      <verse number='1'>And the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>gathered themselves <strongs number="6817">together</strongs>, and <strongs number="5674">went</strongs><strongs number="6828">northward</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto <strongs number="3316">Jephthah</strongs>, <strongs number="4069">Wherefore</strongs>passedst thou <strongs number="5674">over</strongs>to <strongs number="3898">fight</strongs>against the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="5983">Ammon</strongs>, and didst <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7121">call</strongs>us to <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thee? we will <strongs number="8313">burn</strongs>thine <strongs number="1004">house</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thee with <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="3316">Jephthah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="589">I</strongs>and my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="1961">were</strongs>at great <strongs number="376 7379 3966">strife</strongs>with the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="5983">Ammon</strongs>; and when I <strongs number="2199">called</strongs>you, ye <strongs number="3467">delivered</strongs>me <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>out of their <strongs number="4480 3027">hands</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='6'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs>they unto him, <strongs number="559">Say</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs><strongs number="7641">Shibboleth</strongs>: and he <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="5451">Sibboleth</strongs>: for he could <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3559">frame</strongs>to <strongs number="1696">pronounce</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="3651">right</strongs>. Then <strongs number="4191">died</strongs><strongs number="3316">Jephthah</strongs>the <strongs number="1569">Gileadite</strongs>, and was <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>in <em> one </em><em> of </em>the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="1568">Gilead</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="310">after</strongs>him <strongs number="78">Ibzan</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 1035">Bethlehem</strongs><strongs number="8199">judged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="310">after</strongs>him <strongs number="356">Elon</strongs>, a <strongs number="2075">Zebulonite</strongs>, <strongs number="8199">judged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; and he <strongs number="8199">judged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="356">Elon</strongs>the <strongs number="2075">Zebulonite</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs>, and was <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>in <strongs number="357">Aijalon</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">country</strongs>of <strongs number="2075">Zebulun</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="310">after</strongs>him <strongs number="5658">Abdon</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="1985">Hillel</strongs>, a <strongs number="6553">Pirathonite</strongs>, <strongs number="8199">judged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And he <strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>and <strongs number="7970">thirty</strongs><strongs number="1121 1121">nephews</strongs>, that <strongs number="7392">rode</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>threescore and <strongs number="7657">ten</strongs>ass <strongs number="5895">colts</strongs>: and he <strongs number="8199">judged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="8083">eight</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And <strongs number="5658">Abdon</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="1985">Hillel</strongs>the <strongs number="6553">Pirathonite</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs>, and was <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>in <strongs number="6552">Pirathon</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>, in the <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs>of the <strongs number="6003">Amalekites</strongs>. </verse>
