      <verse number='2'>In the <strongs number="2568">fifth</strongs><em> day </em>of the <strongs number="2320">month</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">which</strongs><em> was </em>the <strongs number="2549">fifth</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="3112">Jehoiachin</strongs>'s <strongs number="1546">captivity</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='3'>The <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>came <strongs number="1961 1961">expressly</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3168">Ezekiel</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priest</strongs>, the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="941">Buzi</strongs>, in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of the <strongs number="3778">Chaldeans</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>the <strongs number="5104">river</strongs><strongs number="3529">Chebar</strongs>; and the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And I <strongs number="7200">looked</strongs>, and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, a <strongs number="7307 5591">whirlwind</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="6828">north</strongs>, a <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="6051">cloud</strongs>, and a <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>enfolding <strongs number="3947">itself</strongs>, and a <strongs number="5051">brightness</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="5439">about</strongs>it, and out of the <strongs number="4480 8432">midst</strongs>thereof as the <strongs number="5869">color</strongs>of <strongs number="2830">amber</strongs>, out of the <strongs number="4480 8432">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Also out of the <strongs number="4480 8432">midst</strongs>thereof <em> came </em>the <strongs number="1823">likeness</strongs>of <strongs number="702">four</strongs>living <strongs number="2416">creatures</strongs>. And <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><em> was </em>their <strongs number="4758">appearance</strongs>; <strongs number="2007">they</strongs>had the <strongs number="1823">likeness</strongs>of a <strongs number="120">man</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And every <strongs number="259">one</strongs>had <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>, and every <strongs number="259">one</strongs>had <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="3671">wings</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And their <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="3477">straight</strongs><strongs number="7272">feet</strongs>; and the <strongs number="3709">sole</strongs>of their <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs><em> was </em>like the <strongs number="3709">sole</strongs>of a <strongs number="5695">calf</strongs>'s <strongs number="7272">foot</strongs>: and they <strongs number="5340">sparkled</strongs>like the <strongs number="5869">color</strongs>of <strongs number="7044">burnished</strongs><strongs number="5178">brass</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And <em> they </em><em> had </em>the <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>of a <strongs number="120">man</strongs><strongs number="4480 8478">under</strongs>their <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>their <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="7253">sides</strongs>; and they <strongs number="702">four</strongs>had their <strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>and their <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Their <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="2266">joined</strongs><strongs number="802">one</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="269">another</strongs>; they <strongs number="5437">turned</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>when they <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>; they <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>every <strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="5676">straight</strongs><strongs number="6440">forward</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>As for the <strongs number="1823">likeness</strongs>of their <strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>, they <strongs number="702">four</strongs>had the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>of a <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>of a <strongs number="738">lion</strongs>, <strongs number="413">on</strongs>the right <strongs number="3225">side</strongs>: and they <strongs number="702">four</strongs>had the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>of an <strongs number="7794">ox</strongs>on the left <strongs number="4480 8040">side</strongs>; they <strongs number="702">four</strongs>also had the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>of an <strongs number="5404">eagle</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>Thus <em> were </em>their <strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>: and their <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="6504">stretched</strongs><strongs number="4480 4605">upward</strongs>; <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><em> wings </em>of every <strongs number="376">one</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="2266">joined</strongs>one to <strongs number="376">another</strongs>, and <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="3680">covered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="1472">bodies</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='15'>Now as I <strongs number="7200">beheld</strongs>the living <strongs number="2416">creatures</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs><strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="212">wheel</strongs>upon the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs><strongs number="681">by</strongs>the living <strongs number="2416">creatures</strongs>, with his <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='18'>As for their <strongs number="1354">rings</strongs>, they were so <strongs number="1363">high</strongs>that they were <strongs number="3374">dreadful</strongs>; and their <strongs number="1354">rings</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="4392">full</strongs>of <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>them <strongs number="702">four</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And when the living <strongs number="2416">creatures</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>, the <strongs number="212">wheels</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="681">by</strongs>them: and when the living <strongs number="2416">creatures</strongs>were lifted <strongs number="5375">up</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs>the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>, the <strongs number="212">wheels</strongs>were lifted <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'><strongs number="5921 834 8033">Whithersoever</strongs>the <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>to <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>, they <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>, <strongs number="8033">thither</strongs><em> was </em><em> their </em><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>to <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>; and the <strongs number="212">wheels</strongs>were lifted <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>over <strongs number="5980">against</strongs>them: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>of the living <strongs number="2416">creature</strongs><em> was </em>in the <strongs number="212">wheels</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>When those <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>, <em> these </em><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>; and when those <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>, <em> these </em><strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>; and when those were lifted <strongs number="5375">up</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs>the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>, the <strongs number="212">wheels</strongs>were lifted <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>over <strongs number="5980">against</strongs>them: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>of the living <strongs number="2416">creature</strongs><em> was </em>in the <strongs number="212">wheels</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And the <strongs number="1823">likeness</strongs>of the <strongs number="7549">firmament</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">heads</strongs>of the living <strongs number="2416">creature</strongs><em> was </em>as the <strongs number="5869">color</strongs>of the <strongs number="3372">terrible</strongs><strongs number="7140">crystal</strongs>, stretched <strongs number="5186">forth</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>their <strongs number="7218">heads</strongs><strongs number="4480 4605">above</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='24'>And when they <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>, I <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of their <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs>, like the <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of <strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>, as the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs>, the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of <strongs number="1999">speech</strongs>, as the <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of a <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>: when they <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>, they let <strongs number="7503">down</strongs>their <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs>. </verse>
