      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>as <strongs number="4012">touching</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1248">ministering</strongs><strongs number="1519">to</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="40">saints</strongs>, it <strongs number="2076">is</strongs><strongs number="4053">superfluous</strongs>for <strongs number="3427">me</strongs>to <strongs number="1125">write</strongs>to <strongs number="5213">you</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>I <strongs number="1492">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs>forwardness of your <strongs number="4288 5216">mind</strongs>, for <strongs number="3739">which</strongs>I <strongs number="2744">boast</strongs><strongs number="5228">of</strongs><strongs number="5216">you</strongs>to them of <strongs number="3110">Macedonia</strongs>, <strongs number="3754">that</strongs><strongs number="882">Achaia</strongs>was <strongs number="3903">ready</strongs>a year <strongs number="575 4070">ago</strongs>; <strongs number="2532 *1537">and</strongs><strongs number="5216">your</strongs><strongs number="2205">zeal</strongs>hath <strongs number="2042">provoked</strongs>very <strongs number="4119">many</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1161">Yet</strongs>have I <strongs number="3992">sent</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="80">brethren</strongs>, <strongs number="3363">lest</strongs><strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="2745">boasting</strongs><strongs number="5228">of</strongs><strongs number="5216">you</strongs>should be in <strongs number="2758">vain</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="5129">this</strongs><strongs number="3313">behalf</strongs>; <strongs number="2443">that</strongs>, <strongs number="2531">as</strongs>I <strongs number="3004">said</strongs>, ye may <strongs number="5600">be</strongs><strongs number="3903">ready</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Lest <strongs number="3381">haply</strongs><strongs number="1437">if</strongs>they of <strongs number="3110">Macedonia</strongs><strongs number="2064">come</strongs><strongs number="4862">with</strongs><strongs number="1698">me</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2147">find</strongs><strongs number="5209">you</strongs><strongs number="532">unprepared</strongs>, <strongs number="2249">we</strongs>( <strongs number="2443">that</strongs>we <strongs number="3004">say</strongs><strongs number="3361">not</strongs>, ye) should <strongs number="5210">be</strongs><strongs number="2617">ashamed</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs>this <strongs number="5026">same</strongs><strongs number="5287">confident</strongs><strongs number="2746">boasting</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3767">Therefore</strongs>I <strongs number="2233">thought</strongs>it <strongs number="316">necessary</strongs>to <strongs number="3870">exhort</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="80">brethren</strongs>, <strongs number="2443">that</strongs>they would go <strongs number="4281">before</strongs><strongs number="1519">unto</strongs><strongs number="5209">you</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>make up <strongs number="4294">beforehand</strongs><strongs number="5216">your</strongs><strongs number="2129">bounty</strongs>, whereof ye had notice <strongs number="4293">before</strongs>, that the <strongs number="5026">same</strongs>might <strongs number="1511">be</strongs><strongs number="2092 *3779">ready</strongs>, <strongs number="5613">as</strongs><em> a </em><em> matter </em><em> of </em><strongs number="2129">bounty</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3361">not</strongs><strongs number="5618">as</strongs><em> of </em><strongs number="4124">covetousness</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='7'>Every <strongs number="1538">man</strongs>according <strongs number="2531">as</strongs>he <strongs number="4255">purposeth</strongs>in his <strongs number="2588">heart</strongs>, <em> so </em><em> let </em><em> him </em><em> give </em>; <strongs number="3361">not</strongs><strongs number="1537 3077">grudgingly</strongs>, <strongs number="2228">or</strongs><strongs number="1537">of</strongs><strongs number="318">necessity</strongs>: <strongs number="1063">for</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs><strongs number="25">loveth</strongs>a <strongs number="2431">cheerful</strongs><strongs number="1395">giver</strongs>. </verse>
