      <verse number='1'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs>hath the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs><strongs number="7200">showed</strongs>unto me: and <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>a <strongs number="3619">basket</strongs>of summer <strongs number="7019">fruit</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="5986">Amos</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">what</strongs><strongs number="7200">seest</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>? And I <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, A <strongs number="3619">basket</strongs>of summer <strongs number="7019">fruit</strongs>. Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, The <strongs number="7093">end</strongs>is <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; I will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3254">again</strongs>pass <strongs number="5674">by</strongs>them any <strongs number="5750">more</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And the <strongs number="7892">songs</strongs>of the <strongs number="1964">temple</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3213">howlings</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>: <em> there </em><em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="7227">many</strongs>dead <strongs number="6297">bodies</strongs>in <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="4725">place</strongs>; they shall cast <em> them </em><strongs number="7993">forth</strongs>with <strongs number="2013">silence</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs>, O ye that swallow <strongs number="7602">up</strongs>the <strongs number="34">needy</strongs>, even to make the <strongs number="6041">poor</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>to <strongs number="7673">fail</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="559">Saying</strongs>, <strongs number="4970">When</strongs>will the new <strongs number="2320">moon</strongs>be <strongs number="5674">gone</strongs>, that we may <strongs number="7666">sell</strongs><strongs number="7668">corn</strongs>? and the <strongs number="7676">sabbath</strongs>, that we may set <strongs number="6605">forth</strongs><strongs number="1250">wheat</strongs>, making the ephah <strongs number="6994 374">small</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8255">shekel</strongs><strongs number="1431">great</strongs>, and <strongs number="5791">falsifying</strongs>the <strongs number="3976">balances</strongs>by <strongs number="4820">deceit</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='6'>That we may <strongs number="7069">buy</strongs>the <strongs number="1800">poor</strongs>for <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, and the <strongs number="34">needy</strongs><strongs number="5668">for</strongs>a pair of <strongs number="5275">shoes</strongs>; <em> yea </em>, and <strongs number="7666">sell</strongs>the <strongs number="4651">refuse</strongs>of the <strongs number="1250">wheat</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='7'>The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="7650">sworn</strongs>by the <strongs number="1347">excellency</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, <strongs number="518">Surely</strongs>I will <strongs number="5331">never</strongs><strongs number="7911">forget</strongs><strongs number="3605">any</strongs>of their <strongs number="4639">works</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="7264">tremble</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs>, and every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs><strongs number="56">mourn</strongs>that <strongs number="3427">dwelleth</strongs>therein? and it shall rise <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="3605">wholly</strongs>as a <strongs number="2975">flood</strongs>; and it shall be cast <strongs number="1644">out</strongs>and <strongs number="8257">drowned</strongs>, as <em> by </em>the <strongs number="2975">flood</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>, that I will cause the <strongs number="8121">sun</strongs>to go <strongs number="935">down</strongs>at <strongs number="6672">noon</strongs>, and I will <strongs number="2821">darken</strongs>the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>in the <strongs number="216">clear</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And I will <strongs number="2015">turn</strongs>your <strongs number="2282">feasts</strongs>into <strongs number="60">mourning</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>your <strongs number="7892">songs</strongs>into <strongs number="7015">lamentation</strongs>; and I will bring <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="8242">sackcloth</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="4975">loins</strongs>, and <strongs number="7144">baldness</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="7218">head</strongs>; and I will <strongs number="7760">make</strongs>it as the <strongs number="60">mourning</strongs>of an <strongs number="3173">only</strongs><em> son </em>, and the <strongs number="319">end</strongs>thereof as a <strongs number="4751">bitter</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>, that I will <strongs number="7971">send</strongs>a <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>a <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs>of <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs>a <strongs number="6772">thirst</strongs>for <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs>of <strongs number="8085">hearing</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And they shall <strongs number="5128">wander</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 3220">sea</strongs><strongs number="5704">to</strongs><strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>, and from the <strongs number="4480 6828">north</strongs>even <strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4217">east</strongs>, they shall run to and <strongs number="7751">fro</strongs>to <strongs number="1245">seek</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="4672">find</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>In <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>shall the <strongs number="3303">fair</strongs><strongs number="1330">virgins</strongs>and young <strongs number="970">men</strongs><strongs number="5968">faint</strongs>for <strongs number="6772">thirst</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>They that <strongs number="7650">swear</strongs>by the <strongs number="819">sin</strongs>of <strongs number="8111">Samaria</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, Thy <strongs number="430">god</strongs>, O <strongs number="1835">Dan</strongs>, <strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>; and, The <strongs number="1870">manner</strongs>of <strongs number="884">Beer</strongs>-sheba <strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>; even they shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">never</strongs>rise <strongs number="6965">up</strongs><strongs number="5750">again</strongs>. </verse>
