      <verse number='1'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs>there <strongs number="6965">arise</strongs><strongs number="7130">among</strongs>you a <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>a <strongs number="2492">dreamer</strongs>of <strongs number="2472">dreams</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414 413">giveth</strongs>thee a <strongs number="226">sign</strongs><strongs number="176">or</strongs>a <strongs number="4159">wonder</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="226">sign</strongs>or the <strongs number="4159">wonder</strongs>come to <strongs number="935">pass</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whereof</strongs>he <strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Let us <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs><strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3045">known</strongs>, and let us <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs>them; </verse>
      <verse number='3'>Thou shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearken</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="2492">dreamer</strongs>of <strongs number="2472">dreams</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="5254">proveth</strongs>you, to <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3426">whether</strongs>ye <strongs number="157">love</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>your <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>and with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>your <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Ye shall <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>him, and <strongs number="8104">keep</strongs>his <strongs number="4687">commandments</strongs>, and <strongs number="8085">obey</strongs>his <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>, and ye shall <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs>him, and <strongs number="1692">cleave</strongs>unto him. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="2492">dreamer</strongs>of <strongs number="2472">dreams</strongs>, shall be put to <strongs number="4191">death</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>he hath <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs>to turn <em> you </em><strongs number="5627">away</strongs><strongs number="5921">from</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, which brought you <strongs number="3318 *853">out</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, and <strongs number="6299">redeemed</strongs>you out of the <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="5650">bondage</strongs>, to <strongs number="5080">thrust</strongs>thee out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>thee to <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs>in.       <verse number='6'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs>thy <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>, the <strongs number="121">son</strongs>of thy <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>thy <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>the <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>of thy <strongs number="2436">bosom</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>thy <strongs number="7453">friend</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> is </em>as thine own <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>, <strongs number="5496">entice</strongs>thee <strongs number="5643">secretly</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Let us <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>and <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs><strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3045">known</strongs>, <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>, nor thy <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='7'><em> Namely </em>, of the <strongs number="4480 430">gods</strongs>of the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> are </em>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>you, <strongs number="7138">nigh</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>far <strongs number="7350">off</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>thee, from the <em> one </em><strongs number="4480 7097">end</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>even <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <em> other </em><strongs number="7097">end</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Thou shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="14">consent</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearken</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him; <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall thine <strongs number="5869">eye</strongs><strongs number="2347 5921">pity</strongs>him, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shalt thou <strongs number="2550">spare</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shalt thou <strongs number="3680 5921">conceal</strongs>him: </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="3588">But</strongs>thou shalt surely <strongs number="2026 2026">kill</strongs>him; thine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="7223">first</strongs>upon him to put him to <strongs number="4191">death</strongs>, and <strongs number="314">afterwards</strongs>the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And thou shalt <strongs number="5619">stone</strongs>him with <strongs number="68">stones</strongs>, that he <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>he hath <strongs number="1245">sought</strongs>to thrust thee <strongs number="5080">away</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, which brought thee <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, from the <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="5650">bondage</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>shall <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>, and <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="3254">more</strongs><strongs number="1697">any</strongs>such <strongs number="7451">wickedness</strongs>as <strongs number="2088">this</strongs>is <strongs number="7130">among</strongs>you. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs>thou shalt <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><em> say </em>in <strongs number="259">one</strongs>of thy <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>hath <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>thee to <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='13'><em> Certain </em><strongs number="376">men</strongs>, the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="1100">Belial</strongs>, are gone <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 7130">among</strongs>you, and have <strongs number="5080">withdrawn</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of their <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Let us <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>and <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs><strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>ye have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3045">known</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Then shalt thou <strongs number="1875">inquire</strongs>, and make <strongs number="2713">search</strongs>, and <strongs number="7592">ask</strongs><strongs number="3190">diligently</strongs>; and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <em> if </em><em> it </em><em> be </em><strongs number="571">truth</strongs>, <em> and </em>the <strongs number="1697">thing</strongs><strongs number="3559">certain</strongs>, <em> that </em><strongs number="2063">such</strongs><strongs number="8441">abomination</strongs>is <strongs number="6213">wrought</strongs><strongs number="7130">among</strongs>you; </verse>
      <verse number='15'>Thou shalt surely <strongs number="5221 5221">smite</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>with the <strongs number="6310">edge</strongs>of the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, destroying it <strongs number="2763 *853">utterly</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> is </em>therein, and the <strongs number="929">cattle</strongs>thereof, with the <strongs number="6310">edge</strongs>of the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And thou shalt <strongs number="6908">gather</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="7998">spoil</strongs>of it <strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="7339">street</strongs>thereof, and shalt <strongs number="8313">burn</strongs>with <strongs number="784">fire</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="7998">spoil</strongs>thereof every <strongs number="3632">whit</strongs>, for the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: and it shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="8510">heap</strongs><strongs number="5769">forever</strongs>; it shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="1129">built</strongs><strongs number="5750">again</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And there shall <strongs number="1692">cleave</strongs><strongs number="3808 3972">naught</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the cursed <strongs number="2764">thing</strongs>to thine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>: <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>may <strongs number="7725">turn</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 2740">fierceness</strongs>of his <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">show</strongs>thee <strongs number="7356">mercy</strongs>, and have <strongs number="7355">compassion</strongs>upon thee, and <strongs number="7235">multiply</strongs>thee, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>he hath <strongs number="7650">sworn</strongs>unto thy <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="3588">When</strongs>thou shalt <strongs number="8085">hearken</strongs>to the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, to <strongs number="8104">keep</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="4687">commandments</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="6680">command</strongs>thee this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><em> that </em><em> which </em><em> is </em><strongs number="3477">right</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
