<verse number='1'>To the chief <strongs number="5329">Musician</strongs>on <strongs number="5058">Neginoth</strongs>, <strongs number="4905">Maschil</strongs>, <em> A </em><em> Psalm </em>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>. Give <strongs number="238">ear</strongs>to my <strongs number="8605">prayer</strongs>, O <strongs number="430">God</strongs>; and hide not <strongs number="408 5956">thyself</strongs>from my <strongs number="4480 8467">supplication</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='2'><strongs number="7181">Attend</strongs>unto me, and <strongs number="6030">hear</strongs>me: I <strongs number="7300">mourn</strongs>in my <strongs number="7879">complaint</strongs>, and make a <strongs number="1949">noise</strongs>; </verse>
<verse number='3'>Because of the <strongs number="4480 6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="341">enemy</strongs>, <strongs number="4480 6440">because</strongs>of the <strongs number="6125">oppression</strongs>of the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>they <strongs number="4131">cast</strongs><strongs number="205">iniquity</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>me, and in <strongs number="639">wrath</strongs>they <strongs number="7852">hate</strongs>me. </verse>

<verse number='15'>Let <strongs number="4194">death</strongs><strongs number="5377">seize</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>them, <em> and </em>let them go <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="2416">quick</strongs>into <strongs number="7585">hell</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="7451">wickedness</strongs><em> is </em>in their <strongs number="4033">dwellings</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="7130">among</strongs>them. </verse>
<verse number='16'>As for me, <strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="7121">call</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>; and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="3467">save</strongs>me. </verse>
<verse number='17'><strongs number="6153">Evening</strongs>, and <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs>, and at <strongs number="6672">noon</strongs>, will I <strongs number="7878">pray</strongs>, and cry <strongs number="1993">aloud</strongs>: and he shall <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>my <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='18'>He hath <strongs number="6299">delivered</strongs>my <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>in <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 7128">battle</strongs><em> that </em><em> was </em>against me: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>there <strongs number="1961">were</strongs><strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="5978">with</strongs>me. </verse>

<verse number='20'>He hath put <strongs number="7971">forth</strongs>his <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>against such as be at <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>with him: he hath <strongs number="2490">broken</strongs>his <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='22'><strongs number="7993">Cast</strongs>thy <strongs number="3053">burden</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>shall <strongs number="3557">sustain</strongs>thee: he shall <strongs number="3808 5769">never</strongs><strongs number="5414">suffer</strongs>the <strongs number="6662">righteous</strongs>to be <strongs number="4131">moved</strongs>. </verse>
