      <verse number='2'>The <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs>hath swallowed <strongs number="1104">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4999">habitations</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, and hath <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2550">pitied</strongs>: he hath thrown <strongs number="2040">down</strongs>in his <strongs number="5678">wrath</strongs>the <strongs number="4013">strongholds</strongs>of the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>; he hath brought <em> them </em><strongs number="5060">down</strongs>to the <strongs number="776">ground</strongs>: he hath <strongs number="2490">polluted</strongs>the <strongs number="4467">kingdom</strongs>and the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>thereof. </verse>

      <verse number='5'>The <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>as an <strongs number="341">enemy</strongs>: he hath swallowed <strongs number="1104">up</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, he hath swallowed <strongs number="1104">up</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>her <strongs number="759">palaces</strongs>: he hath <strongs number="7843">destroyed</strongs>his <strongs number="4013">strongholds</strongs>, and hath <strongs number="7235">increased</strongs>in the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs><strongs number="8386">mourning</strongs>and <strongs number="592">lamentation</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And he hath violently taken <strongs number="2554">away</strongs>his <strongs number="7900">tabernacle</strongs>, as <em> if </em><em> it </em><em> were </em><em> of </em>a <strongs number="1588">garden</strongs>: he hath <strongs number="7843">destroyed</strongs>his places of the <strongs number="4150">assembly</strongs>: the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath caused the solemn <strongs number="4150">feasts</strongs>and <strongs number="7676">sabbaths</strongs>to be <strongs number="7911">forgotten</strongs>in <strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>, and hath <strongs number="5006">despised</strongs>in the <strongs number="2195">indignation</strongs>of his <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>and the <strongs number="3548">priest</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>The <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs>hath cast <strongs number="2186">off</strongs>his <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>, he hath <strongs number="5010">abhorred</strongs>his <strongs number="4720">sanctuary</strongs>, he hath given <strongs number="5462">up</strongs>into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="341">enemy</strongs>the <strongs number="2346">walls</strongs>of her <strongs number="759">palaces</strongs>; they have <strongs number="5414">made</strongs>a <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, as in the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of a solemn <strongs number="4150">feast</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="2803">purposed</strongs>to <strongs number="7843">destroy</strongs>the <strongs number="2346">wall</strongs>of the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>: he hath stretched <strongs number="5186">out</strongs>a <strongs number="6957">line</strongs>, he hath <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7725">withdrawn</strongs>his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 1104">destroying</strongs>: therefore he made the <strongs number="2426">rampart</strongs>and the <strongs number="2346">wall</strongs>to <strongs number="56">lament</strongs>; they <strongs number="535">languished</strongs><strongs number="3162">together</strongs>. </verse>
