      <verse number='1'>A <strongs number="8605">Prayer</strongs>of the <strongs number="6041">afflicted</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>he is <strongs number="5848">overwhelmed</strongs>, and poureth <strongs number="8210">out</strongs>his <strongs number="7879">complaint</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. <strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>my <strongs number="8605">prayer</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and let my <strongs number="7775">cry</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="5641">Hide</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>thy <strongs number="6440">face</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>me in the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs><em> when </em>I am in <strongs number="6862">trouble</strongs>; <strongs number="5186">incline</strongs>thine <strongs number="241">ear</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me: in the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs><em> when </em>I <strongs number="7121">call</strongs><strongs number="6030">answer</strongs>me <strongs number="4116">speedily</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>my <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>are <strongs number="3615">consumed</strongs>like <strongs number="6227">smoke</strongs>, and my <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>are <strongs number="2787">burned</strongs><strongs number="3644">as</strongs>a <strongs number="4168">hearth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>My <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>is <strongs number="5221">smitten</strongs>, and <strongs number="3001">withered</strongs>like <strongs number="6212">grass</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">so</strongs>that I <strongs number="7911">forget</strongs>to <strongs number="4480 398">eat</strongs>my <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>By reason of the <strongs number="4480 6963">voice</strongs>of my <strongs number="585">groaning</strongs>my <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs><strongs number="1692">cleave</strongs>to my <strongs number="1320">skin</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>I am <strongs number="1819">like</strongs>a <strongs number="6893">pelican</strongs>of the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>: I <strongs number="1961">am</strongs>like an <strongs number="3563">owl</strongs>of the <strongs number="2723">desert</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='8'>Mine <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs><strongs number="2778">reproach</strongs>me <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>; <em> and </em>they that are <strongs number="1984">mad</strongs>against me are <strongs number="7650">sworn</strongs>against me. </verse>

      <verse number='10'><strongs number="4480 6440">Because</strongs>of thine <strongs number="2195">indignation</strongs>and thy <strongs number="7110">wrath</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thou hast lifted me <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>, and cast me <strongs number="7993">down</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>My <strongs number="3117">days</strongs><em> are </em>like a <strongs number="6738">shadow</strongs>that <strongs number="5186">declineth</strongs>; and <strongs number="589">I</strongs>am <strongs number="3001">withered</strongs>like <strongs number="6212">grass</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>But <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, shalt <strongs number="3427">endure</strongs><strongs number="5769">forever</strongs>; and thy <strongs number="2143">remembrance</strongs>unto all <strongs number="1755 1755">generations</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="859">Thou</strongs>shalt <strongs number="6965">arise</strongs>, <em> and </em>have mercy <strongs number="7355">upon</strongs><strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="6256">time</strongs>to <strongs number="2603">favor</strongs>her, <strongs number="3588">yea</strongs>, the set <strongs number="4150">time</strongs>, is <strongs number="935">come</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>thy <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>take pleasure <strongs number="7521">in</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>her <strongs number="68">stones</strongs>, and <strongs number="2603">favor</strongs>the <strongs number="6083">dust</strongs>thereof. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>So the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>shall <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="3519">glory</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'><strongs number="3588">When</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall build <strongs number="1129">up</strongs><strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>, he shall <strongs number="7200">appear</strongs>in his <strongs number="3519">glory</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>He will <strongs number="6437 413">regard</strongs>the <strongs number="8605">prayer</strongs>of the <strongs number="6199">destitute</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="959">despise</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="8605">prayer</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="2063">This</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3789">written</strongs>for the <strongs number="1755">generation</strongs>to <strongs number="314">come</strongs>: and the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>which shall be <strongs number="1254">created</strongs>shall <strongs number="1984">praise</strongs>the <strongs number="3050">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>he hath looked <strongs number="8259">down</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 4791">height</strongs>of his <strongs number="6944">sanctuary</strongs>; from <strongs number="4480 8064">heaven</strongs>did the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5027 413">behold</strongs>the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>; </verse>

      <verse number='21'>To <strongs number="5608">declare</strongs>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>in <strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>, and his <strongs number="8416">praise</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='22'>When the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>are <strongs number="6908">gathered</strongs><strongs number="3162">together</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4467">kingdoms</strongs>, to <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>He <strongs number="6031">weakened</strongs>my <strongs number="3581">strength</strongs>in the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>; he <strongs number="7114">shortened</strongs>my <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>I <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, O my <strongs number="410">God</strongs>, <strongs number="5927">take</strongs>me <strongs number="408">not</strongs>away in the <strongs number="2677">midst</strongs>of my <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>: thy <strongs number="8141">years</strongs><em> are </em>throughout all <strongs number="1755 1755">generations</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>Of <strongs number="6440">old</strongs>hast thou laid the <strongs number="3245">foundation</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>: and the <strongs number="8064">heavens</strongs><em> are </em>the <strongs number="4639">work</strongs>of thy <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='26'><strongs number="1992">They</strongs>shall <strongs number="6">perish</strongs>, but <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>shalt <strongs number="5975">endure</strongs>: yea, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>of them shall wax <strongs number="1086">old</strongs>like a <strongs number="899">garment</strongs>; as a <strongs number="3830">vesture</strongs>shalt thou <strongs number="2498">change</strongs>them, and they shall be <strongs number="2498">changed</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='28'>The <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of thy <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>shall <strongs number="7931">continue</strongs>, and their <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3559">established</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>thee. </verse>
