      <verse number='2'>A <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of <strongs number="2822">darkness</strongs>and of <strongs number="653">gloominess</strongs>, a <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of <strongs number="6051">clouds</strongs>and of thick <strongs number="6205">darkness</strongs>, as the <strongs number="7837">morning</strongs><strongs number="6566">spread</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>: a <strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>and a <strongs number="6099">strong</strongs>; there hath <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1961">been</strongs><strongs number="4480 5769">ever</strongs>the <strongs number="3644">like</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall be any <strongs number="3254">more</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>it, <em> even </em><strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="8141">years</strongs>of many <strongs number="1755 1755">generations</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>A <strongs number="784">fire</strongs><strongs number="398">devoureth</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>them; and <strongs number="310">behind</strongs>them a <strongs number="3852">flame</strongs><strongs number="3857">burneth</strongs>: the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><em> is </em>as the <strongs number="1588">garden</strongs>of <strongs number="5731">Eden</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>them, and <strongs number="310">behind</strongs>them a <strongs number="8077">desolate</strongs><strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>; <strongs number="1571">yea</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">nothing</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961 6413">escape</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>The <strongs number="4758">appearance</strongs>of them <em> is </em>as the <strongs number="4758">appearance</strongs>of <strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>; and as <strongs number="6571">horsemen</strongs>, <strongs number="3651">so</strongs>shall they <strongs number="7323">run</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Like the <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of <strongs number="4818">chariots</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">tops</strongs>of <strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>shall they <strongs number="7540">leap</strongs>, like the <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of a <strongs number="3851">flame</strongs>of <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>that <strongs number="398">devoureth</strongs>the <strongs number="7179">stubble</strongs>, as a <strongs number="6099">strong</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>set in battle <strongs number="6186 4421">array</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Before their <strongs number="4480 6440">face</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>shall be much <strongs number="2342">pained</strongs>: <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>shall <strongs number="6908">gather</strongs><strongs number="6289">blackness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>They shall <strongs number="7323">run</strongs>like mighty <strongs number="1368">men</strongs>; they shall <strongs number="5927">climb</strongs>the <strongs number="2346">wall</strongs>like <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="4421">war</strongs>; and they shall <strongs number="1980">march</strongs>every <strongs number="376">one</strongs>on his <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>, and they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5670">break</strongs>their <strongs number="734">ranks</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='9'>They shall run to and <strongs number="8264">fro</strongs>in the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>; they shall <strongs number="7323">run</strongs>upon the <strongs number="2346">wall</strongs>, they shall climb <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>upon the <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs>; they shall enter <strongs number="935">in</strongs><strongs number="1157">at</strongs>the <strongs number="2474">windows</strongs>like a <strongs number="1590">thief</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>The <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>shall <strongs number="7264">quake</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>them; the <strongs number="8064">heavens</strongs>shall <strongs number="7493">tremble</strongs>: the <strongs number="8121">sun</strongs>and the <strongs number="3394">moon</strongs>shall be <strongs number="6937">dark</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3556">stars</strongs>shall <strongs number="622">withdraw</strongs>their <strongs number="5051">shining</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='17'>Let the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>, the <strongs number="8334">ministers</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="1058">weep</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>the <strongs number="197">porch</strongs>and the <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>, and let them <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="2347 5921">Spare</strongs>thy <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>thine <strongs number="5159">heritage</strongs>to <strongs number="2781">reproach</strongs>, that the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>should <strongs number="4910">rule</strongs>over them: <strongs number="4100">wherefore</strongs>should they <strongs number="559">say</strongs>among the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="346">Where</strongs><em> is </em>their <strongs number="430">God</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='21'><strongs number="3372">Fear</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>, O <strongs number="127">land</strongs>; be <strongs number="1523">glad</strongs>and <strongs number="8055">rejoice</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>will <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>great <strongs number="1431">things</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>Be not <strongs number="3372 408">afraid</strongs>, ye <strongs number="929">beasts</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="4999">pastures</strongs>of the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>do <strongs number="1876">spring</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="6086">tree</strongs><strongs number="5375">beareth</strongs>her <strongs number="6529">fruit</strongs>, the fig <strongs number="8384">tree</strongs>and the <strongs number="1612">vine</strongs>do <strongs number="5414">yield</strongs>their <strongs number="2428">strength</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>Be <strongs number="1523">glad</strongs>then, ye <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>, and <strongs number="8055">rejoice</strongs>in the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he hath <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>you <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the former <strongs number="4175">rain</strongs><strongs number="6666">moderately</strongs>, and he will cause to come <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>for you the <strongs number="1653">rain</strongs>, the former <strongs number="4175">rain</strongs>, and the latter <strongs number="4456">rain</strongs>in the <strongs number="7223">first</strongs><em> month </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>And the <strongs number="1637">floors</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4390">full</strongs>of <strongs number="1250">wheat</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3342">fats</strongs>shall <strongs number="7783">overflow</strongs>with <strongs number="8492">wine</strongs>and <strongs number="3323">oil</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>And I will <strongs number="7999">restore</strongs>to you <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>the <strongs number="697">locust</strongs>hath <strongs number="398">eaten</strongs>, the <strongs number="3218">cankerworm</strongs>, and the <strongs number="2625">caterpillar</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1501">palmerworm</strongs>, my <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="2428">army</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>among you. </verse>

      <verse number='32'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <em> that </em><strongs number="3605 834">whosoever</strongs>shall <strongs number="7121">call</strongs>on the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4422">delivered</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>in <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs><strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>and in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="6413">deliverance</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="8300">remnant</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="7121">call</strongs>. </verse>
