And the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="3368">precious</strongs>in <strongs number="1992">those</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>; <em> there </em><em> was </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="6555">open</strongs><strongs number="2377">vision</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>at that <strongs number="3117">time</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">when</strongs><strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs><em> was </em>laid <strongs number="7901">down</strongs>in his <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>, and his <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs><strongs number="2490">began</strongs>to wax <strongs number="3544">dim</strongs>, <em> that </em>he <strongs number="3201">could</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="2962">ere</strongs>the <strongs number="5216">lamp</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>went <strongs number="3518">out</strongs>in the <strongs number="1964">temple</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834 8033">where</strongs>the <strongs number="727">ark</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><em> was </em>, and <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>was laid <strongs number="7901">down</strongs><em> to </em><em> sleep </em>; </verse>
      <verse number='4'>That the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7121 413">called</strongs><strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>: and he <strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Here</strongs><em> am </em>I. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And he <strongs number="7323">ran</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Here</strongs><em> am </em>I; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thou <strongs number="7121">calledst</strongs>me. And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, I <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>; lie <strongs number="7901">down</strongs><strongs number="7725">again</strongs>. And he <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and lay <strongs number="7901">down</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="5750">yet</strongs><strongs number="3254">again</strongs>, <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>. And <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs><strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Here</strongs><em> am </em>I; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thou didst <strongs number="7121">call</strongs>me. And he <strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, I <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, my <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>; lie <strongs number="7901">down</strongs><strongs number="7725">again</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Now <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>did not <strongs number="2962">yet</strongs><strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, neither was the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2962">yet</strongs><strongs number="1540">revealed</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs><strongs number="3254">again</strongs>the <strongs number="7992">third</strongs>time. And he <strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Here</strongs><em> am </em>I; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thou didst <strongs number="7121">call</strongs>me. And <strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs><strongs number="995">perceived</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>the <strongs number="5288">child</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Therefore <strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>, lie <strongs number="7901">down</strongs>: and it shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>, <strongs number="518">if</strongs>he <strongs number="7121 413">call</strongs>thee, that thou shalt <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="1696">Speak</strongs>, <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="8085">heareth</strongs>. So <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and lay <strongs number="7901">down</strongs>in his <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>, and <strongs number="3320">stood</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>as at other <strongs number="6471 6471">times</strongs>, <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>, <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>. Then <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs><strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, <strongs number="1696">Speak</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="8085">heareth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, <strongs number="595">I</strongs>will <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>a <strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, at <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="8147">both</strongs>the <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>of every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs>that <strongs number="8085">heareth</strongs>it shall <strongs number="6750">tingle</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>In <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>I will <strongs number="6965">perform</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs><strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><em> things </em><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I have <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs><strongs number="413">concerning</strongs>his <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>: when I <strongs number="2490">begin</strongs>, I will also make an <strongs number="3615">end</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>For I have <strongs number="5046">told</strongs>him <strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1004">house</strongs><strongs number="5704 5769">forever</strongs>for the <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>he <strongs number="3045">knoweth</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>made themselves <strongs number="7043">vile</strongs>, and he <strongs number="3543">restrained</strongs>them <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And <strongs number="3651">therefore</strongs>I have <strongs number="7650">sworn</strongs>unto the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs>, that the <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>of <strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>shall <strongs number="518">not</strongs>be <strongs number="3722">purged</strongs>with <strongs number="2077">sacrifice</strongs>nor <strongs number="4503">offering</strongs><strongs number="5704 5769">forever</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs><strongs number="7901">lay</strongs><strongs number="5704">until</strongs>the <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs>, and <strongs number="6605">opened</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1817">doors</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. And <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs><strongs number="3372">feared</strongs>to <strongs number="4480 5046 413">show</strongs><strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4759">vision</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Then <strongs number="5941">Eli</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>, my <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>. And he <strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Here</strongs><em> am </em>I. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="1697">thing</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> the </em><em> LORD </em>hath <strongs number="1696">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee? I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs><strongs number="3582">hide</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>me: <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="3541">so</strongs>to thee, and <strongs number="3254">more</strongs><strongs number="3541">also</strongs>, <strongs number="518">if</strongs>thou <strongs number="3582">hide</strongs><em> any </em><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>me of <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">things</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he <strongs number="1696">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs><strongs number="5046">told</strongs>him <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="1697">whit</strongs>, and <strongs number="3582">hid</strongs><strongs number="3808">nothing</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>him. And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">It</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: let him <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>what <strongs number="5869">seemeth</strongs>him <strongs number="2896">good</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs><strongs number="1431">grew</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him, and did let <strongs number="3808 4480 3605">none</strongs>of his <strongs number="1697">words</strongs><strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>to the <strongs number="776">ground</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 1835">Dan</strongs>even <strongs number="5704">to</strongs><strongs number="884">Beer</strongs>-sheba <strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="539">established</strongs><em> to </em><em> be </em>a <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs><strongs number="3254">again</strongs>in <strongs number="7887">Shiloh</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>revealed <strongs number="1540">himself</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>in <strongs number="7887">Shiloh</strongs>by the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
