      <verse number='15'>But <em> also </em>thou shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="2617">kindness</strongs><strongs number="4480 5973">from</strongs>my <strongs number="1004">house</strongs><strongs number="5704 5769">forever</strongs>: no, <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>when the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>every <strongs number="376">one</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 5921 6440">face</strongs>of the <strongs number="127">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>So <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="3772">made</strongs><em> a </em><em> covenant </em><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, <em> saying </em>, Let the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>even <strongs number="1245">require</strongs><em> it </em>at the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>'s <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs>caused <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>to <strongs number="7650">swear</strongs><strongs number="3254">again</strongs>, because he <strongs number="160">loved</strongs>him: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he <strongs number="157">loved</strongs>him as he <strongs number="160">loved</strongs>his own <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>Then <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>to David, <strongs number="4279">Tomorrow</strongs><em> is </em>the new <strongs number="2320">moon</strongs>: and thou shalt be <strongs number="6485">missed</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>thy <strongs number="4186">seat</strongs>will be <strongs number="6485">empty</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='23'>And <em> as </em><em> touching </em>the <strongs number="1697">matter</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>and <strongs number="589">I</strongs>have <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs>of, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><em> be </em><strongs number="996">between</strongs>thee and me <strongs number="5704 5769">forever</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>So <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>hid <strongs number="5641">himself</strongs>in the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>: and when the new <strongs number="2320">moon</strongs>was <strongs number="1961">come</strongs>, the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>sat him <strongs number="3427">down</strongs>to <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="3899">meat</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='38'>And <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="7121">cried</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>the <strongs number="5288">lad</strongs>, Make <strongs number="2363">speed</strongs>, <strongs number="4120">haste</strongs>, <strongs number="5975">stay</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>. And <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs>'s <strongs number="5288">lad</strongs>gathered <strongs number="3950">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="2678">arrows</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>his <strongs number="113">master</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='39'>But the <strongs number="5288">lad</strongs><strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>any <strongs number="3972">thing</strongs>: <strongs number="389">only</strongs><strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs>and <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">matter</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='40'>And <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="5414">gave</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="3627">artillery</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="834">his</strongs><strongs number="5288">lad</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>, <strongs number="935">carry</strongs><em> them </em>to the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='42'>And <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>to <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>in <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>, forasmuch <strongs number="834">as</strongs>we have <strongs number="7650">sworn</strongs><strongs number="8147">both</strongs>of <strongs number="587">us</strongs>in the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>me and thee, and <strongs number="996">between</strongs>my <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>and thy <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs><strongs number="5704 5769">forever</strongs>. And he <strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>and <strongs number="1980">departed</strongs>: and <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="935">went</strongs>into the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>. </verse>
