      <verse number='1'><strongs number="6662">Righteous</strongs><em> art </em><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>I <strongs number="7378">plead</strongs><strongs number="413">with</strongs>thee: <strongs number="389">yet</strongs>let me <strongs number="1696">talk</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>thee of <em> thy </em><strongs number="4941">judgments</strongs>: <strongs number="4069">Wherefore</strongs>doth the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>of the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs><strongs number="6743">prosper</strongs>? <em> wherefore </em>are <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>they <strongs number="7951">happy</strongs>that deal very <strongs number="898 899">treacherously</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Thou hast <strongs number="5193">planted</strongs>them, <strongs number="1571">yea</strongs>, they have taken <strongs number="8327">root</strongs>: they <strongs number="1980">grow</strongs>, <strongs number="1571">yea</strongs>, they bring <strongs number="6213">forth</strongs><strongs number="6529">fruit</strongs>: <strongs number="859">thou</strongs><em> art </em><strongs number="7138">near</strongs>in their <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>, and <strongs number="7350">far</strongs>from their <strongs number="4480 3629">reins</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>But <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="3045">knowest</strongs>me: thou hast <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs>me, and <strongs number="974">tried</strongs>mine <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs><strongs number="854">toward</strongs>thee: pull them <strongs number="5423">out</strongs>like <strongs number="6629">sheep</strongs>for the <strongs number="2878">slaughter</strongs>, and <strongs number="6942">prepare</strongs>them for the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of <strongs number="2028">slaughter</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>How <strongs number="5704 4970">long</strongs>shall the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="56">mourn</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6212">herbs</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="7704">field</strongs><strongs number="3001">wither</strongs>, for the <strongs number="4480 7451">wickedness</strongs>of them that <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>therein? the <strongs number="929">beasts</strongs>are <strongs number="5595">consumed</strongs>, and the <strongs number="5775">birds</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, He shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>our last <strongs number="319">end</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="7323">run</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>the <strongs number="7273">footmen</strongs>, and they have <strongs number="3811">wearied</strongs>thee, then <strongs number="349">how</strongs>canst thou <strongs number="8474">contend</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs><strongs number="5483">horses</strongs>? and <em> if </em>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>, <em> wherein </em><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="982">trustedst</strongs>, <em> they </em><em> wearied </em><em> thee </em>, then <strongs number="349">how</strongs>wilt thou <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>in the <strongs number="1347">swelling</strongs>of <strongs number="3383">Jordan</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="1571">even</strongs>thy <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of thy <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, <strongs number="1571">even</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs>have dealt <strongs number="898">treacherously</strongs>with thee; <strongs number="1571">yea</strongs>, <strongs number="1992">they</strongs>have <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>a <strongs number="4392">multitude</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>thee: <strongs number="539">believe</strongs>them <strongs number="408">not</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">though</strongs>they <strongs number="1696">speak</strongs>fair <strongs number="2896">words</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee. </verse>

      <verse number='8'>Mine <strongs number="5159">heritage</strongs><strongs number="1961">is</strongs>unto me as a <strongs number="738">lion</strongs>in the <strongs number="3293">forest</strongs>; it crieth <strongs number="5414 6963">out</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me: <strongs number="5921 3651">therefore</strongs>have I <strongs number="8130">hated</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Mine <strongs number="5159">heritage</strongs><em> is </em>unto me <em> as </em>a <strongs number="6641">speckled</strongs><strongs number="5861">bird</strongs>, the <strongs number="5861">birds</strongs>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>her; <strongs number="1980">come</strongs>ye, <strongs number="622">assemble</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="2416">beasts</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>, <strongs number="857">come</strongs>to <strongs number="402">devour</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="7227">Many</strongs><strongs number="7462">pastors</strongs>have <strongs number="7843">destroyed</strongs>my <strongs number="3754">vineyard</strongs>, they have trodden my portion under <strongs number="947 *853 2513">foot</strongs>, they have <strongs number="5414">made</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="2532">pleasant</strongs><strongs number="2513">portion</strongs>a <strongs number="8077">desolate</strongs><strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>They have <strongs number="7760">made</strongs>it <strongs number="8077">desolate</strongs>, <em> and </em><em> being </em><strongs number="8076">desolate</strongs>it <strongs number="56">mourneth</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>me; the <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>is <strongs number="6213">made</strongs><strongs number="8074">desolate</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="7760">layeth</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5921">to</strongs><strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>The <strongs number="7703">spoilers</strongs>are <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>high <strongs number="8205">places</strongs>through the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="398">devour</strongs>from the <em> one </em><strongs number="4480 7097">end</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>even <strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <em> other </em><strongs number="7097">end</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>: <strongs number="369 3605">no</strongs><strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>shall have <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>They have <strongs number="2232">sown</strongs><strongs number="2406">wheat</strongs>, but shall <strongs number="7114">reap</strongs><strongs number="6975">thorns</strongs>: they have put themselves to <strongs number="2470">pain</strongs>, <em> but </em>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3276">profit</strongs>: and they shall be <strongs number="954">ashamed</strongs>of your <strongs number="4480 8393">revenues</strongs>because of the <strongs number="4480 2740">fierce</strongs><strongs number="639">anger</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>mine <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="7934">neighbors</strongs>, that <strongs number="5060">touch</strongs>the <strongs number="5159">inheritance</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I have caused <strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>to <strongs number="5157">inherit</strongs>; <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will pluck them <strongs number="5428">out</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">of</strongs>their <strongs number="127">land</strongs>, and pluck <strongs number="5428">out</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8432">among</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, after <strongs number="310">that</strongs>I have plucked them <strongs number="5428 *853">out</strongs>I will <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>, and have <strongs number="7355">compassion</strongs>on them, and will bring them <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>, every <strongs number="376">man</strongs>to his <strongs number="5159">heritage</strongs>, and every <strongs number="376">man</strongs>to his <strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <strongs number="518">if</strongs>they will diligently <strongs number="3925 3925">learn</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>of my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, to <strongs number="7650">swear</strongs>by my <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="2416">liveth</strongs>; <strongs number="834">as</strongs>they <strongs number="3925">taught</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>to <strongs number="7650">swear</strongs>by <strongs number="1168">Baal</strongs>; then shall they be <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>But <strongs number="518">if</strongs>they will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">obey</strongs>, I will utterly pluck <strongs number="5428 5428">up</strongs>and <strongs number="6">destroy</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="1471">nation</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
