      <verse number='1'>In <strongs number="1992">those</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>was Hezekiah <strongs number="2470 2396">sick</strongs>unto <strongs number="4191">death</strongs>. And the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs><strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="531">Amoz</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, Set thine house in <strongs number="6680 1004">order</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>shalt <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2421">live</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Then he <strongs number="5437">turned</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="6440">face</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="7023">wall</strongs>, and <strongs number="6419">prayed</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='3'>I beseech <strongs number="577">thee</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="2142">remember</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="834">how</strongs>I have <strongs number="1980">walked</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>thee in <strongs number="571">truth</strongs>and with a <strongs number="8003">perfect</strongs><strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>, and have <strongs number="6213">done</strongs><em> that </em><em> which </em><em> is </em><strongs number="2896">good</strongs>in thy <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>. And <strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="1058">wept</strongs><strongs number="1065 1419">sore</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">before</strongs><strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs>was gone <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>into the <strongs number="8484">middle</strongs><strongs number="2691">court</strongs>, that the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Turn <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>, and <strongs number="559 413">tell</strongs><strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs>the <strongs number="5057">captain</strongs>of my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>thy <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, I have <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="8605">prayer</strongs>, I have <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="1832">tears</strongs>: <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="7495">heal</strongs>thee: on the <strongs number="7992">third</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>thou shalt go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>unto the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And I will <strongs number="3254">add</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>thy <strongs number="3117">days</strongs><strongs number="2568 6240">fifteen</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>; and I will <strongs number="5337">deliver</strongs>thee and <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 3709">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="804">Assyria</strongs>; and I will <strongs number="1598 5921">defend</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>for mine own <strongs number="4616">sake</strongs>, and for my <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>'s <strongs number="4616">sake</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">Take</strongs>a <strongs number="1690">lump</strongs>of <strongs number="8384">figs</strongs>. And they <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>and <strongs number="7760">laid</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>the <strongs number="7822">boil</strongs>, and he <strongs number="2421">recovered</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em>the <strongs number="226">sign</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>will <strongs number="7495">heal</strongs>me, and that I shall go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>the <strongs number="7992">third</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2088">This</strongs><strongs number="226">sign</strongs>shalt thou have <strongs number="4480 854">of</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>will <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">thing</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he hath <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs>: shall the <strongs number="6738">shadow</strongs>go <strongs number="1980">forward</strongs><strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="4609">degrees</strongs>, <strongs number="518">or</strongs>go <strongs number="7725">back</strongs><strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="4609">degrees</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And <strongs number="3169">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, It is a light <strongs number="7043">thing</strongs>for the <strongs number="6738">shadow</strongs>to go <strongs number="5186">down</strongs><strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="4609">degrees</strongs>: <strongs number="3808">nay</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">but</strongs>let the <strongs number="6738">shadow</strongs><strongs number="7725">return</strongs><strongs number="322">backward</strongs><strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="4609">degrees</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs><strongs number="7121">cried</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: and he <strongs number="7725">brought</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6738">shadow</strongs><strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="4609">degrees</strongs><strongs number="322">backward</strongs>, by <strongs number="834">which</strongs>it had gone <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>in the <strongs number="4609">dial</strongs>of <strongs number="271">Ahaz</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>At <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="6256">time</strongs><strongs number="1255">Berodach</strongs>-baladan, the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="1081">Baladan</strongs>, <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>, <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="5612">letters</strongs>and a <strongs number="4503">present</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he had <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs>had been <strongs number="2470">sick</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>them, and <strongs number="7200">showed</strongs>them <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of his precious <strongs number="5238">things</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, and the <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1314">spices</strongs>, and the <strongs number="2896">precious</strongs><strongs number="8081">ointment</strongs>, and <em> all </em>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of his <strongs number="3627">armor</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>was <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>in his <strongs number="214">treasures</strongs>: there <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="3808 1697">nothing</strongs>in his <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, nor in <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="4475">dominion</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="7200">showed</strongs>them <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Then <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>? and from <strongs number="4480 370">whence</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>they <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee? And <strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, They are <strongs number="935">come</strongs>from a far <strongs number="4480 776 7350">country</strongs>, <em> even </em>from <strongs number="4480 894">Babylon</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs>have they <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs>in thine <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>? And <strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">All</strongs><em> the </em><em> things </em><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> are </em>in mine <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>have they <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs>: there <strongs number="1961">is</strongs><strongs number="3808 1697">nothing</strongs>among my <strongs number="214">treasures</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7200">showed</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And <strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs>, that <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> is </em>in thine <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, and that <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thy <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>have laid up in <strongs number="686">store</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, shall be <strongs number="5375">carried</strongs>into <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>: <strongs number="3808 1697">nothing</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3498">left</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And of thy <strongs number="4480 1121">sons</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>shall <strongs number="3318">issue</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>thee, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou shalt <strongs number="3205">beget</strongs>, shall they take <strongs number="3947">away</strongs>; and they shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5631">eunuchs</strongs>in the <strongs number="1964">palace</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3470">Isaiah</strongs>, <strongs number="2896">Good</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs>. And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> Is </em><em> it </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><em> good </em>, <strongs number="518">if</strongs><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>and <strongs number="571">truth</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs>in my <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And the <strongs number="3499">rest</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697">acts</strongs>of <strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="1369">might</strongs>, and <strongs number="834">how</strongs>he <strongs number="6213">made</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="1295">pool</strongs>, and a <strongs number="8585">conduit</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">brought</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>into the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, <em> are </em><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3789">written</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697 3117">chronicles</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And <strongs number="2396">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="7901">slept</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>: and <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs>in his <strongs number="8478">stead</strongs>. </verse>
