      <verse number='1'><em> A </em><em> Psalm </em>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>. The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><em> is </em>my <strongs number="216">light</strongs>and my <strongs number="3468">salvation</strongs>; <strongs number="4480 4310">whom</strongs>shall I <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>? the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="4581">strength</strongs>of my <strongs number="2416">life</strongs>; of <strongs number="4480 4310">whom</strongs>shall I be <strongs number="6342">afraid</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='2'>When the <strongs number="7489">wicked</strongs>, <em> even </em>mine <strongs number="6862">enemies</strongs>and my <strongs number="341">foes</strongs>, <strongs number="7126">came</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>me to eat <strongs number="398">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>, <strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="3782">stumbled</strongs>and <strongs number="5307">fell</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="518">Though</strongs>a <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>should <strongs number="2583">encamp</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me, my <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>: <strongs number="518">though</strongs><strongs number="4421">war</strongs>should <strongs number="6965">rise</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me, in <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><em> will </em><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> be </em><strongs number="982">confident</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="259">One</strongs><em> thing </em>have I <strongs number="7592">desired</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">of</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, that will I seek <strongs number="1245">after</strongs>; that I may <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of my <strongs number="2416">life</strongs>, to <strongs number="2372">behold</strongs>the <strongs number="5278">beauty</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and to <strongs number="1239">inquire</strongs>in his <strongs number="1964">temple</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>in the <strongs number="3117">time</strongs>of <strongs number="7451">trouble</strongs>he shall <strongs number="6845">hide</strongs>me in his <strongs number="5520">pavilion</strongs>: in the <strongs number="5643">secret</strongs>of his <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs>shall he <strongs number="5641">hide</strongs>me; he shall set me <strongs number="7311">up</strongs>upon a <strongs number="6697">rock</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>shall mine <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>be lifted <strongs number="7311">up</strongs><strongs number="5921">above</strongs>mine <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>me: therefore will I <strongs number="2076">offer</strongs>in his <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs><strongs number="2077">sacrifices</strongs>of <strongs number="8643">joy</strongs>; I will <strongs number="7891">sing</strongs>, yea, I will sing <strongs number="2167">praises</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <em> when </em>I <strongs number="7121">cry</strongs>with my <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>: have <strongs number="2603">mercy</strongs>also upon me, and <strongs number="6030">answer</strongs>me. </verse>

      <verse number='9'><strongs number="5641">Hide</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>thy <strongs number="6440">face</strongs><em> far </em><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>me; put not thy servant <strongs number="5186 408 5650">away</strongs>in <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>: thou hast <strongs number="1961">been</strongs>my <strongs number="5833">help</strongs>; <strongs number="5203">leave</strongs>me <strongs number="408">not</strongs>, <strongs number="408">neither</strongs><strongs number="5800">forsake</strongs>me, O <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of my <strongs number="3468">salvation</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="3588">When</strongs>my <strongs number="1">father</strongs>and my <strongs number="517">mother</strongs><strongs number="5800">forsake</strongs>me, then the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>will take me <strongs number="622">up</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="3384">Teach</strongs>me thy <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="5148">lead</strongs>me in a <strongs number="4334">plain</strongs><strongs number="734">path</strongs>, because <strongs number="4616">of</strongs>mine <strongs number="8324">enemies</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="5414">Deliver</strongs>me <strongs number="408">not</strongs>over unto the <strongs number="5315">will</strongs>of mine <strongs number="6862">enemies</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="8267">false</strongs><strongs number="5707">witnesses</strongs>are risen <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>against me, and such as breathe <strongs number="3307">out</strongs><strongs number="2555">cruelty</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><em> I </em><em> had </em><em> fainted </em>, <strongs number="3884">unless</strongs>I had <strongs number="539">believed</strongs>to <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>the <strongs number="2898">goodness</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of the <strongs number="2416">living</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="6960">Wait</strongs><strongs number="413">on</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: be of good <strongs number="2388">courage</strongs>, and he shall <strongs number="553">strengthen</strongs>thine <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>: <strongs number="6960">wait</strongs>, I say, <strongs number="413">on</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
