And <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="40">Abimelech</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs>unto <strongs number="1642">Gerar</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Go not <strongs number="3381 408">down</strongs>into <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>; <strongs number="7931">dwell</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I shall <strongs number="559">tell</strongs>thee <strongs number="413">of</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='5'><strongs number="6118">Because</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs><strongs number="8085">obeyed</strongs>my <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>, and <strongs number="8104">kept</strongs>my <strongs number="4931">charge</strongs>, my <strongs number="4687">commandments</strongs>, my <strongs number="2708">statutes</strongs>, and my <strongs number="8451">laws</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>in <strongs number="1642">Gerar</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="40">Abimelech</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, of a <strongs number="389">surety</strongs><strongs number="1931">she</strongs><em> is </em>thy <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>: and <strongs number="349">how</strongs><strongs number="559">saidst</strongs>thou, <strongs number="1931">She</strongs><em> is </em>my <strongs number="269">sister</strongs>?       <verse number='10'>And <strongs number="40">Abimelech</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2063">this</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>unto us? <strongs number="259">one</strongs>of the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>might <strongs number="4592">lightly</strongs>have <strongs number="7901">lain</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>thy <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, and thou shouldest have <strongs number="935">brought</strongs><strongs number="817">guiltiness</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>us. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="40">Abimelech</strongs><strongs number="6680">charged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><em> his </em><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, He that <strongs number="5060">toucheth</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>or his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>shall surely be put to <strongs number="4191 4191">death</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>Then <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs><strongs number="2232">sowed</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, and <strongs number="4672">received</strongs>in the <strongs number="1931">same</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>a <strongs number="3967 8180">hundredfold</strongs>: and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>waxed <strongs number="1431">great</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="1980">forward</strongs>, and <strongs number="1432">grew</strongs><strongs number="5704 3588">until</strongs>he became very <strongs number="1431 3966">great</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='14'>For he <strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="4735">possession</strongs>of <strongs number="6629">flocks</strongs>, and <strongs number="4735">possession</strongs>of <strongs number="1241">herds</strongs>, and great <strongs number="7227">store</strongs>of <strongs number="5657">servants</strongs>: and the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs><strongs number="7065">envied</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>For <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="875">wells</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>'s <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>had <strongs number="2658">digged</strongs>in the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of <strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs>had <strongs number="5640">stopped</strongs>them, and <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs>them with <strongs number="6083">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And <strongs number="40">Abimelech</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs><strongs number="4480 5973">from</strongs>us; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thou art much <strongs number="6105 3966">mightier</strongs><strongs number="4480">than</strongs>we. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs><strongs number="1980">departed</strongs><strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>, and pitched his <strongs number="2583">tent</strongs>in the <strongs number="5158">valley</strongs>of <strongs number="1642">Gerar</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs><strongs number="2658">digged</strongs><strongs number="7725">again</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="875">wells</strongs>of <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>they had <strongs number="2658">digged</strongs>in the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of <strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>; for the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs>had <strongs number="5640">stopped</strongs>them <strongs number="310">after</strongs>the <strongs number="4194">death</strongs>of <strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>: and he <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>their <strongs number="8034">names</strongs>after the <strongs number="8034">names</strongs>by <strongs number="834">which</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>had <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>'s <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs><strongs number="2658">digged</strongs>in the <strongs number="5158">valley</strongs>, and <strongs number="4672">found</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>a <strongs number="875">well</strongs>of <strongs number="2416">springing</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And the <strongs number="7462">herdsmen</strongs>of <strongs number="1642">Gerar</strongs>did <strongs number="7378">strive</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs><strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>'s <strongs number="7462">herdsmen</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="4325">water</strongs><em> is </em>ours: and he <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="875">well</strongs><strongs number="6230">Esek</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>they <strongs number="6229">strove</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him. </verse>

      <verse number='22'>And he <strongs number="6275">removed</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>, and <strongs number="2658">digged</strongs><strongs number="312">another</strongs><strongs number="875">well</strongs>; and <strongs number="5921">for</strongs>that they <strongs number="7378">strove</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>: and he <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of it <strongs number="7344">Rehoboth</strongs>; and he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="6258">now</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath made <strongs number="7337">room</strongs>for us, and we shall be <strongs number="6509">fruitful</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='26'>Then <strongs number="40">Abimelech</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him from <strongs number="4480 1642">Gerar</strongs>, and <strongs number="276">Ahuzzath</strongs>one of his <strongs number="4828">friends</strongs>, and <strongs number="6369">Phichol</strongs>the chief <strongs number="8269">captain</strongs>of his <strongs number="6635">army</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>And <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="4069">Wherefore</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs>ye <strongs number="413">to</strongs>me, seeing <strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="8130">hate</strongs>me, and have sent me <strongs number="7971">away</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>you? </verse>
      <verse number='28'>And they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, We saw <strongs number="7200 7200">certainly</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thee: and we <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Let there <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs>an <strongs number="423">oath</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>us, <em> even </em><strongs number="996">between</strongs>us and thee, and let us <strongs number="3772">make</strongs>a <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thee; </verse>
