      <verse number='2'>But <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>'s <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="2654">delighted</strongs><strongs number="3966">much</strongs>in <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>: and <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="5046">told</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>my <strongs number="1">father</strongs><strongs number="1245">seeketh</strongs>to <strongs number="4191">kill</strongs>thee: <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>therefore, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, take heed to <strongs number="8104">thyself</strongs>until the <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">abide</strongs>in a <strongs number="5643">secret</strongs><em> place </em>, and hide <strongs number="2244">thyself</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs>unto the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs>: and <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs><strongs number="7650">swore</strongs>, <em> As </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>, he shall <strongs number="518">not</strongs>be <strongs number="4191">slain</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, and <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="5046">showed</strongs>him <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="428">those</strongs><strongs number="1697">things</strongs>. And <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>, and he <strongs number="1961">was</strongs>in his <strongs number="6440">presence</strongs>, as in times <strongs number="8032 865">past</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And there <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="4421">war</strongs><strongs number="3254">again</strongs>: and <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>, and <strongs number="3898">fought</strongs>with the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs>, and <strongs number="5221">slew</strongs>them with a <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="4347">slaughter</strongs>; and they <strongs number="5127">fled</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">from</strongs>him. </verse>

      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="4324">Michal</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>an <strongs number="8655">image</strongs>, and <strongs number="7760">laid</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="413">in</strongs>the <strongs number="4296">bed</strongs>, and <strongs number="7760">put</strongs>a <strongs number="3523">pillow</strongs>of <strongs number="5795">goats</strongs>' <em> hair </em>for his <strongs number="4763">bolster</strongs>, and <strongs number="3680">covered</strongs><em> it </em>with a <strongs number="899">cloth</strongs>. </verse>
