      <verse number='1'>Now <strongs number="5283">Naaman</strongs>, <strongs number="8269">captain</strongs>of the <strongs number="6635">host</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>, <strongs number="1961">was</strongs>a <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="6440">with</strongs>his <strongs number="113">master</strongs>, and <strongs number="5375 6440">honorable</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>by him the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="5414">given</strongs><strongs number="8668">deliverance</strongs>unto <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>: he <strongs number="1961">was</strongs>also a <strongs number="1368">mighty</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>in <strongs number="2428">valor</strongs>, <em> but </em><em> he </em><em> was </em>a <strongs number="6879">leper</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="758">Syrians</strongs>had gone <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>by <strongs number="1416">companies</strongs>, and had brought away <strongs number="7617">captive</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>a <strongs number="6996">little</strongs><strongs number="5291">maid</strongs>; and she <strongs number="1961 6440">waited</strongs>on <strongs number="5283">Naaman</strongs>'s <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And she <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her <strongs number="1404">mistress</strongs>, Would <strongs number="305">God</strongs>my <strongs number="113">lord</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="6440">with</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> is </em>in <strongs number="8111">Samaria</strongs>! <strongs number="227">for</strongs>he would <strongs number="622">recover</strongs>him of his <strongs number="4480 6883">leprosy</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <em> one </em>went <strongs number="935">in</strongs>, and <strongs number="5046">told</strongs>his <strongs number="113">lord</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="2063">Thus</strongs>and <strongs number="2063">thus</strongs><strongs number="1696">said</strongs>the <strongs number="5291">maid</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> is </em>of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Go <strongs number="1980">to</strongs>, <strongs number="935">go</strongs>, and I will <strongs number="7971">send</strongs>a <strongs number="5612">letter</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. And he <strongs number="1980">departed</strongs>, and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="3027">with</strongs>him <strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="3603">talents</strongs>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, and <strongs number="8337">six</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><em> pieces </em>of <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>, and <strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="2487">changes</strongs>of <strongs number="899">raiment</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And he <strongs number="935">brought</strongs>the <strongs number="5612">letter</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>when <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5612">letter</strongs>is <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, I have <em> therewith </em><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="5283">Naaman</strongs>my <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>thee, that thou mayest <strongs number="622">recover</strongs>him of his <strongs number="4480 6883">leprosy</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>had <strongs number="7121">read</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5612">letter</strongs>, that he <strongs number="7167">rent</strongs>his <strongs number="899">clothes</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> Am </em><strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>, to <strongs number="4191">kill</strongs>and to make <strongs number="2421">alive</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs>man doth <strongs number="7971">send</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me to <strongs number="622">recover</strongs>a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of his <strongs number="4480 6883">leprosy</strongs>? <strongs number="3588 389">wherefore</strongs><strongs number="3045">consider</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">you</strongs>, and <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="3588">how</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs>seeketh a <strongs number="579">quarrel</strongs>against me. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><em> so </em>, when <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>had <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>had <strongs number="7167">rent</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="899">clothes</strongs>, that he <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">Wherefore</strongs>hast thou <strongs number="7167">rent</strongs>thy <strongs number="899">clothes</strongs>? let him <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>me, and he shall <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>there <strongs number="3426">is</strongs>a <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>So <strongs number="5283">Naaman</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>with his <strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>and with his <strongs number="7393">chariot</strongs>, and <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>at the <strongs number="6607">door</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>a <strongs number="4397">messenger</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>and <strongs number="7364">wash</strongs>in <strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs><strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="6471">times</strongs>, and thy <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>shall come <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>to thee, and thou shalt be <strongs number="2891">clean</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>But <strongs number="5283">Naaman</strongs>was <strongs number="7107">wroth</strongs>, and went <strongs number="1980">away</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I <strongs number="559">thought</strongs>, He will surely come <strongs number="3318 3318">out</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>me, and <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">call</strongs>on the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>his <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and <strongs number="5130">strike</strongs>his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs><strongs number="413">over</strongs>the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, and <strongs number="622">recover</strongs>the <strongs number="6879">leper</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><em> Are </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="71">Abana</strongs>and <strongs number="6554">Pharpar</strongs>, <strongs number="5104">rivers</strongs>of <strongs number="1834">Damascus</strongs>, <strongs number="2896">better</strongs>than <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>? may I <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7364">wash</strongs>in them, and be <strongs number="2891">clean</strongs>? So he <strongs number="6437">turned</strongs>and went <strongs number="1980">away</strongs>in a <strongs number="2534">rage</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>came <strongs number="5066">near</strongs>, and <strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, My <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, <em> if </em>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>had <strongs number="1696 413">bid</strongs>thee <em> do </em><em> some </em><strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>, wouldest thou <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>have <strongs number="6213">done</strongs><em> it </em>? how much <strongs number="637">rather</strongs>then, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>he <strongs number="559">saith</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>thee, <strongs number="7364">Wash</strongs>, and be <strongs number="2891">clean</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Then went he <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>, and <strongs number="2881">dipped</strongs>himself <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="6471">times</strongs>in <strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>, according to the <strongs number="1697">saying</strongs>of the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: and his <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>came <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>like unto the <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>of a <strongs number="6996">little</strongs><strongs number="5288">child</strongs>, and he was <strongs number="2891">clean</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And he <strongs number="7725">returned</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="4264">company</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs>, and <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>him: and he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, <strongs number="4994">now</strongs>I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>in <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>therefore, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">take</strongs>a <strongs number="1293">blessing</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">of</strongs>thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>But he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> As </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>, <strongs number="6440">before</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>I <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs>, I will <strongs number="3947">receive</strongs>none. And he <strongs number="6484">urged</strongs>him to <strongs number="3947">take</strongs><em> it </em>; but he <strongs number="3985">refused</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And <strongs number="5283">Naaman</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Shall there <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>then, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, be <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>to thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>two <strongs number="6776 6505">mules</strongs>' <strongs number="4853">burden</strongs>of <strongs number="127">earth</strongs>? <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>will <strongs number="5750">henceforth</strongs><strongs number="6213">offer</strongs><strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>burnt <strongs number="5930">offering</strongs>nor <strongs number="2077">sacrifice</strongs>unto <strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>In <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5545">pardon</strongs>thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>, <em> that </em>when my <strongs number="113">master</strongs><strongs number="935">goeth</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="7417">Rimmon</strongs>to <strongs number="7812">worship</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>, and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="8172">leaneth</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>my <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, and I bow <strongs number="7812">myself</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="7417">Rimmon</strongs>: when I bow down <strongs number="7812">myself</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="7417">Rimmon</strongs>, the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5545">pardon</strongs>thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>in <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>. So he <strongs number="1980">departed</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">from</strongs>him a little <strongs number="3530 776">way</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>But <strongs number="1522">Gehazi</strongs>, the <strongs number="5288">servant</strongs>of <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, my <strongs number="113">master</strongs>hath <strongs number="2820">spared</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="5283">Naaman</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="761">Syrian</strongs>, in not <strongs number="4480 3947">receiving</strongs>at his <strongs number="4480 3027">hands</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>that <strongs number="834">which</strongs>he <strongs number="935">brought</strongs>: <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs>, <em> as </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>, I will <strongs number="7323">run</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>him, and <strongs number="3947">take</strongs><strongs number="3972">somewhat</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">of</strongs>him. </verse>

And when <strongs number="5283">Naaman</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><em> him </em><strongs number="7323">running</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>him, he lighted <strongs number="5307">down</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs>the <strongs number="4818">chariot</strongs>to <strongs number="7122">meet</strongs>him, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> Is </em>all <strongs number="7965">well</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, All <em> is </em><strongs number="7965">well</strongs>. And <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="4480 370">Whence</strongs><em> comest </em><em> thou </em>, <strongs number="1522">Gehazi</strongs>? And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="575 575">whither</strongs>. </verse>
