      <verse number='1'>Then went Boaz <strongs number="5927 1162">up</strongs>to the <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>, and sat him <strongs number="3427">down</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>: and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="1350">kinsman</strongs>of whom <strongs number="1162">Boaz</strongs><strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs>came <strongs number="5674">by</strongs>; unto <strongs number="834">whom</strongs>he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Ho, <strongs number="6423">such</strongs>a <strongs number="492">one</strongs>! turn <strongs number="5493">aside</strongs>, sit <strongs number="3427">down</strongs><strongs number="6311">here</strongs>. And he turned <strongs number="5493">aside</strongs>, and sat <strongs number="3427">down</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And he <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 2205">elders</strongs>of the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Sit ye <strongs number="3427">down</strongs><strongs number="6311">here</strongs>. And they sat <strongs number="3427">down</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto the <strongs number="1350">kinsman</strongs>, <strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>, that is come <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 7704">country</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, <strongs number="4376">selleth</strongs>a <strongs number="2513">parcel</strongs>of <strongs number="7704">land</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> was </em>our <strongs number="251">brother</strongs><strongs number="458">Elimelech</strongs>'s: </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="559">thought</strongs>to <strongs number="1540 241">advertise</strongs>thee, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="7069">Buy</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5048">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>, and <strongs number="5048">before</strongs>the <strongs number="2205">elders</strongs>of my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. <strongs number="518">If</strongs>thou wilt <strongs number="1350">redeem</strongs><em> it </em>, <strongs number="1350">redeem</strongs><em> it </em>: but <strongs number="518">if</strongs>thou wilt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1350">redeem</strongs><em> it, </em><em> then </em><strongs number="5046">tell</strongs>me, that I may <strongs number="3045">know</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">none</strongs>to <strongs number="1350">redeem</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="2108">beside</strongs>thee; and <strongs number="595">I</strongs><em> am </em><strongs number="310">after</strongs>thee.       <verse number='5'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="1162">Boaz</strongs>, What <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>thou <strongs number="7069">buyest</strongs>the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>, thou must <strongs number="7069">buy</strongs><em> it </em>also <strongs number="4480 854">of</strongs><strongs number="7327">Ruth</strongs>the <strongs number="4125">Moabitess</strongs>, the <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>of the <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs>, to raise <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="5159">inheritance</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And the <strongs number="1350">kinsman</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, I <strongs number="3808 3201">cannot</strongs><strongs number="1350">redeem</strongs><em> it </em>for myself, <strongs number="6435">lest</strongs>I <strongs number="7843">mar</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>mine own <strongs number="5159">inheritance</strongs>: <strongs number="1350">redeem</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1353">right</strongs>to thyself; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I <strongs number="3808 3201">cannot</strongs><strongs number="1350">redeem</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Now <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><em> was </em><em> the </em><em> manner </em>in former <strongs number="6440">time</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="5921">concerning</strongs><strongs number="1353">redeeming</strongs>and <strongs number="5921">concerning</strongs><strongs number="8545">changing</strongs>, for to <strongs number="6965">confirm</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="1697">things</strongs>; a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>plucked <strongs number="8025">off</strongs>his <strongs number="5275">shoe</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">gave</strongs><em> it </em>to his <strongs number="7453">neighbor</strongs>: and <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><em> was </em>a <strongs number="8584">testimony</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Therefore the <strongs number="1350">kinsman</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto <strongs number="1162">Boaz</strongs>, <strongs number="7069">Buy</strongs><em> it </em>for thee. So he drew <strongs number="8025">off</strongs>his <strongs number="5275">shoe</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="1162">Boaz</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto the <strongs number="2205">elders</strongs>, and <em> unto </em><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="859">Ye</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="5707">witnesses</strongs>this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>I have <strongs number="7069">bought</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="458">Elimelech</strongs>'s, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="3630">Chilion</strongs>'s and <strongs number="4248">Mahlon</strongs>'s, of the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="1571">Moreover</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="7327">Ruth</strongs>the <strongs number="4125">Moabitess</strongs>, the <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>of <strongs number="4248">Mahlon</strongs>, have I <strongs number="7069">purchased</strongs>to be my <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, to raise <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="5159">inheritance</strongs>, that the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs>be <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 5973">among</strongs>his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and from the <strongs number="4480 8179">gate</strongs>of his <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>: <strongs number="859">ye</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="5707">witnesses</strongs>this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>

The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5414">make</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>that is <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>thine <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>like <strongs number="7354">Rachel</strongs>and like <strongs number="3812">Leah</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="8147">two</strongs>did <strongs number="1129">build</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: and <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>thou <strongs number="2428">worthily</strongs>in <strongs number="672">Ephratah</strongs>, and be <strongs number="7121 8034">famous</strongs>in <strongs number="1035">Bethlehem</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And let thy <strongs number="1004">house</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs>like the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="6557">Pharez</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whom</strongs><strongs number="8559">Tamar</strongs><strongs number="3205">bore</strongs>unto <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>thee <strongs number="4480">of</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs>young <strongs number="5291">woman</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>So <strongs number="1162">Boaz</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="7327">Ruth</strongs>, and she <strongs number="1961">was</strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>: and when he <strongs number="935">went</strongs>in <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her, the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>her <strongs number="2032">conception</strongs>, and she <strongs number="3205">bore</strongs>a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And the <strongs number="802">women</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>, <strongs number="1288">Blessed</strongs><em> be </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>hath <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7673">left</strongs>thee this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>without a <strongs number="1350">kinsman</strongs>, that his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>may be <strongs number="7121">famous</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And he shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>unto thee a <strongs number="7725">restorer</strongs>of <em> thy </em><strongs number="5315">life</strongs>, and a <strongs number="3557">nourisher</strongs>of <strongs number="*853"></strongs>thine old <strongs number="7872">age</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thy <strongs number="3618">daughter</strongs>-in-law, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="157">loveth</strongs>thee, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>is <strongs number="2896">better</strongs>to thee than <strongs number="4480 7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>, hath <strongs number="3205">born</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And <strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3206">child</strongs>, and <strongs number="7896">laid</strongs>it in her <strongs number="2436">bosom</strongs>, and <strongs number="1961">became</strongs><strongs number="539">nurse</strongs>unto it. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And the women her <strongs number="7934">neighbors</strongs><strongs number="7121">gave</strongs>it a <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, There is a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="3205">born</strongs>to <strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>; and they <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><strongs number="5744">Obed</strongs>: <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="1">father</strongs>of <strongs number="3448">Jesse</strongs>, the <strongs number="1">father</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>. </verse>
