      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs><strongs number="2029">conceived</strongs>, and <strongs number="3205">bore</strongs>a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>: and when she <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs>him <strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> was </em><em> a </em><strongs number="2896">goodly</strongs><em> child </em>, she <strongs number="6845">hid</strongs>him <strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="3391">months</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='4'>And his <strongs number="269">sister</strongs><strongs number="3320">stood</strongs>afar <strongs number="4480 7350">off</strongs>, to <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="4100">what</strongs>would be <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>to him. </verse>

      <verse number='11'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in <strongs number="1992">those</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>, when <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>was <strongs number="1431">grown</strongs>, that he went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and <strongs number="7200">looked</strongs>on their <strongs number="5450">burdens</strongs>: and he <strongs number="7200">spied</strongs>an <strongs number="376 4713">Egyptian</strongs><strongs number="5221">smiting</strongs>a <strongs number="376 5680">Hebrew</strongs>, one of his <strongs number="4480 251">brethren</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='14'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4310">Who</strongs><strongs number="7760">made</strongs>thee a <strongs number="8269">prince</strongs>and a <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>us? <strongs number="559">intendest</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>to <strongs number="2026">kill</strongs>me, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>thou <strongs number="2026">killedst</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4713">Egyptian</strongs>?       <verse number='15'>Now when <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>, he <strongs number="1245">sought</strongs>to <strongs number="2026">slay</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>. But <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs><strongs number="1272">fled</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 6440">face</strongs>of <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4080">Midian</strongs>: and he sat <strongs number="3427">down</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>a <strongs number="875">well</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Now the <strongs number="3548">priest</strongs>of <strongs number="4080">Midian</strongs>had <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>: and they <strongs number="935">came</strongs>and <strongs number="1802">drew</strongs><em> water </em>, and <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7298">troughs</strongs>to <strongs number="8248">water</strongs>their <strongs number="1">father</strongs>'s <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='18'>And when they <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="7467">Reuel</strongs>their <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4069">How</strongs><em> is </em><em> it </em><em> that </em>ye are <strongs number="935">come</strongs>so <strongs number="4116">soon</strongs><strongs number="3117">today</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, An <strongs number="376 4713">Egyptian</strongs><strongs number="5337">delivered</strongs>us out of the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="7462">shepherds</strongs>, and <strongs number="1571">also</strongs>drew <em> water </em><strongs number="1802 1802">enough</strongs>for us, and <strongs number="8248">watered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='22'>And she <strongs number="3205">bore</strongs><em> him </em>a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, and he <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><strongs number="1648">Gershom</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, I have <strongs number="1961">been</strongs>a <strongs number="1616">stranger</strongs>in a <strongs number="5237">strange</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='25'>And <strongs number="430">God</strongs>looked <strongs number="7200">upon</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and <strongs number="430">God</strongs>had <strongs number="3045">respect</strongs>unto <em> them </em>. </verse>
