      <verse number='4'><em> Even </em>the <strongs number="776">country</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5221">smote</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="5712">congregation</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <em> is </em>a <strongs number="776">land</strongs>for <strongs number="4735">cattle</strongs>, and thy <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>have <strongs number="4735">cattle</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="4100">wherefore</strongs><strongs number="5106">discourage</strongs>ye <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>of the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>from going <strongs number="4480 5674">over</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>them? </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="6213">did</strongs>your <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, when I <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>them from <strongs number="4480 6947">Kadesh</strongs>-barnea to <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='13'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>was <strongs number="2734">kindled</strongs>against <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and he made them <strongs number="5128">wander</strongs>in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs><strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">until</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1755">generation</strongs>, that had <strongs number="6213">done</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, was <strongs number="8552">consumed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, ye are risen <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>in your fathers' <strongs number="8478 1">stead</strongs>, an <strongs number="8635">increase</strongs>of <strongs number="2400">sinful</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>, to <strongs number="5595 5921">augment</strongs><strongs number="5750">yet</strongs>the <strongs number="2740">fierce</strongs><strongs number="639">anger</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="413">toward</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>if ye turn <strongs number="7725">away</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 310">after</strongs>him, he will <strongs number="5750">yet</strongs><strongs number="3254">again</strongs><strongs number="5117">leave</strongs>them in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>; and ye shall <strongs number="7843">destroy</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And they came <strongs number="5066">near</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, We will <strongs number="1129">build</strongs><strongs number="1488 6629">sheepfolds</strongs><strongs number="6311">here</strongs>for our <strongs number="4735">cattle</strongs>, and <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>for our little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='17'>But <strongs number="587">we</strongs>ourselves will go ready <strongs number="2502 2363">armed</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="5704 834 518">until</strongs>we have <strongs number="935">brought</strongs>them <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>their <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>: and our little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs>shall <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>in the <strongs number="4013">fenced</strongs><strongs number="5892">cities</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">because</strongs>of the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='19'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>we will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5157">inherit</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>them on yonder <strongs number="4480 5676">side</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>, or <strongs number="1973">forward</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>our <strongs number="5159">inheritance</strongs>is <strongs number="935">fallen</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>us on this <strongs number="4480 5676">side</strongs><strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs><strongs number="4217">eastward</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='22'>And the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>be <strongs number="3533">subdued</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: then <strongs number="310">afterward</strongs>ye shall <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>, and <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5355">guiltless</strongs>before the <strongs number="4480 3068">LORD</strongs>, and before <strongs number="4480 3478">Israel</strongs>; and <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>your <strongs number="272">possession</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>But <strongs number="518">if</strongs>ye will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="3651">so</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, ye have <strongs number="2398">sinned</strongs>against the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: and be <strongs number="3045">sure</strongs>your <strongs number="2403">sin</strongs>will find you <strongs number="4672 *853">out</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'><strongs number="1129">Build</strongs>you <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>for your little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs>, and <strongs number="1448">folds</strongs>for your <strongs number="6792">sheep</strongs>; and <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>that which hath proceeded <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>of your <strongs number="4480 6310">mouth</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='26'>Our little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs>, our <strongs number="802">wives</strongs>, our <strongs number="4735">flocks</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>our <strongs number="929">cattle</strongs>, shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="1568">Gilead</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='36'>And <strongs number="1039">Beth</strongs>-nimrah, and <strongs number="1028">Beth</strongs>-haran, <strongs number="4013">fenced</strongs><strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>: and <strongs number="1448">folds</strongs>for <strongs number="6629">sheep</strongs>. </verse>
