      <verse number='2'><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>my <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>is <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs>; <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>therefore <strongs number="6965">arise</strongs>, go <strongs number="5674">over</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>, <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs>do <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>to them, <em> even </em>to the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3605">Every</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3709">sole</strongs>of your <strongs number="7272">foot</strongs>shall <strongs number="1869">tread</strongs>upon, that have I <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>unto you, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>I <strongs number="1696">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>From the <strongs number="4480 4057">wilderness</strongs>and <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3844">Lebanon</strongs>even <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="5104">river</strongs>, the <strongs number="5104">river</strongs><strongs number="6578">Euphrates</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of the <strongs number="2850">Hittites</strongs>, and <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>toward the going <strongs number="3996">down</strongs>of the <strongs number="8121">sun</strongs>, shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>your <strongs number="1366">coast</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>There shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>any <strongs number="376">man</strongs>be able to <strongs number="3320">stand</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>thee <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of thy <strongs number="2416">life</strongs>: <strongs number="834">as</strongs>I <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>, <em> so </em>I will <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thee: I will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7503">fail</strongs>thee, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="5800">forsake</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Be <strongs number="2388">strong</strongs>and of a good <strongs number="553">courage</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>unto <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>shalt <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>divide for an <strongs number="5157">inheritance</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="7650">swore</strongs>unto their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>to <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="7535">Only</strongs>be thou <strongs number="2388">strong</strongs>and <strongs number="3966">very</strongs><strongs number="553">courageous</strongs>, that thou mayest <strongs number="8104">observe</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>according to <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="8451">law</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>my <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>thee: <strongs number="5493">turn</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>it <em> to </em>the right <strongs number="3225">hand</strongs>or <em> to </em>the <strongs number="8040">left</strongs>, <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>thou mayest <strongs number="7919">prosper</strongs><strongs number="3605 834">whithersoever</strongs>thou <strongs number="1980">goest</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="2088">This</strongs><strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of the <strongs number="8451">law</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="4185">depart</strongs>out of thy <strongs number="4480 6310">mouth</strongs>; but thou shalt <strongs number="1897">meditate</strongs>therein <strongs number="3119">day</strongs>and <strongs number="3915">night</strongs>, <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>thou mayest <strongs number="8104">observe</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>according to <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that is <strongs number="3789">written</strongs>therein: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="227">then</strongs>thou shalt <strongs number="6743">make</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="1870">way</strongs><strongs number="6743">prosperous</strongs>, and <strongs number="227">then</strongs>thou shalt have good <strongs number="7919">success</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='13'><strongs number="2142">Remember</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>the <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>you, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>hath given you <strongs number="5117">rest</strongs>, and hath <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>you <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Your <strongs number="802">wives</strongs>, your little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs>, and your <strongs number="4735">cattle</strongs>, shall <strongs number="3427">remain</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs><strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>you on this <strongs number="5676">side</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>; but <strongs number="859">ye</strongs>shall <strongs number="5674">pass</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>your <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs><strongs number="2571">armed</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the mighty <strongs number="1368">men</strongs>of <strongs number="2428">valor</strongs>, and <strongs number="5826">help</strongs>them; </verse>

      <verse number='16'>And they <strongs number="6030">answered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3091">Joshua</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">All</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>thou <strongs number="6680">commandest</strongs>us we will <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>, and <strongs number="413 3605 834">whithersoever</strongs>thou <strongs number="7971">sendest</strongs>us, we will <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>According as we <strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>in <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">things</strongs>, <strongs number="3651">so</strongs>will we <strongs number="8085">hearken</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee: <strongs number="7535">only</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thee, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>he <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="3605 376 834">Whosoever</strongs><em> he </em><em> be </em>that doth rebel <strongs number="4784">against</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="6310">commandment</strongs>, and will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>hearken <strongs number="8085">unto</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>in <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>thou <strongs number="6680">commandest</strongs>him, he shall be put to <strongs number="4191">death</strongs>: <strongs number="7535">only</strongs>be <strongs number="2388">strong</strongs>and of a good <strongs number="553">courage</strongs>. </verse>
