      <verse number='2'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs><strongs number="3004">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3340">Repent</strongs>ye: <strongs number="1063">for</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="932">kingdom</strongs>of <strongs number="3772">heaven</strongs>is at <strongs number="1448">hand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="3778">this</strongs><strongs number="2076">is</strongs>he that was spoken <strongs number="4483">of</strongs><strongs number="5259">by</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4396">prophet</strongs><strongs number="2268">Isaiah</strongs>, <strongs number="3004">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="5456">voice</strongs>of one <strongs number="994">crying</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2048">wilderness</strongs>, <strongs number="2090">Prepare</strongs>ye <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3598">way</strongs>of the <strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>, <strongs number="4160">make</strongs><strongs number="846">his</strongs><strongs number="5147">paths</strongs><strongs number="2117">straight</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="1161">And</strongs>the <strongs number="846">same</strongs><strongs number="2491">John</strongs><strongs number="2192">had</strongs><strongs number="848">his</strongs><strongs number="1742">raiment</strongs><strongs number="575">of</strongs><strongs number="2574">camel</strongs>'s <strongs number="2359">hair</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>a <strongs number="1193">leather</strongs><strongs number="2223">girdle</strongs><strongs number="4012">about</strongs><strongs number="846">his</strongs><strongs number="3751">loins</strongs>; <strongs number="1161">and</strongs><strongs number="848">his</strongs><strongs number="5160">meat</strongs><strongs number="2258">was</strongs><strongs number="200">locusts</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="66">wild</strongs><strongs number="3192">honey</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="5119">Then</strongs>went <strongs number="1607">out</strongs><strongs number="4314">to</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs><strongs number="2414">Jerusalem</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3956">all</strongs><strongs number="2449">Judea</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3956">all</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs>region round <strongs number="4066">about</strongs><strongs number="2446">Jordan</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs>were <strongs number="907">baptized</strongs><strongs number="5259">of</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="2446">Jordan</strongs>, <strongs number="1843">confessing</strongs><strongs number="848">their</strongs><strongs number="266">sins</strongs>. </verse>
