      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>assembled <strongs number="6950">themselves</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>at the <strongs number="2282">feast</strongs>in the <strongs number="3391">month</strongs><strongs number="388">Ethanim</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">which</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="7637">seventh</strongs><strongs number="2320">month</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="2205">elders</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>took <strongs number="5375">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And they brought <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and the <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs>of the <strongs number="4150">congregation</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><strongs number="3627">vessels</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em>in the <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs>, even those did the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>and the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>bring <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5712">congregation</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, that were <strongs number="3259">assembled</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>him, <em> were </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him <strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>, <strongs number="2076">sacrificing</strongs><strongs number="6629">sheep</strongs>and <strongs number="1241">oxen</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs>could <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="5608">told</strongs><strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="4487">numbered</strongs>for <strongs number="4480 7230">multitude</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>brought <strongs number="935">in</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of the <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>his <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, <strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="1687">oracle</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, <strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="6944">most</strongs><strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><em> place, </em><em> even </em><strongs number="413 8478">under</strongs>the <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs>of the <strongs number="3742">cherubims</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>the <strongs number="3742">cherubims</strongs>spread <strongs number="6566">forth</strongs><em> their </em>two <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs><strongs number="413">over</strongs>the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>of the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3742">cherubims</strongs><strongs number="5526 5921">covered</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>and the <strongs number="905">staves</strongs>thereof <strongs number="4480 4605">above</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='10'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>were come <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><em> place </em>, that the <strongs number="6051">cloud</strongs><strongs number="4390">filled</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, </verse>

      <verse number='12'><strongs number="227">Then</strongs><strongs number="559">spoke</strongs><strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>that he would <strongs number="7931">dwell</strongs>in the thick <strongs number="6205">darkness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>I have surely <strongs number="1129 1129">built</strongs>thee a <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>to dwell <strongs number="2073">in</strongs>, a settled <strongs number="4349">place</strongs>for thee to abide <strongs number="3427">in</strongs><strongs number="5769">forever</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="5437">turned</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>about, and <strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: (and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>;) </verse>

      <verse number='18'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>my <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, <strongs number="3282 834">Whereas</strongs>it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5973">in</strongs>thine <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>to <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>a <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>unto my <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, thou didst <strongs number="2895">well</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5973">in</strongs>thine <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'><strongs number="7535">Nevertheless</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1129">build</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>; <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs>thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>that shall come <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of thy <strongs number="4480 2504">loins</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>shall <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>unto my <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="6965">performed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1697">word</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he <strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs>, and I am risen <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>in the <strongs number="8478">room</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>my <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">sit</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>the <strongs number="3678">throne</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1696">promised</strongs>, and have <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>a <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>for the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And I have <strongs number="7760">set</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>a <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>for the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>, <strongs number="834 8033">wherein</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>he <strongs number="3772">made</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>our <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, when he brought them <strongs number="3318 *853">out</strongs>of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs><strongs number="5975">stood</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>in the <strongs number="5048">presence</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and spread <strongs number="6566">forth</strongs>his <strongs number="3709">hands</strongs>toward <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='23'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>like <strongs number="3644">thee</strongs>, in <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs><strongs number="4480 4605">above</strongs>, or <strongs number="5921">on</strongs><strongs number="776">earth</strongs><strongs number="4480 8478">beneath</strongs>, who <strongs number="8104">keepest</strongs><strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>and <strongs number="2617">mercy</strongs>with thy <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>that <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>thee with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>their <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='26'>And <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>, O <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, let thy <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, be <strongs number="539">verified</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou <strongs number="1696">spakest</strongs>unto thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>my <strongs number="1">father</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'><strongs number="3588">But</strongs>will <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="552">indeed</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>? <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>and <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>of <strongs number="8064">heavens</strongs><strongs number="3808">cannot</strongs><strongs number="3557">contain</strongs>thee; how much <strongs number="637 3588">less</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I have <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='32'>Then <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>in <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>, and <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>, <strongs number="7561">condemning</strongs>the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>, to <strongs number="5414">bring</strongs>his <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>upon his <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>; and <strongs number="6663">justifying</strongs>the <strongs number="6662">righteous</strongs>, to <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>him according to his <strongs number="6666">righteousness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='33'>When thy <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>be smitten <strongs number="5062">down</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="341">enemy</strongs>, <strongs number="834">because</strongs>they have <strongs number="2398">sinned</strongs>against thee, and shall turn <strongs number="7725">again</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>thee, and <strongs number="3034">confess</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, and <strongs number="6419">pray</strongs>, and make <strongs number="2603">supplication</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='35'>When <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>is shut <strongs number="6113">up</strongs>, and there <strongs number="1961">is</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="4306">rain</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>they have <strongs number="2398">sinned</strongs>against thee; if they <strongs number="6419">pray</strongs><strongs number="413">toward</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, and <strongs number="3034">confess</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, and <strongs number="7725">turn</strongs>from their <strongs number="4480 2403">sin</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>thou <strongs number="6031">afflictest</strongs>them: </verse>

      <verse number='61'>Let your <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>therefore <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="8003">perfect</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, to <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs>in his <strongs number="2706">statutes</strongs>, and to <strongs number="8104">keep</strongs>his <strongs number="4687">commandments</strongs>, as at <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='62'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him, <strongs number="2076">offered</strongs><strongs number="2077">sacrifice</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='63'>And <strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs><strongs number="2076">offered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="2077">sacrifice</strongs>of peace <strongs number="8002">offerings</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>he <strongs number="2076">offered</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="8147">two</strongs>and <strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="1241">oxen</strongs>, and a <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs>and <strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="6629">sheep</strongs>.
