      <verse number='1'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>will have <strongs number="7355">mercy</strongs>on <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, and will <strongs number="5750">yet</strongs><strongs number="977">choose</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and <strongs number="5117">set</strongs>them <strongs number="5921">in</strongs>their own <strongs number="127">land</strongs>: and the <strongs number="1616">strangers</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3867">joined</strongs><strongs number="5921">with</strongs>them, and they shall <strongs number="5596">cleave</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='5'>The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="7665">broken</strongs>the <strongs number="4294">staff</strongs>of the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>, <em> and </em>the <strongs number="7626">scepter</strongs>of the <strongs number="4910">rulers</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>He who <strongs number="5221">smote</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>in <strongs number="5678">wrath</strongs>with a continual <strongs number="1115 5627 4347">stroke</strongs>, he that <strongs number="7287">ruled</strongs>the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>in <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>, is <strongs number="4783">persecuted</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="1097">none</strongs><strongs number="2820">hindereth</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='29'><strongs number="8055">Rejoice</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>thou, <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="6429">Philistia</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>the <strongs number="7626">rod</strongs>of him <strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="5221">smote</strongs>thee is <strongs number="7665">broken</strongs>: for out of the serpent's <strongs number="4480 8328 5175">root</strongs>shall come <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>a <strongs number="6848">cockatrice</strongs>, and his <strongs number="6529">fruit</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em>a fiery flying <strongs number="8314 5774">serpent</strongs>. </verse>
