      <verse number='1'>And the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="6213">did</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="3254">again</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs>them into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs><strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And there <strongs number="1961">was</strongs>a <strongs number="259">certain</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 6681">Zorah</strongs>, of the <strongs number="4480 4940">family</strongs>of the <strongs number="1839">Danites</strongs>, whose <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs>; and his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="6135">barren</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bore</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs>, <strongs number="859">thou</strongs><em> art </em><strongs number="6135">barren</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bearest</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>: but thou shalt <strongs number="2029">conceive</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bear</strongs>a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>therefore <strongs number="8104">beware</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, and <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="3196">wine</strongs>nor strong <strongs number="7941">drink</strongs>, and <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="2931">unclean</strongs><em> thing </em>: </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, thou shalt <strongs number="2029">conceive</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bear</strongs>a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>; and <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="4177">razor</strongs>shall <strongs number="5927">come</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>his <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="5288">child</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="5139">Nazarite</strongs>unto <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>the <strongs number="990">womb</strongs>: and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>shall <strongs number="2490">begin</strongs>to <strongs number="3467">deliver</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Then the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>and <strongs number="559">told</strongs>her <strongs number="376">husband</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, A <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, and his <strongs number="4758">countenance</strongs><em> was </em>like the <strongs number="4758">countenance</strongs>of an <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="3966">very</strongs><strongs number="3372">terrible</strongs>: but I <strongs number="7592">asked</strongs>him <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="335 4480 2088">whence</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> was </em>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="5046">told</strongs>he me his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='7'>But he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto me, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, thou shalt <strongs number="2029">conceive</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bear</strongs>a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>; and <strongs number="6258">now</strongs><strongs number="8354">drink</strongs><strongs number="408">no</strongs><strongs number="3196">wine</strongs>nor strong <strongs number="7941">drink</strongs>, <strongs number="408">neither</strongs><strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="2932">unclean</strongs><em> thing </em>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="5288">child</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="5139">Nazarite</strongs>to <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>the <strongs number="990">womb</strongs><strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of his <strongs number="4194">death</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Then <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs><strongs number="6279 413">entreated</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="994">O</strongs>my <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs>, let the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou didst <strongs number="7971">send</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="5750">again</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>us, and <strongs number="3384">teach</strongs>us <strongs number="4100">what</strongs>we shall <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>unto the <strongs number="5288">child</strongs>that shall be <strongs number="3205">born</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs>to the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs>; and the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="5750">again</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>as <strongs number="1931">she</strongs><strongs number="3427">sat</strongs>in the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>: but <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs>her <strongs number="376">husband</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>her. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>made <strongs number="4116">haste</strongs>, and <strongs number="7323">ran</strongs>, and <strongs number="5046">showed</strongs>her <strongs number="376">husband</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>hath <strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me the <em> other </em><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs><strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <em> Art </em><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="1696">spakest</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>? And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>let thy <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>come to <strongs number="935">pass</strongs>. <strongs number="4100">How</strongs>shall we <strongs number="1961 4941">order</strongs>the <strongs number="5288">child</strongs>, and <em> how </em>shall we <strongs number="4639">do</strongs>unto him? </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs>, Of <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>let her <strongs number="8104">beware</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>She may <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="398">eat</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 3605">any</strongs><em> thing </em><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="3318">cometh</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 1612">vine</strongs>, <strongs number="408">neither</strongs>let her <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs><strongs number="3196">wine</strongs>or strong <strongs number="7941">drink</strongs>, <strongs number="408">nor</strongs><strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="2932">unclean</strongs><em> thing </em>: <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>her let her <strongs number="8104">observe</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, let us <strongs number="6113">detain</strongs>thee, until we shall have made <strongs number="6213">ready</strongs>a <strongs number="1423 5795">kid</strongs><strongs number="6440">for</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs>, <strongs number="518">Though</strongs>thou <strongs number="6113">detain</strongs>me, I will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="398">eat</strongs>of thy <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>: and <strongs number="518">if</strongs>thou wilt <strongs number="6213">offer</strongs>a burnt <strongs number="5930">offering</strongs>, thou must <strongs number="5927">offer</strongs>it unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. <strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs><strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> was </em>an <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="4310">What</strongs><em> is </em>thy <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, that <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>thy <strongs number="1697">sayings</strongs>come to <strongs number="935">pass</strongs>we may do thee <strongs number="3513">honor</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="4100">Why</strongs><strongs number="7592">askest</strongs>thou <strongs number="2088">thus</strongs>after my <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, seeing <strongs number="1931">it</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="6383">secret</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='19'>So <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="1423 5795">kid</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>a meat <strongs number="4503">offering</strongs>, and <strongs number="5927">offered</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>a <strongs number="6697">rock</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: and <em> the </em><em> angel </em><strongs number="6213">did</strongs><strongs number="6381">wondrously</strongs>; and <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs>and his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>looked <strongs number="7200">on</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>For it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when the <strongs number="3851">flame</strongs>went <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>toward <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 5921">off</strongs>the <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>, that the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5927">ascended</strongs>in the <strongs number="3851">flame</strongs>of the <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>. And <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs>and his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>looked <strongs number="7200">on</strongs><em> it </em>, and <strongs number="5307">fell</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>their <strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>to the <strongs number="776">ground</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>But the <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>did <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="3254">more</strongs><strongs number="7200">appear</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs>and <strongs number="413">to</strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>. <strongs number="227">Then</strongs><strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs><strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> was </em>an <strongs number="4397">angel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And <strongs number="4495">Manoah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, We shall surely <strongs number="4191 4191">die</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>we have <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>But his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="3863">If</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>were <strongs number="2654">pleased</strongs>to <strongs number="4191">kill</strongs>us, he would <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>have <strongs number="3947">received</strongs>a burnt <strongs number="5930">offering</strongs>and a meat <strongs number="4503">offering</strongs>at our <strongs number="4480 3027">hands</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>would he have <strongs number="7200">showed</strongs>us <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><em> things </em>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs>would as at this <strongs number="6256">time</strongs>have <strongs number="8085">told</strongs>us <em> such </em><em> things </em>as <strongs number="2063">these</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>And the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs><strongs number="3205">bore</strongs>a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><strongs number="8123">Samson</strongs>: and the <strongs number="5288">child</strongs><strongs number="1431">grew</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>And the <strongs number="7307">Spirit</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2490">began</strongs>to <strongs number="6470">move</strongs>him at times in the <strongs number="4264">camp</strongs>of <strongs number="1835">Dan</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs><strongs number="6881">Zorah</strongs>and <strongs number="847">Eshtaol</strongs>. </verse>
