      <verse number='1'>A <strongs number="2450">wise</strongs><strongs number="1121">son</strongs><em> heareth </em>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>'s <strongs number="4148">instruction</strongs>: but a <strongs number="3887">scorner</strongs><strongs number="8085">heareth</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1606">rebuke</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>A <strongs number="376">man</strongs>shall <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="2896">good</strongs>by the <strongs number="4480 6529">fruit</strongs>of <em> his </em><strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>: but the <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>of the <strongs number="898">transgressors</strongs><em> shall </em><em> eat </em><strongs number="2555">violence</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='4'>The <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>of the <strongs number="6102">sluggard</strongs><strongs number="183">desireth</strongs>, and <em> hath </em><strongs number="369">nothing</strongs>: but the <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>of the <strongs number="2742">diligent</strongs>shall be made <strongs number="1878">fat</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>A <strongs number="6662">righteous</strongs><em> man </em><strongs number="8130">hateth</strongs><strongs number="1697 8267">lying</strongs>: but a <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs><em> man </em>is <strongs number="887">loathsome</strongs>, and cometh to <strongs number="2659">shame</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='8'>The <strongs number="3724">ransom</strongs>of a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>'s <strongs number="5315">life</strongs><em> are </em>his <strongs number="6239">riches</strongs>: but the <strongs number="7326">poor</strongs><strongs number="8085">heareth</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1606">rebuke</strongs>. </verse>
