      <verse number='1'><strongs number="3588">When</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>hath <strongs number="3947">taken</strongs>a <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, and <strongs number="1166">married</strongs>her, and it come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs><strongs number="518">that</strongs>she <strongs number="4672">find</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="2580">favor</strongs>in his <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>he hath <strongs number="4672">found</strongs><strongs number="1697">some</strongs><strongs number="6172">uncleanness</strongs>in her: then let him <strongs number="3789">write</strongs>her a <strongs number="5612">bill</strongs>of <strongs number="3748">divorcement</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><em> it </em>in her <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, and <strongs number="7971">send</strongs>her out of his <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And when she is <strongs number="3318">departed</strongs>out of his <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>, she may <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>and <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="312">another</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>'s <em> wife </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <em> if </em>the <strongs number="314">latter</strongs><strongs number="376">husband</strongs><strongs number="8130">hate</strongs>her, and <strongs number="3789">write</strongs>her a <strongs number="5612">bill</strongs>of <strongs number="3748">divorcement</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">giveth</strongs><em> it </em>in her <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, and <strongs number="7971">sendeth</strongs>her out of his <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>; <strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="3588">if</strongs>the <strongs number="314">latter</strongs><strongs number="376">husband</strongs><strongs number="4191">die</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs>her <em> to </em><em> be </em>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>; </verse>

      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3588">When</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>hath <strongs number="3947">taken</strongs>a <strongs number="2319">new</strongs><strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, he shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>to <strongs number="6635">war</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall he be <strongs number="5674">charged</strongs><strongs number="5921">with</strongs><strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="1697">business</strongs>: <em> but </em>he shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5355">free</strongs>at <strongs number="1004">home</strongs><strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>, and shall cheer <strongs number="8055">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>he hath <strongs number="3947">taken</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="3808">No</strongs>man shall <strongs number="2254">take</strongs>the <strongs number="7347">nether</strongs>or the <strongs number="7393">upper</strongs><strongs number="7347">millstone</strongs>to <strongs number="2254">pledge</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="2254">taketh</strongs><em> a </em><em> man's </em><strongs number="5315">life</strongs>to <strongs number="2254">pledge</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>be <strongs number="4672">found</strongs><strongs number="1589">stealing</strongs><strongs number="5315">any</strongs>of his <strongs number="4480 251">brethren</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and maketh <strongs number="6014">merchandise</strongs>of him, or <strongs number="4376">selleth</strongs>him; then <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="1590">thief</strongs>shall <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>; and thou shalt put evil <strongs number="1197 7451">away</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 7130">among</strongs>you. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Take <strongs number="8104">heed</strongs>in the <strongs number="5061">plague</strongs>of <strongs number="6883">leprosy</strongs>, that thou <strongs number="8104">observe</strongs><strongs number="3966">diligently</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>according to <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>shall <strongs number="3384">teach</strongs>you: <strongs number="834">as</strongs>I <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>them, <em> so </em>ye shall <strongs number="8104">observe</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='14'>Thou shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6231">oppress</strongs>a hired <strongs number="7916">servant</strongs><em> that </em><em> is </em><strongs number="6041">poor</strongs>and <strongs number="34">needy</strongs>, <em> whether </em><em> he </em><em> be </em>of thy <strongs number="4480 251">brethren</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>of thy <strongs number="4480 1616">strangers</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> are </em>in thy <strongs number="776">land</strongs>within thy <strongs number="8179">gates</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='16'>The <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be put to <strongs number="4191">death</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>be put to <strongs number="4191">death</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>the <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>: every <strongs number="376">man</strongs>shall be put to <strongs number="4191">death</strongs>for his own <strongs number="2399">sin</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>Thou shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5186">pervert</strongs>the <strongs number="4941">judgment</strongs>of the <strongs number="1616">stranger</strongs>, <em> nor </em>of the <strongs number="3490">fatherless</strongs>; <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="2254">take</strongs>a <strongs number="490">widow</strongs>'s <strongs number="899">raiment</strongs>to <strongs number="2254">pledge</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='18'>But thou shalt <strongs number="2142">remember</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>thou <strongs number="1961">wast</strongs>a <strongs number="5650">bondman</strongs>in <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="6299">redeemed</strongs>thee <strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>: <strongs number="5921 3651">therefore</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="6680">command</strongs>thee to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>. </verse>
