      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1121">Son</strongs>of <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, <strongs number="3789">write</strongs>thee <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><em> even </em>of <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="6106">same</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>: the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs><strongs number="5564">set</strongs>himself <strongs number="413">against</strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="6106">same</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="4911">utter</strongs>a <strongs number="4912">parable</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4805">rebellious</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">say</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; Set <strongs number="8239">on</strongs>a <strongs number="5518">pot</strongs>, set <em> it </em><strongs number="8239">on</strongs>, and <strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="3332">pour</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>into it: </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="622">Gather</strongs>the <strongs number="5409">pieces</strongs>thereof <strongs number="413">into</strongs>it, <em> even </em><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="2896">good</strongs><strongs number="5409">piece</strongs>, the <strongs number="3409">thigh</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3802">shoulder</strongs>; <strongs number="4390">fill</strongs><em> it </em>with the <strongs number="4005">choice</strongs><strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3947">Take</strongs>the <strongs number="4005">choice</strongs>of the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>, and <strongs number="1752">burn</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>the <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs><strongs number="8478">under</strongs>it, <em> and </em>make it <strongs number="7570">boil</strongs><strongs number="7571">well</strongs>, <strongs number="1571">and</strongs>let them <strongs number="1310">seethe</strongs>the <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>of it <strongs number="8432">therein</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="3651">Wherefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; <strongs number="188">Woe</strongs>to the <strongs number="1818">bloody</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, to the <strongs number="5518">pot</strongs><strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="2457">scum</strongs><em> is </em>therein, and whose <strongs number="2457">scum</strongs>is <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>gone <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>it! bring it <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="5409">piece</strongs>by <strongs number="5409">piece</strongs>; let <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="1486">lot</strongs><strongs number="5307">fall</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>her <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs><strongs number="1961">is</strongs>in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of her; she <strongs number="7760">set</strongs>it <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="6706">top</strongs>of a <strongs number="5553">rock</strongs>; she <strongs number="8210">poured</strongs>it <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="776">ground</strongs>, to <strongs number="3680 5921">cover</strongs>it with <strongs number="6083">dust</strongs>; </verse>

      <verse number='9'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; <strongs number="188">Woe</strongs>to the <strongs number="1818">bloody</strongs><strongs number="5892">city</strongs>! <strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="1571">even</strongs>make the pile for <strongs number="4071">fire</strongs><strongs number="1431">great</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>Heap <strongs number="7235">on</strongs><strongs number="6086">wood</strongs>, <strongs number="1814">kindle</strongs>the <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>, <strongs number="8552">consume</strongs>the <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>, and spice it <strongs number="7543 4841">well</strongs>, and let the <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>be <strongs number="2787">burned</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>Then <strongs number="5975">set</strongs>it <strongs number="7386">empty</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="1513">coals</strongs>thereof, <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>the <strongs number="5178">brass</strongs>of it may be <strongs number="2552">hot</strongs>, and may <strongs number="2787">burn</strongs>, and <em> that </em>the <strongs number="2932">filthiness</strongs>of it may be <strongs number="5413">molten</strongs><strongs number="8432">in</strongs>it, <em> that </em>the <strongs number="2457">scum</strongs>of it may be <strongs number="8552">consumed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>She hath <strongs number="3811">wearied</strongs><em> herself </em>with <strongs number="8383">lies</strongs>, and her <strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="2457">scum</strongs>went not <strongs number="3318 3808">forth</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>her: her <strongs number="2457">scum</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em>in the <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>In thy <strongs number="2932">filthiness</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2154">lewdness</strongs>: <strongs number="3282">because</strongs>I have <strongs number="2891">purged</strongs>thee, and thou wast <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2891">purged</strongs>, thou shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="2891">purged</strongs>from thy <strongs number="4480 2932">filthiness</strongs>any <strongs number="5750">more</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">till</strongs>I have caused <strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>to <strongs number="5117">rest</strongs>upon thee. </verse>

      <verse number='15'>Also the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='16'><strongs number="1121">Son</strongs>of <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, I take <strongs number="3947">away</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>thee <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4261">desire</strongs>of thine <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>with a <strongs number="4046">stroke</strongs>: yet <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shalt thou <strongs number="5594">mourn</strongs><strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="1058">weep</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall thy <strongs number="1832">tears</strongs>run <strongs number="935">down</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='18'>So I <strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>in the <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs>: and at <strongs number="6153">even</strongs>my <strongs number="802">wife</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs>; and I <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>in the <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs><strongs number="834">as</strongs>I was <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='20'>Then I <strongs number="559 413">answered</strongs>them, The <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='21'><strongs number="559">Speak</strongs>unto the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>; <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="2490">profane</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="4720">sanctuary</strongs>, the <strongs number="1347">excellency</strongs>of your <strongs number="5797">strength</strongs>, the <strongs number="4261">desire</strongs>of your <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>, and that which your <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs><strongs number="4263">pitieth</strongs>; and your <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>and your <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>ye have <strongs number="5800">left</strongs>shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='23'>And your <strongs number="6287">tires</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>your <strongs number="7218">heads</strongs>, and your <strongs number="5275">shoes</strongs>upon your <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs>: ye shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5594">mourn</strongs><strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="1058">weep</strongs>; but ye shall pine <strongs number="4743">away</strongs>for your <strongs number="5771">iniquities</strongs>, and <strongs number="5098">mourn</strongs><strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="413">toward</strongs><strongs number="251">another</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>Thus <strongs number="3168">Ezekiel</strongs><strongs number="1961">is</strongs>unto you a <strongs number="4159">sign</strongs>: according to <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he hath <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>shall ye <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>: and when this <strongs number="935">cometh</strongs>, ye shall <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs><strongs number="3069">GOD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>Also, <strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, <em> shall </em><em> it </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><em> be </em>in the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>when I <strongs number="3947">take</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>them <strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="4581">strength</strongs>, the <strongs number="4885">joy</strongs>of their <strongs number="8597">glory</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4261">desire</strongs>of their <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>, and that whereupon they <strongs number="4853">set</strongs>their <strongs number="5315">minds</strongs>, their <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>and their <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='26'><em> That </em>he that <strongs number="6412">escapeth</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>shall <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee, to cause <em> thee </em>to <strongs number="2045">hear</strongs><em> it </em>with <em> thine </em><strongs number="241">ears</strongs>? </verse>
