<verse number='1'>To the chief <strongs number="5329">Musician</strongs>, A <strongs number="4210">Psalm</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>. <strongs number="2790">Hold</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>thy peace, O <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of my <strongs number="8416">praise</strongs>; </verse>
<verse number='2'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>the <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>of the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>and the <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>of the <strongs number="4820">deceitful</strongs>are <strongs number="6605">opened</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me: they have <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs><strongs number="854">against</strongs>me with a <strongs number="8267">lying</strongs><strongs number="3956">tongue</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='3'>They compassed me <strongs number="5437">about</strongs>also with <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of <strongs number="8135">hatred</strongs>; and fought <strongs number="3898">against</strongs>me without a <strongs number="2600">cause</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='7'>When he shall be <strongs number="8199">judged</strongs>, let him be <strongs number="3318 7563">condemned</strongs>: and <strongs number="3318">let</strongs>his <strongs number="8605">prayer</strongs><strongs number="1961">become</strongs><strongs number="2401">sin</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='10'>Let his <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>be continually <strongs number="5128 5128">vagabonds</strongs>, and <strongs number="7592">beg</strongs>: let them <strongs number="1875">seek</strongs><em> their </em><em> bread </em>also out of their desolate <strongs number="4480 2723">places</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='14'>Let the <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>of his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>be <strongs number="2142">remembered</strongs><strongs number="413">with</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and let <strongs number="408">not</strongs>the <strongs number="2403">sin</strongs>of his <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>be blotted <strongs number="4229">out</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='15'>Let them <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5048">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="8548">continually</strongs>, that he may cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>the <strongs number="2143">memory</strongs>of them from the <strongs number="4480 776">earth</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='16'><strongs number="3282">Because</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he <strongs number="2142">remembered</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">show</strongs><strongs number="2617">mercy</strongs>, but <strongs number="7291">persecuted</strongs>the <strongs number="6041">poor</strongs>and <strongs number="34">needy</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>, that he might even <strongs number="4191">slay</strongs>the <strongs number="3512">broken</strongs>in <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='17'>As he <strongs number="157">loved</strongs><strongs number="7045">cursing</strongs>, so let it <strongs number="935">come</strongs>unto him: as he <strongs number="2654">delighted</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>in <strongs number="1293">blessing</strongs>, so let it be <strongs number="7368">far</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>him. </verse>
<verse number='18'>As he <strongs number="3847">clothed</strongs>himself with <strongs number="7045">cursing</strongs>like as with his <strongs number="4055">garment</strongs>, so let it <strongs number="935">come</strongs>into his <strongs number="7130">bowels</strongs>like <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, and like <strongs number="8081">oil</strongs>into his <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='19'>Let it <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>unto him as the <strongs number="899">garment</strongs><em> which </em><strongs number="5844">covereth</strongs>him, and for a <strongs number="4206">girdle</strongs>wherewith he is <strongs number="2296">girded</strongs><strongs number="8548">continually</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='29'>Let mine <strongs number="7853">adversaries</strongs>be <strongs number="3847">clothed</strongs>with <strongs number="3639">shame</strongs>, and let them <strongs number="5844">cover</strongs>themselves with their own <strongs number="1322">confusion</strongs>, as with a <strongs number="4598">mantle</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='30'>I will <strongs number="3966">greatly</strongs><strongs number="3034">praise</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>with my <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>; yea, I will <strongs number="1984">praise</strongs>him <strongs number="8432">among</strongs>the <strongs number="7227">multitude</strongs>. </verse>
