      <verse number='1'>And <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs>in his <strongs number="8478">stead</strongs>, and strengthened <strongs number="2388">himself</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And he <strongs number="5414">placed</strongs><strongs number="2428">forces</strongs>in <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1219">fenced</strongs><strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">set</strongs><strongs number="5333">garrisons</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="609">Asa</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>had <strongs number="3920">taken</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs><strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>he <strongs number="1980">walked</strongs>in the <strongs number="7223">first</strongs><strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>of his <strongs number="1">father</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, and <strongs number="1875">sought</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>unto <strongs number="1168">Baalim</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="3588">But</strongs><strongs number="1875">sought</strongs>to the <em> LORD </em><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">walked</strongs>in his <strongs number="4687">commandments</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>after the <strongs number="4639">doings</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Therefore the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3559">established</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4467">kingdom</strongs>in his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>; and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs><strongs number="5414">brought</strongs>to <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><strongs number="4503">presents</strongs>; and he <strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="6239">riches</strongs>and <strongs number="3519">honor</strongs>in <strongs number="7230">abundance</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And his <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>was lifted <strongs number="1361">up</strongs>in the <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: <strongs number="5750">moreover</strongs>he took <strongs number="5493">away</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the high <strongs number="1116">places</strongs>and <strongs number="842">groves</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 3063">Judah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Also in the <strongs number="7969">third</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of his <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>he <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>to his <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>, <em> even </em>to <strongs number="1134">Ben</strongs>-hail, and to <strongs number="5662">Obadiah</strongs>, and to <strongs number="2148">Zechariah</strongs>, and to <strongs number="5417">Nethaneel</strongs>, and to <strongs number="4322">Michaiah</strongs>, to <strongs number="3925">teach</strongs>in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>them <em> he </em><em> sent </em><strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="8098">Shemaiah</strongs>, and <strongs number="5418">Nethaniah</strongs>, and <strongs number="2069">Zebadiah</strongs>, and <strongs number="6214">Asahel</strongs>, and <strongs number="8070">Shemiramoth</strongs>, and <strongs number="3083">Jehonathan</strongs>, and <strongs number="138">Adonijah</strongs>, and <strongs number="2900">Tobijah</strongs>, and <strongs number="2899">Tob</strongs>-adonijah, <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>; and <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>them <strongs number="476">Elishama</strongs>and <strongs number="3088">Jehoram</strongs>, <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And they <strongs number="3925">taught</strongs>in <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and <em> had </em>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of the <strongs number="8451">law</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>them, and went <strongs number="5437">about</strongs>throughout <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and <strongs number="3925">taught</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And the <strongs number="6343">fear</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">fell</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4467">kingdoms</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">lands</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs><strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, so that they made no <strongs number="3898 3808">war</strongs><strongs number="5973">against</strongs><strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>Also <em> some </em><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs><strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><strongs number="4503">presents</strongs>, and <strongs number="4853">tribute</strongs><strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>; <strongs number="1571">and</strongs>the <strongs number="6163">Arabians</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs>him <strongs number="6629">flocks</strongs>, <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>and <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="352">rams</strongs>, and <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>and <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs>he <strongs number="8495">goats</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><strongs number="1961 1980">waxed</strongs><strongs number="1432">great</strongs><strongs number="5704 4605">exceedingly</strongs>; and he <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>in <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs><strongs number="1003">castles</strongs>, and <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="4543">store</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And he <strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="7227">much</strongs><strongs number="4399">business</strongs>in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>: and the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="4421">war</strongs>, mighty <strongs number="1368">men</strongs>of <strongs number="2428">valor</strongs>, <em> were </em>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And <strongs number="428">these</strongs><em> are </em>the <strongs number="6486">numbers</strongs>of them according to the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>: Of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, the <strongs number="8269">captains</strongs>of <strongs number="505">thousands</strongs>; <strongs number="5734">Adnah</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">chief</strongs>, and <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him mighty <strongs number="1368">men</strongs>of <strongs number="2428">valor</strongs><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And <strongs number="5921 3027">next</strongs>to him <em> was </em><strongs number="3076">Jehohanan</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">captain</strongs>, and <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him two <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs>and <strongs number="8084">fourscore</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And <strongs number="5921 3027">next</strongs>him <em> was </em><strongs number="6007">Amasiah</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2147">Zichri</strongs>, who willingly offered <strongs number="5068">himself</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and with <strongs number="5973">him</strongs>two <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>mighty <strongs number="1368">men</strongs>of <strongs number="2428">valor</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And <strongs number="4480">of</strongs><strongs number="1144">Benjamin</strongs>; <strongs number="450">Eliada</strongs>a mighty <strongs number="1368">man</strongs>of <strongs number="2428">valor</strongs>, and <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him armed <strongs number="5401">men</strongs>with <strongs number="7198">bow</strongs>and <strongs number="4043">shield</strongs>two <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="5921 3027">next</strongs>him <em> was </em><strongs number="3075">Jehozabad</strongs>, and <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him a <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs>and <strongs number="8084">fourscore</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>ready <strongs number="2502">prepared</strongs>for the <strongs number="6635">war</strongs>. </verse>
