      <verse number='3'>The <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="4531">temptations</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>thine <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>have <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs>, the <strongs number="226">signs</strongs>, and <strongs number="1992">those</strongs><strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="4159">miracles</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Yet the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5414">given</strongs>you a <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>to <strongs number="3045">perceive</strongs>, and <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>to <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>, and <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>to <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='19'>And it come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when he <strongs number="8085">heareth</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="423">curse</strongs>, that he bless <strongs number="1288">himself</strongs>in his <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, I shall <strongs number="1961">have</strongs><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">though</strongs>I <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs>in the <strongs number="8307">imagination</strongs>of mine <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>, <strongs number="4616">to</strongs><strongs number="5595">add</strongs><strongs number="7302">drunkenness</strongs><strongs number="854">to</strongs><strongs number="6771">thirst</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='20'>The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="14">will</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5545">spare</strongs>him, <strongs number="3588">but</strongs><strongs number="227">then</strongs>the <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>and his <strongs number="7068">jealousy</strongs>shall <strongs number="6225">smoke</strongs>against <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="423">curses</strongs>that are <strongs number="3789">written</strongs>in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5612">book</strongs>shall <strongs number="7257">lie</strongs>upon him, and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall blot <strongs number="4229">out</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8478">under</strongs><strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="914">separate</strongs>him unto <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>out of <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="7626">tribes</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, according to <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="423">curses</strongs>of the <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>that are <strongs number="3789">written</strongs>in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of the <strongs number="8451">law</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='22'>So that the <strongs number="1755">generation</strongs>to <strongs number="314">come</strongs>of your <strongs number="1121">children</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>shall rise <strongs number="6965">up</strongs><strongs number="4480 310">after</strongs>you, and the <strongs number="5237">stranger</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>shall <strongs number="935">come</strongs>from a <strongs number="7350">far</strongs><strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>, shall <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, when they <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4347">plagues</strongs>of <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8463">sicknesses</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="2470">laid</strongs>upon it; </verse>
      <verse number='23'><em> And </em><em> that </em>the <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>thereof <em> is </em><strongs number="1614">brimstone</strongs>, and <strongs number="4417">salt</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="8316">burning</strongs>, <em> that </em>it is <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2232">sown</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="6779">beareth</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="6212">grass</strongs><strongs number="5927">groweth</strongs>therein, like the <strongs number="4114">overthrow</strongs>of <strongs number="5467">Sodom</strongs>, and <strongs number="6017">Gomorrah</strongs>, <strongs number="126">Admah</strongs>, and <strongs number="6636">Zeboim</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2015">overthrew</strongs>in his <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>, and in his <strongs number="2534">wrath</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='24'>Even <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>shall <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="5921 4100">Wherefore</strongs>hath the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="6213">done</strongs><strongs number="3602">thus</strongs>unto <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>? <strongs number="4100">what</strongs><em> meaneth </em>the <strongs number="2750">heat</strongs>of <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="639">anger</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='26'>For they <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and <strongs number="5647">served</strongs><strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, and <strongs number="7812">worshiped</strongs>them, <strongs number="430">gods</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>they <strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, and <em> whom </em>he had <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2505">given</strongs>unto them: </verse>

      <verse number='28'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>rooted them <strongs number="5428">out</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">of</strongs>their <strongs number="127">land</strongs>in <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>, and in <strongs number="2534">wrath</strongs>, and in <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="7110">indignation</strongs>, and <strongs number="7993">cast</strongs>them <strongs number="413">into</strongs><strongs number="312">another</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, as <em> it </em><em> is </em><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>
