      <verse number='1'>To the chief <strongs number="5329">Musician</strongs>, A <strongs number="4210">Psalm</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>, when <strongs number="5416">Nathan</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="834">after</strongs>he had gone <strongs number="935">in</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="1339">Bathsheba</strongs>. Have <strongs number="2603">mercy</strongs>upon me, O <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, according to thy <strongs number="2617">lovingkindness</strongs>: according unto the <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>of thy tender <strongs number="7356">mercies</strongs>blot <strongs number="4229">out</strongs>my <strongs number="6588">transgressions</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="3526">Wash</strongs>me <strongs number="7235">throughly</strongs>from mine <strongs number="4480 5771">iniquity</strongs>, and <strongs number="2891">cleanse</strongs>me from my <strongs number="4480 2403">sin</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="3045">acknowledge</strongs>my <strongs number="6588">transgressions</strongs>: and my <strongs number="2403">sin</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="8548">ever</strongs><strongs number="5048">before</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Against thee, thee <strongs number="905">only</strongs>, have I <strongs number="2398">sinned</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">done</strongs><em> this </em><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>in thy <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>: <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>thou mightest be <strongs number="6663">justified</strongs>when thou <strongs number="1696">speakest</strongs>, <em> and </em>be <strongs number="2135">clear</strongs>when thou <strongs number="8199">judgest</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="2005">Behold</strongs>, I was <strongs number="2342">shapen</strongs>in <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>; and in <strongs number="2399">sin</strongs>did my <strongs number="517">mother</strongs><strongs number="3179">conceive</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="2005">Behold</strongs>, thou <strongs number="2654">desirest</strongs><strongs number="571">truth</strongs>in the inward <strongs number="2910">parts</strongs>: and in the <strongs number="5640">hidden</strongs><em> part </em>thou shalt make me to <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="2451">wisdom</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="2398">Purge</strongs>me with <strongs number="231">hyssop</strongs>, and I shall be <strongs number="2891">clean</strongs>: <strongs number="3526">wash</strongs>me, and I shall be <strongs number="3835">whiter</strongs>than <strongs number="4480 7950">snow</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Make me to <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><strongs number="8342">joy</strongs>and <strongs number="8057">gladness</strongs>; <em> that </em>the <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs><em> which </em>thou hast <strongs number="1794">broken</strongs>may <strongs number="1523">rejoice</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="5641">Hide</strongs>thy <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>from my <strongs number="4480 2399">sins</strongs>, and blot <strongs number="4229">out</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>mine <strongs number="5771">iniquities</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="1254">Create</strongs>in me a <strongs number="2889">clean</strongs><strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>, O <strongs number="430">God</strongs>; and <strongs number="2318">renew</strongs>a <strongs number="3559">right</strongs><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs><strongs number="7130">within</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="7993">Cast</strongs>me <strongs number="408">not</strongs>away from thy <strongs number="4480 6440">presence</strongs>; and <strongs number="3947">take</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>thy <strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="7725">Restore</strongs>unto me the <strongs number="8342">joy</strongs>of thy <strongs number="3468">salvation</strongs>; and <strongs number="5564">uphold</strongs>me <em> with </em><em> thy </em><strongs number="5082">free</strongs><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><em> Then </em>will I <strongs number="3925">teach</strongs><strongs number="6586">transgressors</strongs>thy <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>; and <strongs number="2400">sinners</strongs>shall be <strongs number="7725">converted</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="5337">Deliver</strongs>me from <strongs number="4480 1818">bloodguiltiness</strongs>, O <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, thou <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of my <strongs number="8668">salvation</strongs>: <em> and </em>my <strongs number="3956">tongue</strongs>shall sing <strongs number="7442">aloud</strongs>of thy <strongs number="6666">righteousness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>O <strongs number="136">Lord</strongs>, <strongs number="6605">open</strongs>thou my <strongs number="8193">lips</strongs>; and my <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>shall show <strongs number="5046">forth</strongs>thy <strongs number="8416">praise</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>thou <strongs number="2654">desirest</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2077">sacrifice</strongs>; else would I <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><em> it </em>: thou <strongs number="7521">delightest</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>in burnt <strongs number="5930">offering</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>The <strongs number="2077">sacrifices</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><em> are </em>a <strongs number="7665">broken</strongs><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>: a <strongs number="7665">broken</strongs>and a <strongs number="1794">contrite</strongs><strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>, O <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, thou wilt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="959">despise</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>Do <strongs number="3190">good</strongs>in thy good <strongs number="7522">pleasure</strongs>unto <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>: <strongs number="1129">build</strongs>thou the <strongs number="2346">walls</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'><strongs number="227">Then</strongs>shalt thou be <strongs number="2654">pleased</strongs>with the <strongs number="2077">sacrifices</strongs>of <strongs number="6664">righteousness</strongs>, with burnt <strongs number="5930">offering</strongs>and whole burnt <strongs number="3632">offering</strongs>: <strongs number="227">then</strongs>shall they <strongs number="5927">offer</strongs><strongs number="6499">bullocks</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thine <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>. </verse>
