      <verse number='1'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>gather thyself in <strongs number="1413">troops</strongs>, O <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="1416">troops</strongs>: he hath <strongs number="7760">laid</strongs><strongs number="4692">siege</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>us: they shall <strongs number="5221">smite</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>with a <strongs number="7626">rod</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="3895">cheek</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>But <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>, <strongs number="1035">Bethlehem</strongs><strongs number="672">Ephratah</strongs>, <em> though </em>thou <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="6810">little</strongs>among the <strongs number="505">thousands</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <em> yet </em>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>thee shall he come <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>unto me <em> that </em><em> is </em>to <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="4910">ruler</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; whose goings <strongs number="4163">forth</strongs><em> have </em><em> been </em>from of <strongs number="4480 6924">old</strongs>, from <strongs number="4480 3117 5769">everlasting</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs>will he give them <strongs number="5414">up</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">until</strongs>the <strongs number="6256">time</strongs><em> that </em>she which <strongs number="3205">travaileth</strongs>hath brought <strongs number="3205">forth</strongs>: then the <strongs number="3499">remnant</strongs>of his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>shall <strongs number="7725">return</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And he shall <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs>and <strongs number="7462">feed</strongs>in the <strongs number="5797">strength</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, in the <strongs number="1347">majesty</strongs>of the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>his <strongs number="430">God</strongs>; and they shall <strongs number="3427">abide</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="6258">now</strongs>shall he be <strongs number="1431">great</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="657">ends</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><em> man </em>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>the <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>the <strongs number="804">Assyrian</strongs>shall <strongs number="935">come</strongs>into our <strongs number="776">land</strongs>: and <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>he shall <strongs number="1869">tread</strongs>in our <strongs number="759">palaces</strongs>, then shall we <strongs number="6965">raise</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>him <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="7462">shepherds</strongs>, and <strongs number="8083">eight</strongs><strongs number="5257">principal</strongs><strongs number="120">men</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And they shall <strongs number="7489">waste</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="804">Assyria</strongs>with the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, and the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="5248">Nimrod</strongs>in the <strongs number="6607">entrances</strongs>thereof: thus shall he <strongs number="5337">deliver</strongs><em> us </em><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>the <strongs number="804">Assyrian</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>he <strongs number="935">cometh</strongs>into our <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, and <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>he <strongs number="1869">treadeth</strongs>within our <strongs number="1366">borders</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And the <strongs number="7611">remnant</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>in the <strongs number="7130">midst</strongs>of <strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>as a <strongs number="2919">dew</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">from</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, as the <strongs number="7241">showers</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="6212">grass</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="6960">tarrieth</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>for <strongs number="376">man</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="3176">waiteth</strongs>for the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="120">men</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And the <strongs number="7611">remnant</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>among the <strongs number="1471">Gentiles</strongs>in the <strongs number="7130">midst</strongs>of <strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>as a <strongs number="738">lion</strongs>among the <strongs number="929">beasts</strongs>of the <strongs number="3293">forest</strongs>, as a young <strongs number="3715">lion</strongs>among the <strongs number="5739">flocks</strongs>of <strongs number="6629">sheep</strongs>: <strongs number="834">who</strongs>, <strongs number="518">if</strongs>he go <strongs number="5674">through</strongs>, both treadeth <strongs number="7429">down</strongs>, and teareth in <strongs number="2963">pieces</strongs>, and <strongs number="369">none</strongs>can <strongs number="5337">deliver</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Thine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>shall be lifted <strongs number="7311">up</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thine <strongs number="6862">adversaries</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>thine <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>shall be cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, that I will cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>thy <strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 7130">midst</strongs>of thee, and I will <strongs number="6">destroy</strongs>thy <strongs number="4818">chariots</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And I will cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of thy <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, and throw <strongs number="2040">down</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>thy <strongs number="4013">strongholds</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And I will cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs><strongs number="3785">witchcrafts</strongs>out of thine <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>; and thou shalt <strongs number="1961">have</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><em> more </em><strongs number="6049">soothsayers</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='13'>Thy graven <strongs number="6456">images</strongs>also will I cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>, and thy standing <strongs number="4676">images</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 7130">midst</strongs>of thee; and thou shalt <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="5750">more</strongs><strongs number="7812">worship</strongs>the <strongs number="4639">work</strongs>of thine <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And I will pluck <strongs number="5428">up</strongs>thy <strongs number="842">groves</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 7130">midst</strongs>of thee: so will I <strongs number="8045">destroy</strongs>thy <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And I will <strongs number="6213">execute</strongs><strongs number="5359">vengeance</strongs>in <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>and <strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>upon <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>, such <strongs number="834">as</strongs>they have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>. </verse>
