroth</strongs>, and his <strongs number="6440">countenance</strongs><strongs number="5307">fell</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">Why</strongs>art thou <strongs number="2734">wroth</strongs>? and <strongs number="4100">why</strongs>is thy <strongs number="6440">countenance</strongs><strongs number="5307">fallen</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>thou doest <strongs number="3190">well</strongs>, shalt thou <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="7613">accepted</strongs>? and <strongs number="518">if</strongs>thou doest <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3190">well</strongs>, <strongs number="2403">sin</strongs><strongs number="7257">lieth</strongs>at the <strongs number="6607">door</strongs>. And <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee <em> shall </em><em> be </em>his <strongs number="8669">desire</strongs>, and <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>shalt <strongs number="4910">rule</strongs>over him. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs><strongs number="559">talked</strongs><strongs number="413">with</strongs><strongs number="1893">Abel</strongs>his <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>: and it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when they <strongs number="1961">were</strongs>in the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>, that <strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs>rose <strongs number="6965">up</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs><strongs number="1893">Abel</strongs>his <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>, and <strongs number="2026">slew</strongs>him. </verse>

      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, My <strongs number="5771">punishment</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="1419">greater</strongs>than I can <strongs number="4480 5375">bear</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="2005">Behold</strongs>, thou hast driven me <strongs number="1644 *853">out</strongs>this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs>the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>of the <strongs number="127">earth</strongs>; and from thy <strongs number="4480 6440">face</strongs>shall I be <strongs number="5641">hid</strongs>; and I shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="5128">fugitive</strongs>and a <strongs number="5110">vagabond</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>; and it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <em> that </em>every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs>that <strongs number="4672">findeth</strongs>me shall <strongs number="2026">slay</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3605">whosoever</strongs><strongs number="2026">slayeth</strongs><strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs>, vengeance shall be <strongs number="5358">taken</strongs>on him <strongs number="7659">sevenfold</strongs>. And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7760">set</strongs>a <strongs number="226">mark</strongs>upon <strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs>, <strongs number="1115">lest</strongs><strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="4672">finding</strongs>him should <strongs number="5221">kill</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And <strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 6440">presence</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="5113">Nod</strongs>, on the <strongs number="6926">east</strongs>of <strongs number="5731">Eden</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And <strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs><strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>; and she <strongs number="2029">conceived</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bore</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2585">Enoch</strongs>: and he <strongs number="1961 1129">built</strongs>a <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, after the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, <strongs number="2585">Enoch</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='19'>And <strongs number="3929">Lamech</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs>unto him <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="802">wives</strongs>: the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="259">one</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="5711">Adah</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="8145">other</strongs><strongs number="6741">Zillah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And <strongs number="5711">Adah</strongs><strongs number="3205">bore</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2989">Jabal</strongs>: <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>the <strongs number="1">father</strongs>of such as <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>in <strongs number="168">tents</strongs>, and <em> of </em><em> such </em><em> as </em><em> have </em><strongs number="4735">cattle</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And his <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>'s <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="3106">Jubal</strongs>: <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>the <strongs number="1">father</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>such as <strongs number="8610">handle</strongs>the <strongs number="3658">harp</strongs>and <strongs number="5748">organ</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And <strongs number="6741">Zillah</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">she</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="3205">bore</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="8423">Tubal</strongs>-cain, an <strongs number="3913">instructor</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="2794">artificer</strongs>in <strongs number="5178">brass</strongs>and <strongs number="1270">iron</strongs>: and the <strongs number="269">sister</strongs>of <strongs number="8423">Tubal</strongs>-cain <em> was </em><strongs number="5279">Naamah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>And <strongs number="3929">Lamech</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto his <strongs number="802">wives</strongs>, <strongs number="5711">Adah</strongs>and <strongs number="6741">Zillah</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>my <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>; ye <strongs number="802">wives</strongs>of <strongs number="3929">Lamech</strongs>, <strongs number="238">hearken</strongs>unto my <strongs number="565">speech</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I have <strongs number="2026">slain</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>to my <strongs number="6482">wounding</strongs>, and a young <strongs number="3206">man</strongs>to my <strongs number="2250">hurt</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs><strongs number="7014">Cain</strongs>shall be <strongs number="5358">avenged</strongs><strongs number="7659">sevenfold</strongs>, truly <strongs number="3929">Lamech</strongs><strongs number="7657">seventy</strongs>and <strongs number="7651">sevenfold</strongs>. </verse>
