      <verse number='2'>And he <strongs number="6213">did</strongs><em> that </em><em> which </em><em> was </em><strongs number="3477">right</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">walked</strongs>in the <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, and <strongs number="5493">declined</strongs><em> neither </em>to the right <strongs number="3225">hand</strongs>, nor to the <strongs number="8040">left</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='4'>And they broke <strongs number="5422">down</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4196">altars</strongs>of <strongs number="1168">Baalim</strongs>in his <strongs number="6440">presence</strongs>; and the <strongs number="2553">images</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em>on <strongs number="4605">high</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">above</strongs>them, he cut <strongs number="1438">down</strongs>; and the <strongs number="842">groves</strongs>, and the carved <strongs number="6456">images</strongs>, and the molten <strongs number="4541">images</strongs>, he broke in <strongs number="7665">pieces</strongs>, and made <strongs number="1854">dust</strongs><em> of </em><em> them </em>, and <strongs number="2236">strewed</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5921 6440">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="6913">graves</strongs>of them that had <strongs number="2076">sacrificed</strongs>unto them. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And he <strongs number="8313">burnt</strongs>the <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>of the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>their <strongs number="4196">altars</strongs>, and <strongs number="2891">cleansed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>and <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And <em> so </em><em> did </em><em> he </em>in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>, and <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>, and <strongs number="8095">Simeon</strongs>, even <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="5321">Naphtali</strongs>, with their <strongs number="2719">mattocks</strongs>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='11'>Even to the <strongs number="2796">artificers</strongs>and <strongs number="1129">builders</strongs><strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>they <em> it </em>, to <strongs number="7069">buy</strongs><strongs number="4274">hewn</strongs><strongs number="68">stone</strongs>, and <strongs number="6086">timber</strongs>for <strongs number="4226">couplings</strongs>, and to <strongs number="7136">floor</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>had <strongs number="7843">destroyed</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='15'>And <strongs number="2518">Hilkiah</strongs><strongs number="6030">answered</strongs>and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="8227">Shaphan</strongs>the <strongs number="5608">scribe</strongs>, I have <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of the <strongs number="8451">law</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>.       <verse number='18'>Then <strongs number="8227">Shaphan</strongs>the <strongs number="5608">scribe</strongs><strongs number="5046">told</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="2518">Hilkiah</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priest</strongs>hath <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>me a <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>. And <strongs number="8227">Shaphan</strongs><strongs number="7121">read</strongs>it <strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='24'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>thereof, <em> even </em><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="423">curses</strongs>that are <strongs number="3789">written</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>they have <strongs number="7121">read</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='25'><strongs number="8478 834">Because</strongs>they have <strongs number="5800">forsaken</strongs>me, and have burned <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs>unto <strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>they might provoke me to <strongs number="3707">anger</strongs>with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4639">works</strongs>of their <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>; therefore my <strongs number="2534">wrath</strongs>shall be poured <strongs number="5413">out</strongs>upon <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="3518">quenched</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='32'>And he caused <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that were <strongs number="4672">present</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>and <strongs number="1144">Benjamin</strongs>to <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs><em> to </em><em> it </em>. And the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs><strongs number="6213">did</strongs>according to the <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='33'>And <strongs number="2977">Josiah</strongs>took <strongs number="5493">away</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="8441">abominations</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="776">countries</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> pertained </em>to the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and made <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that were <strongs number="4672">present</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>to <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs>, <em> even </em>to <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>their <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. <em> And </em><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>they <strongs number="5493">departed</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 310">following</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>. </verse>
