      <verse number='1'>The <strongs number="1697">word</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">from</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">speaketh</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3789">Write</strongs>thee <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I have <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee <strongs number="413">in</strongs>a <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, that I will bring <strongs number="7725">again</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7622">captivity</strongs>of my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: and I will cause them to <strongs number="7725">return</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I <strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>to their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, and they shall <strongs number="3423">possess</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="428">these</strongs><em> are </em>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">concerning</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and <strongs number="413">concerning</strongs><strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; We have <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>a <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of <strongs number="2731">trembling</strongs>, of <strongs number="6343">fear</strongs>, and <strongs number="369">not</strongs>of <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="7592">Ask</strongs>ye <strongs number="4994">now</strongs>, and <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="518">whether</strongs>a <strongs number="2145">man</strongs>doth travail with <strongs number="3205">child</strongs>? <strongs number="4069">wherefore</strongs>do I <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="1397">man</strongs>with his <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>his <strongs number="2504">loins</strongs>, as a woman in <strongs number="3205">travail</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="6440">faces</strongs>are <strongs number="2015">turned</strongs>into <strongs number="3420">paleness</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="1945">Alas</strongs>! <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="1419">great</strongs>, so that <strongs number="4480 369">none</strongs><em> is </em>like <strongs number="3644">it</strongs>: <strongs number="1931">it</strongs><em> is </em>even the <strongs number="6256">time</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>'s <strongs number="6869">trouble</strongs>; but he shall be <strongs number="3467">saved</strongs>out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>For it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, <em> that </em>I will <strongs number="7665">break</strongs>his <strongs number="5923">yoke</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 5921">off</strongs>thy <strongs number="6677">neck</strongs>, and will <strongs number="5423">burst</strongs>thy <strongs number="4147">bonds</strongs>, and <strongs number="2114">strangers</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="5750">more</strongs><strongs number="5647">serve</strongs>themselves of him: </verse>
      <verse number='9'>But they shall <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>their <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>their <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whom</strongs>I will raise <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>unto them. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>Therefore <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>, O my <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="408">neither</strongs>be <strongs number="2865">dismayed</strongs>, O <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, I will <strongs number="3467">save</strongs>thee from <strongs number="4480 7350">afar</strongs>, and thy <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of their <strongs number="7628">captivity</strongs>; and <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>shall <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>, and shall be in <strongs number="8252">rest</strongs>, and be <strongs number="7599">quiet</strongs>, and <strongs number="369">none</strongs>shall make <em> him </em><strongs number="2729">afraid</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>thee, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, to <strongs number="3467">save</strongs>thee: <strongs number="3588">though</strongs>I <strongs number="6213">make</strongs>a full <strongs number="3617">end</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="1471">nations</strongs><strongs number="834 8033">whither</strongs>I have <strongs number="6327">scattered</strongs>thee, <strongs number="389">yet</strongs>will I <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6213">make</strongs>a full <strongs number="3617">end</strongs>of thee: but I will <strongs number="3256">correct</strongs>thee in <strongs number="4941">measure</strongs>, and will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>leave thee altogether <strongs number="5352 5352">unpunished</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, Thy <strongs number="7667">bruise</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="605">incurable</strongs>, <em> and </em>thy <strongs number="4347">wound</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2470">grievous</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><em> There </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">none</strongs>to <strongs number="1777">plead</strongs>thy <strongs number="1779">cause</strongs>, that thou mayest be bound <strongs number="4205">up</strongs>: thou hast <strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="8585">healing</strongs><strongs number="7499">medicines</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="3605">All</strongs>thy <strongs number="157">lovers</strongs>have <strongs number="7911">forgotten</strongs>thee; they <strongs number="1875">seek</strongs>thee <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I have <strongs number="5221">wounded</strongs>thee with the <strongs number="4347">wound</strongs>of an <strongs number="341">enemy</strongs>, with the <strongs number="4148">chastisement</strongs>of a <strongs number="394">cruel</strongs>one, <strongs number="5921">for</strongs>the <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>of thine <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>; <em> because </em>thy <strongs number="2403">sins</strongs>were <strongs number="6105">increased</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="4100">Why</strongs><strongs number="2199">criest</strongs>thou <strongs number="5921">for</strongs>thine <strongs number="7667">affliction</strongs>? thy <strongs number="4341">sorrow</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="605">incurable</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>the <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>of thine <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>: <em> because </em>thy <strongs number="2403">sins</strongs>were <strongs number="6105">increased</strongs>, I have <strongs number="6213">done</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs>things unto thee. </verse>
      <verse number='16'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>they that <strongs number="398">devour</strongs>thee shall be <strongs number="398">devoured</strongs>; and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>thine <strongs number="6862">adversaries</strongs>, every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs>of them, shall <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>into <strongs number="7628">captivity</strongs>; and they that <strongs number="7601">spoil</strongs>thee shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="4933">spoil</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that <strongs number="962">prey</strongs>upon thee will I <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>for a <strongs number="957">prey</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>I will <strongs number="5927">restore</strongs><strongs number="724">health</strongs>unto thee, and I will <strongs number="7495">heal</strongs>thee of thy <strongs number="4480 4347">wounds</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>they <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>thee an <strongs number="5080">Outcast</strongs>, <em> saying </em>, <strongs number="1931">This</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>, whom <strongs number="369">no</strongs>man <strongs number="1875">seeketh</strongs>after. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will bring <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>the <strongs number="7622">captivity</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>'s <strongs number="168">tents</strongs>, and have <strongs number="7355">mercy</strongs>on his dwelling <strongs number="4908">places</strongs>; and the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>shall be <strongs number="1129">built</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>her own <strongs number="8510">heap</strongs>, and the <strongs number="759">palace</strongs>shall <strongs number="3427">remain</strongs><strongs number="5921">after</strongs>the <strongs number="4941">manner</strongs>thereof. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>them shall <strongs number="3318">proceed</strongs><strongs number="8426">thanksgiving</strongs>and the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of them that make <strongs number="7832">merry</strongs>: and I will <strongs number="7235">multiply</strongs>them, and they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="4591">few</strongs>; I will also <strongs number="3513">glorify</strongs>them, and they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="6819">small</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>Their <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>also shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>as <strongs number="6924">formerly</strongs>, and their <strongs number="5712">congregation</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3559">established</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>me, and I will <strongs number="6485 5921">punish</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that <strongs number="3905">oppress</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And their <strongs number="117">nobles</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>themselves, and their <strongs number="4910">governor</strongs>shall <strongs number="3318">proceed</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 7130">midst</strongs>of them; and I will cause him to draw <strongs number="7126">near</strongs>, and he shall <strongs number="5066">approach</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="4310">who</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="6148">engaged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>to <strongs number="5066">approach</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me? <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And ye shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and <strongs number="595">I</strongs>will <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="5591">whirlwind</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>goeth <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>with <strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>, a <strongs number="1641">continuing</strongs><strongs number="5591">whirlwind</strongs>: it shall fall with <strongs number="2342">pain</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>of the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>The <strongs number="2740">fierce</strongs><strongs number="639">anger</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7725">return</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">until</strongs>he have <strongs number="6213">done</strongs><em> it </em>, and <strongs number="5704">until</strongs>he have <strongs number="6965">performed</strongs>the <strongs number="4209">intents</strongs>of his <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>: in the <strongs number="319">latter</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>ye shall <strongs number="995">consider</strongs>it. </verse>
