      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1223 5124">Therefore</strongs>seeing we <strongs number="2192">have</strongs><strongs number="5026">this</strongs><strongs number="1248">ministry</strongs>, <strongs number="2531">as</strongs>we have received <strongs number="1653">mercy</strongs>, we <strongs number="1573">faint</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="235">But</strongs>have <strongs number="550">renounced</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs>hidden <strongs number="2927">things</strongs>of <strongs number="152">dishonesty</strongs>, <strongs number="3361">not</strongs><strongs number="4043">walking</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3834">craftiness</strongs>, <strongs number="3366">nor</strongs>handling the word of God <strongs number="1389 3588 3056 2316">deceitfully</strongs>; <strongs number="235">but</strongs>by <strongs number="5321">manifestation</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="225">truth</strongs><strongs number="4921">commending</strongs><strongs number="1438">ourselves</strongs><strongs number="4314">to</strongs><strongs number="3956">every</strongs><strongs number="444">man</strongs>'s <strongs number="4893">conscience</strongs>in the <strongs number="1799">sight</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs><strongs number="1487 *2532">if</strongs><strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="2098">gospel</strongs><strongs number="2076">be</strongs><strongs number="2572">hid</strongs>, it <strongs number="2076">is</strongs><strongs number="2572">hid</strongs><strongs number="1722">to</strongs>them that are <strongs number="622">lost</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="1722">In</strongs><strongs number="3739">whom</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2316">god</strongs>of <strongs number="5127">this</strongs><strongs number="165">world</strongs>hath <strongs number="5186">blinded</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3540">minds</strongs>of them which believe <strongs number="571">not</strongs>, <strongs number="3361">lest</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5462">light</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1391">glorious</strongs><strongs number="2098">gospel</strongs>of <strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, <strongs number="3739">who</strongs><strongs number="2076">is</strongs>the <strongs number="1504">image</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, should <strongs number="826">shine</strongs>unto <strongs number="846">them</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>we <strongs number="2784">preach</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="1438">ourselves</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs><strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs>the <strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>; <strongs number="1161">and</strongs><strongs number="1438">ourselves</strongs><strongs number="5216">your</strongs><strongs number="1401">servants</strongs>for Jesus' <strongs number="1223 2424">sake</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="3754">For</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, who <strongs number="2036">commanded</strongs>the <strongs number="5457">light</strongs>to <strongs number="2989">shine</strongs>out <strongs number="1537">of</strongs><strongs number="4655">darkness</strongs>, <strongs number="*3739">hath</strongs><strongs number="2989">shined</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="2588">hearts</strongs>, <strongs number="4314">to</strongs><em> give </em>the <strongs number="5462">light</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1108">knowledge</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1391">glory</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs>the <strongs number="4383">face</strongs>of <strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs>we <strongs number="2192">have</strongs><strongs number="5126">this</strongs><strongs number="2344">treasure</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3749">earthen</strongs><strongs number="4632">vessels</strongs>, <strongs number="2443">that</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5236">excellency</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1411">power</strongs>may <strongs number="5600">be</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3361">not</strongs><strongs number="1537">of</strongs><strongs number="2257">us</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><em> We are </em><strongs number="2346">troubled</strongs><strongs number="1722">on</strongs>every <strongs number="3956">side</strongs>, <strongs number="235">yet</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="4729">distressed</strongs>; <em> we </em><em> are </em><strongs number="639">perplexed</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs>in <strongs number="1820">despair</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="1377">Persecuted</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="1459">forsaken</strongs>; cast <strongs number="2598">down</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="622">destroyed</strongs>; </verse>

      <verse number='11'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="2249">we</strongs>which <strongs number="2198">live</strongs>are <strongs number="104">always</strongs><strongs number="3860">delivered</strongs><strongs number="1519">unto</strongs><strongs number="2288">death</strongs>for Jesus' <strongs number="1223 2424">sake</strongs>, <strongs number="2443">that</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2222">life</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs>of <strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs>might be made <strongs number="5319">manifest</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="2349">mortal</strongs><strongs number="4561">flesh</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>So <strongs number="5620">then</strongs><strongs number="2288">death</strongs><strongs number="1754">worketh</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="5213">us</strongs>, <strongs number="1161">but</strongs><strongs number="2222">life</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="2254">you</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="*1161"></strongs>We <strongs number="2192">having</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="846">same</strongs><strongs number="4151">spirit</strongs>of <strongs number="4102">faith</strongs>, according <strongs number="2596">as</strongs>it is <strongs number="1125">written</strongs>, I <strongs number="4100">believed</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1352">therefore</strongs>have I <strongs number="2980">spoken</strongs>; <strongs number="2249">we</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs><strongs number="4100">believe</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1352">therefore</strongs><strongs number="2980">speak</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="1492">Knowing</strongs><strongs number="3754">that</strongs>he which raised <strongs number="1453">up</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs><strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs>shall raise <strongs number="1453">up</strongs><strongs number="2248">us</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs><strongs number="1223">by</strongs><strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>shall <strongs number="3936">present</strongs><em> us </em><strongs number="4862">with</strongs><strongs number="5213">you</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>all <strongs number="3956">things</strongs><em> are </em>for your <strongs number="1223 5209">sakes</strongs>, <strongs number="2443">that</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4121">abundant</strongs><strongs number="5485">grace</strongs>might <strongs number="1223">through</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2169">thanksgiving</strongs>of <strongs number="4119">many</strongs><strongs number="4052">redound</strongs><strongs number="1519">to</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1391">glory</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>For which <strongs number="1352">cause</strongs>we <strongs number="1573">faint</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs>; <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="1499">though</strongs><strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="1854">outward</strongs><strongs number="444">man</strongs><strongs number="1311">perish</strongs>, <strongs number="235">yet</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2081">inward</strongs><em> man </em>is <strongs number="341">renewed</strongs>day by <strongs number="2250 2532 2250">day</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='18'>While <strongs number="2257">we</strongs>look not <strongs number="4648 3361">at</strongs>the things which are <strongs number="991">seen</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs>at the things which are not <strongs number="991 3361">seen</strongs>: <strongs number="1063">for</strongs>the things which are <strongs number="991">seen</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="4340">temporal</strongs>; <strongs number="1161">but</strongs>the things which are not <strongs number="991 3361">seen</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="166">eternal</strongs>. </verse>
